  • It might've been an accident. But even if it was, when a doctor messes up and accidentally kills somebody, they're held accountable. This cop should be too.

    • If it's truly an accident the surgeon would be held liable for negligence and would have to pay out damages to the family. If it was due to recklessness (i.e. the doctor showed up drunk to work) and employed poor decision making the doctor can serve jail time. Either way the cookie crumbles, the doctor tends to be held accountable one way or another

    • Doctor messes up with clear preparation routine. This was an active crime scene. Very big difference, darling. If a doctor kills a patient in the operating room because the patient has an underlying unknown condition that causes severe side reaction, the doctor is not held accountable.

Wright escalated the situation that lead to his death, despite how absolutely wrong the officers actions were. Think of it this way. In a situation where you’re dealing with an unknown and potentially dangerous individual things happen. In this case, during the heat of the moment the officer made a mistake by using her gun instead of a taser. It’s all documented and the fact that no one brings this up only further the divide.
