Look at the BMW in the rear view almost crashing into the wall at 7:19!
Good spot! StateSideSupercars messaged me immediately when it happened. I guess it's in one of his videos
Good eyes!
Yeah I noticed, he almost crashed !
@Folcro you seem upset
Tried to keep up with this 😂
Misha's driving skill + the Nismo GT-R's electronic assist kept the R35 out of barrier.
This is exactly why I feel a good and not overly intrusive driver assist system should be left on. Sometimes no matter how good you are, it can help save your ass in an unexpected situation.
Exactly.. thank you BMW MDM 😊
@@alexajd5008 ...this is the truth of the matter, right here. we all think we are.....invincible....bah......leave at least the lowest level of TC on

Man...this platform is already 16 years old and it still impresses....only goes to show how far ahead this car was
There are so many good cars that have even better handling than this Nissan.
@@jankees4037 and they all have their own downsides and compromises.
@@jankees4037 which for example???
@@jankees4037 this car held the record for the fastest "volume production" car on the Nurburgring, at an "affordable" cost of $90,000-$120,000 and a time of 7:08 it may not have been the fastest overall for its time but it was up there. The fastest production car was the 918 spyder which had a time of 6:57 an a pricetag of $850,000.
@@jankees4037that is 16 years old?
The owner burned more energy to look relaxed on camera than the Nismo to do the lap.
As the owner is a race car driver, i just don't think that this really was something that special :D
No. That's just how we Danes look. Relaxed, and in good company.
@@philiponyx9805 Probably from all the drugs you're on.
He was enjoyin it quite well I think :)
Lol, maybe he was just relaxed.
A really awesome experience riding with you, I felt definitely that you have +5000 laps on that track :)
I feel bad this car is probably $160,000 and they didn’t even put a transmission cooler on it. This is why I do not like Nissan products.
@@Schwabz33 The Nismo have a lot of thing at it's price that a lot of more extensive cars don't have.. So that's why I support Nissan and i'm not the only one. You just don't like them because you probably can't accept the *fact* that a ''Nissan'' is that fast destroying the most expensive cars out here.
It would be interesting to see what can be done, if you try to lower the weight of the car. (nothing drastic, maybe just for track days take out the unused seats etc).
@@RiasGremoryS54 i understand what ur saying but the thing is this thing is a track machine that can handle like no other with the tyres it has on stock(it's way slicker than a Lamborghini's, Corvettes or porsches on average). But points like this actually are holding the car back. Like with better transmission it could shift faster as well. The nissan's that set lap records have a shift time of 200ms compared to 80-60ms if u wanna get geeky and the last one that ran there was 550horsepower one since the 600was had an extra rollcage. There's also things like the interior that looks a bit cheap for that price range. Its a godly car but it can do much more in the same platform that it is which is also a 4 seater platform. Despite what people say it can still seat 4 6 foot guys inside it but stuff like this will always make it put down by elitist fans of Lamborghini or what else cuz of these things. This is my opinion if Nissan lost those 2 back seats widen the tyres and lost the length of the car since it doesn't need the space for those 2 seats thus losing like 100+Kg in the process, add a 50 more horses to the 600hp version and also add a good transmission. It's probably a 6:50second car for most probably the same price which is insane since every other car above it would still be atleast 1.5 more times costlier and at those ranges even 1.1 times matter.
@Brian Schwab this video has proved that it obviously doesn't need one. It's a luxury sports car. Not a light weight GT car.
Good stuff Misha I like that you pointed out the dangers of missing just one second of attention to the track, very very true
Such a distinctive sound from that GT-R !
And you can easily replicate it with trombone

Very nice! I finally found someone who looks as bored as me on camera even though they are exited. Now you need to find an NSX to compare, though they seem to be pretty rare.
GTR exhaust note is one of the most beautiful note ever
This is a properly athletic car. Sure it's heavy but carries it so well. Well done Nissan.
Yep, they did the best with that weight.
its not even that heavy compared to a lot of modern cars.
The best car in the world.
The tight end of cars
It's heavy for reason

I seen it as well broo 😂😂😂
😂😂😂I came to the comments the second I saw it, I knew I'd find observant people like me😂 that was funny
I have an R35 GTR (670hp) and you summed it up quite well they do feel heavy and the way you braked with the little skids/skips is the same for mine. Kind of surprised the brakes lasted but with the Carbons I guess that changes it. When I come over in my car do you want to take it round?
Sure thing!
hope to see you in a vid
You're so humble mate. Thank you for letting us learn from your mistakes!
You had like 30k subs when i subscribed! Insane how quickly you've grown this year. Congrats Miasha!
That v6 just sounds incredible 😍
Love your videos, bud. I feel like I learn a lot from them.
We must appreciate how fast this track is. The speeds most of the cars that run it reach is crazy. The dips, pivots and angles of the ring can only be felt on site
That wet stream got me too, there was less water after so I didn’t slide as much as you. This needs to be fixed by Nürburgring ASAP!

My Dream car even the normal oné.. enjoyed it really much seeing you drive it properly!
GTR seems a kind of car that makes you feel like a pro, as R8. BTW Misha, you've made the thing seems easier than really is, veeery good!
Damn a GTR on Danish plates that is a rare sight!
Yeah with taxes as high as denmark the guy must be a millionaire at least. Worst country to live if you like cars or if you have some money.

Serious amount of respect for the code brown explanation Misha. GT-R my dream car, so jealous lol. Awesome lap
Did anyone notice that GTR burned 1/4 of fuel tank in just one lap 😂 The fuel tank has 74 liters and Nurburgring is about 20 km long, which means that fuel consumption in this lap was about 90 liters on 100 km 😅
One of fastest laps I have ever see Misha do. What a brilliant car!
Misha is a true driver among us ;) he admits how the e-aides help when stuff goes down giant props to him
This camera setup is absolutely amazing 💯 ❤❤❤ ofcourse on top of your driving...
That's such a coincidence! I was there at Apex on this day! Glad no one got hurt. Funny that I mention this GTR going full send in my Ringtaxi video, so it was actually you who I saw driving it the evening before!
My Gympass... love it! Nürburgring driving is a good exercise too 😂😂 So good to see your honesty about focus... focus focus focus... otherwise you crash 😅
Would have been worse if the gate had accepted the card and took some credits (for drinks etc.) from it. 🙂
the induction noise is amazing
If it happens to an experienced driver like you, it can happen to any of us. It's good that you point out the importance of staying focused on what you're doing when behind the wheel
i don't see anything, what happens ?
@@guims357Did you not watch the first minute of the video? An oil slick on track nearly caused a crash. C'mon man.
Owner did a nice mod of titanium exhausts and the way Misha just drove is just so good
Sounds so goood. I wish Nissan would do a proper revision as it’s pretty long in the teeth though. Would love to see an R35 “final edition” with less weight, enhanced aero, and digital gauge cluster as an example.
I’d love to hear Misha’s feedback on what he thinks of the car while driving. Maybe comparing it to the car’s competitors in that class. Great video! Edit : or a bit of a comparison after the lap, as talking while driving can be a bit distracting.
I did a bit here :)
@@mgcharoudinWe want more! 😂
Agree, Misha normally talks about the dynamic of the car, the suspension handling, the speed in corners and how the traction is, comfort. This video he just said: the car drives great. You can feel the weight through the corners and needs more braking to stop.
Misha is like a young boy playin his favorite game in this car hahah keep up man ! nice driving
Great save mate, you had margin in your driving enough for it. Gotta love the ring for what it is!
hahaah the head turns and lean got me chuckling ..liked the video , their was a problem ,analysis on the prob, solved it and more teaching on eyes an focus on the road.
Misha, gran prova....nonostante l'attacco di cuore!!! Il motore della GT-R è spaventoso da quanto spinge, il tachimetro sale alla stessa velocità di un contagiri.....
When you saw the crane... that was the firs sign... Nice control and recovering on that!! :D
I've gotta say I've watched all kinda content on KZhead for many years. Hands down you're my favorite content creator ❤. Mad respect to you 🙌 👏 💯 Thank you for all the great content and be safe.
Always humble with your skills, yet always remembering people acidents happen. I love cars, but tbh I'm not that good of a driver, I will stick to sim. I've had my fair share of code brown in real life
I struggle on GT at this track , seeing you go this fast while having your life at risk is amaaaazing
You could argue it's easier in real life because of the feedback. You can work your way up to learning a car's limits and be trained the ins and outs of racing and specific tracks. The element of danger and being safe is obviously 1,000,000 times higher though. No reset button.
@@familialgameaholics7618 id agree as long as you trust yourself and the car (trust != overconfidence) its easier to take corners irl. i cant drive for shit in sims cuz i just cant tell what the car is doing half the time
Misho, you made us laugh sweetly out of this situation even though it was dangerous... congratulations! ;-)
Something about the r35 exhaust note that is just so beautiful 🖤

I haven't seen Misha so quiet while thrashing in GT-R before, damn haha
While binge watching through the channel I wonder if he still has the same level of fun with this job as some time ago. He seems to have gotten more and more silent over time during his laps. Still mad skills and perfect handling of cars he only drives once in two or three fast laps.
@@stephankahl5816 this video reminded me when Chris Harris drove one tuned GT-R and he was the exact same. If I recall, Chris's words were: "I can't talk while I'm doing it, cause it's pretty full on". Might be something to do with here as well haha
@@stephankahl5816 I mean, driving at the speeds he is driving at through corners and the amount of concentration that takes, and if you miss just one beat it could all go wrong and you stack it hard.... So i am not surprised at all that talking is really out of the question... And also its not his car so super safety mode while also thrashing, very difficult already, then if u add commentary from him.....Yeah, nah... Im fine with him being quiet... All we need is the music from that engine my guy.....
@@Adamgreen735 You guys are right. I have been watching more videos and can see now the difference between focused driving, relaxed driving (=talking, laughing) and annoyed driving which happens rarely : )
El control de tracción del Gtr es brutal 😎🔥
There is something very soothing about that engine note.
Impressive lap! Save your dashboard footage. Looked amazing due to the light. Spotlight on Nismo😊
Absolutely amazes me how you can just jump in pretty much any car, and just thrash it around the track whilst being completely in control🤯
brake early, take corners sensibly, and full send out of the corner. still feels very fast!
To be fair he isn’t pushing the limit. A full effort time attack could be 30 seconds quicker
The backseats look so Mustang-alike! Great car, even better save, loved it.
I have never heard about this Zeknova tires, and its tire pattern is very similar to the famous advan ad08
Hope the people in the golf are ok, and well held 👀 💪
The owner's look on his face the entire lap is hilarious xD The man is probably still recovering! You really showed him some proper driving.
That's the hygge style of smiling :p
Not sure why Misha doubts the 7:08 Nismo lap time. An amateur driver on KZhead got a 7:25 full lap with traffic and without a race team helping prep the car. The track package 'A' as it was called had more aggressive aero, custom set of fully adjustable ohlins, track diffs and many other bits.
Who got 7:25 lap?
@@mgcharoudin Francesco Thor Nelson (IIRC he is an amatuer but could be wrong). His lap video is still up on KZhead
@@mgcharoudin kzhead.info/sun/qchmj9qakWaVh58/bejne.html
@@chrisjay7736 Holy cow. Looks like Misha's drive was very casual compared to this 7:25 full lap.
And the 7:08 time was in 2013, the FIRST and *OLDER* version of the Nismo ! The latest Nismo model can do below sub 7mn easily. The 2020 Nismo already was faster than the 911 GT3RS 991.2 on Tsukuba. Imagine the 2024 version in the Nurburgring..
The GT-R noises are BEAUTIFUL!!!
R35 is one of my dream cars
Jaysus, look at the fuel gauge at the start of the lap and then the end, a quarter of a tank in one lap 🤯
@Misha Charouding, have you seen the lap record breaking video, they did with an N-Attack GT-R which not only have different suspension, lighter weight, better brakes, cooling upgrades, all 3 differentials were R-Spec, better tires etc. you named. And the driver was blasting thru the corners.
The speedometer needle climbs faster then the needle of the RPM in my diesel Fiat Bravo :D
Man the GTR sounds so good.
This car's main problem is that it's so good, that everyone compares it to 911s, Lambos, and Ferraris. While actually price and platform wise it's in the range of the M5, and RS6.
Yesssss was about time🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Over the years, i lost my car passion. But this car just hits different.

Im jealous of ur mad skills Misha!
I was actually falling asleep at this point, I remember coming up to KZhead corner and then this 11:41 I found find car sounds very soothing

Thats exactly what happened to me except I took damage :D Luckily I decided I wasnt saving it and drove into the slide which allowed me to straighten out just enough to only tap the rails. Still... about 6k worth of body damage thanks to a unibody on the mustang.
5:58 the fact that’s even allowed😂

This is some gta shit
I think the Car itself deserves the credit for that recover for the most part, the tech in that car is just next level.
N attack package as tested in from the Nissan team includes revised ECU Ohlins custom dampers front and rear mechanical LSD and more aero bits upgrades. so unless you can drive one with the N-attack A package installed. I don't know how much you can judge. Especially when you know that none of the GT3/RS unless you change the suspension settings and rear wing settings to the "Track" settings/ I doubt you can do the same claimed time as well?
That interior creaking noise would drive me insane. 😅
Yea what’s up with that?

Its still impressive how good this "old" car is still performing. I mean GTR's are at home on drag, rolling races etc...but its still pretty fast on track ❤
Yes but GT-Rs are know to be very good on track first, and destroying more expensive cars fore way less money. Of course they are the kings of Drag Races.. No one can't even touch them.
Gtrs were known to be insanely good at tracks for their weight.
i have a GTR R35 Nismo ... is a great car. good drive mate
I have tons of hours with GT-R Nismo and one thing you should not do is allow the ABS to quick in...otherwise you go straight to the barriers. Also, this car is amazing on the curves, it feels really safe and your neck will not be thankful after the amount of G-Force this car can put on it. Nice drive btw :)
I guess you haven't watched Francesco Thor Nelson's driving in an older model Nismo GT-R. That dude knows how quick this car is and how to drive it properly and pay attention.
what were your tire pressures before your run?? Thanks ....fun sortie!!
My beloved car, just amazing sound and driving skills ! One day, I will have mine 🙂 inchaAllah
Super driving and mega to see a Danish car on the channel 👍👍👌👌😉😉
I only miss the owner of the BMW M5 E60 in the back seat for contrast. GTR owner chilled out sometimes with only a slight smile of contentment. great guy 💪👍
Should do some close call reasonings for novice an beginner drivers not knowing how to manage the weight and momentum. Great save with the wheel turning, most ppl would just hold the wheel turned in
Your reaction reminded me of Alan Partridge after his near miss whilst driving Jill.
With cheap tires you have to pay extra attention, they can be decent in the dry but catastrophic in the wet. I will never understand how you can buy such an expensive car and then try to save money in the worst place possible. Tires are Zeknova rs606 r1, the thread pattern is a copy of ADVAN AD08 RS. Great driving though! 👍
The truck overtaking was something else 😅
I was literally only thinking the other day "misha doesn't feature much GT-Rs, maybe he hates them". Clearly, I was wrong!
I think it is also hard to find it it in some EU countries... maybe price is close to a Porsche? Not sure. Here in SA they are so rare that sometimes it is more expensive than a 911

Only the latest 992 GT3RS is faster on track *for now.* But wait for the 2024 Nismo. Don't downplay the R35. The 2020 Nismo wich is the "older" version, was already faster than the 991.2 GT3RS on Tsukuba. And yes it's more special than a 911 because of it's history with the badge. Even engine/tuning potential the GT-R surpass every 911 in every way possible. Nissan is world wide known to be one of the best competitor for Porsches with the GT-R.
