  • I love this collaboration!! I was lifting all last year but decided to get back into BJJ for this year! Would love to see Juji get into boxing or something even if he doesn’t compete! Just to see him learn and hopefully love a martial art.

    • Yellow Car Phenomenon. If we change what we think about, what we notice in our surroundings will change. Some suggest it has relationship to spiritualness, in that what we invest in will materialize overtime. Its the foundation of “The Secret” concept.

    • It's the same way I think of a teacher/friend/or random face. and all of a sudden I see them that day or within the week at the store. Haven't seen them in years. Im cool with it cause it's beyond my understanding. But I do believe maybe we can tap into the future. Also we are all leaves of the same tree. Things and ideas are shared that's why reading comments makes me not feel alone on alot of subjects. It's mind blowing if you think too deep on it. Also. What created space n time before the big bangs. The very pinnicle. Was space always just black?. Had to start somehow with 0 stars or anything. Again. Beyond human comprehension. Intense.

  • Most powerfull one punch ko guys i think of are deontay wilder and david lemieux , and they have a lot in common : poor footwork , bad balance , poor defense , a good jab , not trying to win by decision , throwing everything at 100% , worst when trying to actually box, when they connect its lights out no count target is sleeping , we remember the knockouts but not the rest of the fight they were losing on point. To compare GGG and Beterbiev punch very hard but the opponent usually dont go to sleep . I beleive the perfect ko's are done mostly by men with bad intentions , thats why a Wilder with peace in his heart should retire . Lemieux could have kept going if he could just make weight and stop fighting p4p guys in their prime 😂 i mean give youself a chance dude I havent watch juji in a while , it feel something is missing but imma get use to it hahahha

  • Power is not the limiting factor. Transference is. If you have a drywall and try and push a nail through, the power is transferred because the nail is stiff. If you try and do the same with a nail made out of marshmallow, it won't work. This is what fucking 99,99% don't get. This is what makes power "god given" in some people. They are just more rigid. Their bones, ligaments and ability to stabilize the joints. Minimizing the give. That's where KO power comes from. The actual generation of power is a TINY piece of the puzzle.

    @paaaatrika@paaaatrika3 ай бұрын
    • Good point, but this isn't untrainable at all...just practice mechanical positioning at contact points, then work backward and forward.

      @stephenr85@stephenr853 ай бұрын
    • Using a nail going through a thin surface is a bad example and is not getting it. Bad comparison. That doesn't apply to punching power, that would apply to causing cuts. High level punching power can be earned. It's not one factor that creates it, well rounded training creates it. You don't understand Boxing.

  • What's with this recent fad of strongmen/lifters turning to fight training?? It's SO unappealing, it reminds me of the ego instability of being a teenager and worrying if you're "tough" or not. I've always loved the inspirational, driven, yet gentle nature of people like Juji and Brian Shaw etc but this feels like an emotionally-developmental step downward. You're 40ish dude, leave this for the immature guys who still think manliness is displaying aggression, not keeping one's secret monster under control, and instead: moving about the world in a peaceful way. Apologies for the semi-rant, it just makes me feel a bit sad, to see these types of video. I hope you move on from this side-path soon Juji, much love from the UK 🇬🇧 Keep bringing us those lifting videos we know and love!! ❤️

    • I hate to say it, but the only pillar that matters on that whiteboard is explosive strength. Juji has every attribute, including TKD experience, and yet he doesn't have power. Technique obviously is a key component and matters more than any of these by a lot. If the list on the whiteboard meant anything, Juji would already have KO power 🤷‍♂

      @UtterUnit@UtterUnit3 ай бұрын
    • @UtterUnit juji has poor mobility and coordination since his muscles severely restrict his ability to be fluid and use his body to produce kinetic energy, he also like all bodybuilders and powerlifters trains in a very static fashion, which is not good when every single athletic sport requires a lot of dynamic force production, which comes down to specific muscles that are mostly overlooked by traditional bodybuilding like the traverse abdominal, obliques, glute medius/minimus... and even more importantly, having the neural capacity to fire off those muscles in the needed pattern to preform a specific movement. That would fall under muscle memory which isn't just about rebuilding lost muscle mass, someone that has last ridden a bike 10 years ago will still get the hang of it better and quicker than someone who is learning it for the first time.

    • @@bingbong6127 You're telling me a man that can regularly do the splits, tricks/flips, handstands, etc., has bad mobility and dynamic power? I don't think so, any other bodybuilder, I would have agreed with you. You can't perform flips without explosivity, you can't do the splits without mobility.

      @UtterUnit@UtterUnit3 ай бұрын
    • @@bingbong6127 Power is genetic/ mental. It's very hard to train

      @horner1641@horner16413 ай бұрын
    • @@UtterUnit he's stiff as a board in his upper body and has zero coordination from his feet to his shoulders. Flipping through the air has f all to do with punching or kicking hard. His timing is off and thus he has no ability to generate force from his kinetic chain. He is a perfect example of arm punching, which is not how you generate any power, it goes from the legs to the hips, transfers to the core, into the upper back/shoulders and finishes with the connection. In one fluid motion. Your arm/forearm is just the connection point, its the lever or the hammer, the rest of the body is actually doing the swinging. He has the strength but that's where it ends.
