Both awesome people I don't remember the whole thing that happened between Cus D'Amato and Mike Tyson I just know that other than getting Mike Tyson huge fight purses Don King was the worst thing that happened to Mike Tyson Cus D'Amato was Tyson's mental health anchor once Don King took over Tyson wasn't the same fighter or the same man and you can see it now years after Don King, Mike Tyson is totally different when he's not around Don King. Mama Holyfield was an amazing lady who told Evander what he needed to hear when he needed to hear it most mom's tell you what you want to hear not Mama Holyfield she tell you how it is and what you need not what u want Thank You Mama Holyfield for giving us the 4 time Heavyweight Champion of the World

Evander Holyfield was a small heavyweight. He was a blown up Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight Fought most of his heavyweight matches around 220 lbs, he was fighting Riddick Bowe and Lennox Lewis, who were well over 250 lbs. In a fight that is basically about punching power, he didn't have much power compared to Tyson, Lewis and Bowe. Had a chin made of granite, and he had heart.

Such a powerful testimony from Evander about forgiveness for Mike. That is bigger than any belt he won.

Being punch drunk varies from person to person, but I hear a lot of the time the issue is finding the words and verbalizing thoughts, not so much constructing thoughts or recalling memories.
Oh my God thank you for showing me this today!! Evander holyfield is my all time favorite boxer and is what got me as a kid to get into boxing and im so thankful I did. I never knew he did a joe Rogan interview. This is awesome. I wish I had Evander spiritual strength. Its something truly special

All good things come from god free will is not always a good thing. And thats why his brain told him bite back thats not a good thing. Then to reference god talking about violence in or out of the ring i call bullshit on his love for god. I love evander loved watching him fight. My opinion is all. And to say god spoke to him is absolutely bullshit that did not happen and you can not prove it. Enough with the god crap holy smokes god this god that. And god gave him the ability to beat another mans ass well then apperently he is ok with the brain damage that he suffers from god giving him good hands such bullshit. I get you have faith in some shit that you or anyone else in the world can never prove. Its just excuse to be a violent person that enjoys beating on another man. Evander is a CLASS ACT. What a guy. To forgive Tyson after that and the way he did it, RIGHT after it happened. We can all learn from this man.
Ralph Meta Evander is a fucking cheat. He kept head butting and kneeing Tyson. He won a lot of his fights like that. After he cheated Tyson in the first one, Tyson told him in the rematch if he kept cheating he was going to bite that ear off, he kept cheating and Tyson did what he said he was going to do.

Small in stature but just heavily muscled. I wouldn't call him small since I'm just an inch or two taller than him.
When people say that they mean short, he's not small in any stretch of the imagination.
He was so athletic for his height he could've passed as a bodybuilder. No 5'10 220lbs athlete has ever been so quick and devastating. Tyson is often compared to Foreman, the guy with the heaviest punches in boxing.
So freaking humble 🥹
Great interview. Joe asks all the right questions. Love it. So much respect for Evander. He always gave everything. 100%. I first saw him fight in 1989 and said then, that's the guy with the tools for Tyson. 7 years later.......
