  • Juji did the right approach and did all of this for his general assessment of his physicality. If you choose to visit Phil Daru's channel, you'll see that the workouts are tailored for athletes especially for training camp. He assesses them first by doing everything you saw that Juji went through, and then from there, will create a certain program specifically tailored for the athlete so that they can transfer their workouts to the competition stage. This ranges from baseball, to basketball, MMA, bareknuckle fighting, Judo, BJJ, and all manner of sports training and athletics. I'm saying all this because, the Bodybuilding aspect of fitness don't see this type of workout/training as essential because, they don't make people look good, let alone give them the pumps from weights and whatnot. As you grow older -- you WILL grow older -- your body deteriorates, leading to longer recovery times, which in turn makes you more prone to injuries. If the small things are not addressed, like the way you breathe, in the long run, the current thing you're doing now, will do you more harm than good.

  • It's odd to see an MMA guy stressing some of the stuff my massage therapist does, like pointing toes and breathing.

    @thomasbecker9676@thomasbecker96763 ай бұрын
    • Not odd if you think about it. Being an MMA fighter requires the fighter to perform at such a high level, in every possible position, and for long amounts of time. If you're too stiff in MMA it can cost you, so they have an interest in being limber and straining their muscles to mimic situations in a fight.

    • It's a misconception that fighting is just sparring and learning new moves Just the general training of MMA with no added strength and conditioning is enough to write most people off and cause a lot of injuries The toll on the body is very extreme, and honestly, most people who train don't breathe, stretch, or work on mobility or joint/muscle strength and if they did, a lot of more of them would make/ would've made it further

  • Juji this guy really knows what he's talking about, and has a very unique knowledge base as compared to others you've had one. Sounds like he was a dancer as well, maybe a bboy or krumper with that body type, he's very hip to drop steps and can teach you to move like Khabib too. Here's one thing I disagree with, he said you can look like you and still move. This is pure theory and its kind of wrong. Knowledge of rotational movement patterns has exploded in the last two decades, but it has not yet been taken on fully by anyone with a regional contest worthy physique (which is about where I put you, very respectfully sir). I think you can do it, but it willl look different and more silver backy when done right, just like your tricking style. You have achived full lat spread through bilateral patterns, very few "movers" can get to it at all. So in some ways you're beyond us already in ROM, this will create opportunities ad challenges for you (as you have already learned it has created an asymmetric burn-in of sorts on your flexibility about the central vertical body axis). I'd like to help you design these movement patterns, I'd do it for free out of great interest in this area of study. If you want to know my credentials, I was a member of the first genertion of the Bar-Barians street workout crew (Zef Zakavellis crew, the first to bring street workout to Russia in 2009) and I'm also the creator of a number of geometric dance styles. Most famously finger tutting. Anyway, keep heading in the right direction brother of Abraham, son of Judea, jewfro'd liod of Jah Rastafarri
