    • You guys clearly know nothing about boxing. Tyson was a 5'11" heavyweight who got outboxed by anybody who could take his power and his chin was average at best. Wilder hits just as hard as Tyson but he's 6'7". Fury is a bigger, stronger version of Muhammad Ali, maybe a little slower, but his size more than makes up for that. Joshua has skills, size, AND power. Very similar to Lennox Lewis who destroyed and dominated Tyson. And remember this, Muhammad Ali only had a 56% knockout rate. That is below average for a heavyweight. His power was average but nothing special. Facts are facts. Luis Ortiz was a very skilled, big, strong southpaw and Wilder knocked his ass out.

From astronomers proving the universe is YOUNG all the way down to molecular biologists who have already proven that DNA is THE INTELLIGENT BLUEPRINT ( from intelligent design ) that ENSURES all species shall remain THE SAME SPECIES forever......or until extinction or cataclysmic event occurs. Don't even try to argue with me, like all of you brainwashed atheist evolutionists do......JUST DO IT. Go see for yourself. Most of you REFUSE to even look at the rapidly growing mountain of real evidence.......so no matter what kind of response you give here, I assure you, I will NOT waste 1 minute reading it. Things such as asking ME to "give you the links" or "prove it myself".......when you have 2 hands full of fingers to hit that keyboard just as easily as those of us who HAVE discovered the TRUTH on our own. I'm NOT going to do YOUR research FOR YOU. The evil, corrupt mainstream scientific community is back-peddling & offering UN-scientific "explanations" that are growing more ridiculous by the day. They are painted into a corner surround by REALITY & TRUTH. The "gig" is up. Evolution AND "the geologic column" ARE DEAD. Now it's up to every person to catch up by learning & re-educating themselves.

    • Here come the Tyson fan excuses while overlooking the fact that Tyson was one of the dirtiest HW fighters of his era.The cut he received in the first fight was dilerate headbutt by him that he came up short in because it buckled his knees and opened a cut. Go look it up. He's bit(more than once),headbutted,thrown elbows,tried to break arms,hit after the bell,hit downed fighters,hit a ref,you name it,he's probably done it yet you fail to mention that. Holyfield kicked his ass plain and simple and Tyson needed a away out of the 2nd fight he was losing so he bit Holyfield. When it didn't work the first time,he did it again to make sure he was DQ'd. Teddy Atlas predicted Tyson would do that BEFORE the fight and he was right.That being said,name one great fighter Tyson beat who wasn't way past their prime.Exactly,you can't because it never happened.

    • Tyson was a great fighter but he was just too small to compete with elite 'super' heavyweights like Lewis and Holyfield. He really should have been a cruiserweight but back then cruiserweight was 190 so basically he ended up being a small heavyweight. But if he fought today he definitely could have cut down from 215 or 220 to 200. Nowadays you have to be a MINIMUM of 6'3" to be a world champ at heavyweight. I mean look at pretty much all the top guys from the early 2000s onward. Holyfield. Lewis. Vitali. Wladimir. Wilder. Fury. Joshua. I mean there are some exceptions (like Tua and Byrd) but as a general rule you gotta be a 'super' heavyweight now. And I don't mean a short fatass either.

      @MrReav13@MrReav135 жыл бұрын
    • To small to compete with Holyfield? He was bigger than Holyfield, who started his career as a cruiserweight. There wasn't really a lot of good big men out there back then, Lewis was a rare exception and in his prime he would box the shit out of today's great HW's. Wilder a SHW? 215-220 lbs is a SHW? Joshua is the only real SHW of this era, genetic freak. And Fury who is just a really big boned dude.

Make no mistake though, I like Max, his knowledge,&his enthusiasm too...but I don't recall reading or hearing Max saying he ever actually wore a glove or had a match,....I see this as a limitation I'd like to hear Max&Mike discuss boxing history, the best of both worlds I think.

He was so strong, and fast for a heavyweight.....and I've heard detractors say he would swing wildly....but....watch his old fights....some of his punches may have seemed that way....but they were pretty darned accurate.....He really brought excitement to the sport during that era.....something that would have been lacking without him. And I think he gives fantastic interviews now.....his sense of humor is actually kind of refreshing....and his "no b.s." answers to questions.....I mean, the guy really tells it like it is.

    • I didn't expect Larry to keep poking at him the way he did, I mean Mike answered the question in this very interview and has done countless times before. It got to a point where I was envisioning Mike losing it and smacking Larry, and Larry just turning to dust XD

    • He definitely is a compassionate man. In his initial boxing career when he was in his prime, you can often see him trying to help his K.O. victims get up afterwards. Guess he lost that compassion and gained a lot of anger in his later years the way he was treated by the press, his managers etc. where everyone was out to get his money. Not saying he's perfect but definitely not a sociopath.

    • Yeah totally agree. Once don king dehumanised him and convinced him all whites were against him etc. it just ruined him as a person.

  • Mike should become a mentor. I have seen so much footage of him lately that it changed my mind from thinking “Mad Mike” to “Mike Mentor”. He did his fair crazy bits, but he is back, more humble then ever and appreciating life more then ever. Well done Mike, well done Sir!
