You have to wonder if Russia is suffering 'massive losses and unable to advance' why Zelenski and the Biden administration keep desperately begging for billions and billions more from the US taxpayer? I guess that is just for some booger sugar for Zelenski.

Imagine talking about proxy wars and not talking about the biggest one - Ukraine being used as a proxy against Russia by the West.
Proxy war is when factions (same region/ country) fight on behalf of foreign countries / potencies. Unless russia is fighting on behalf of someone else than it isn't a proxy war.

Quick Google search, here's your total tax spending. 22 % Social Security. 14 % National Defense. 14 % Health. 13 % Net Interest. 12 % Medicare. 9 % Income Security. 4 % Veterans Benefits and Services. 3 % Education, Training, Employment, and Social Services. Some 3% for transport and rest for "other". Medicare, Healthcare and SS is almost half your tax spending. Absolutely crazy.
And what does that have to do with this segment? Btw, you do realize that your entire way of life, and every luxury you enjoy, is the result of a global system that wouldn't have existed for the last 70 years without the U.S. protecting commercial shipping, etc. Do you just lack imagination of what the alternative last half decade might have looked like otherwise?

Our foreign policy should be simple. The Monroe doctrine and no foreign entanglements. We should get out of NATO, out of Africa and pull back to Guam in the Pacific. Our Army should be tiny (no standing arrnies) and we should cut the defense budget to $100B or by 90%. The CIA and FBI get defunded and then we are good. .
That’s certainly a plan. But you realize that has consequences: it’s gonna tank your imports (everything gets more expensive) and your exports (no one wants to pay for luxury American goods when they’re on fire), so GDP takes a huge nosedive. Might it create better outcomes in the long term? Maybe. but there’s gonna be 2 generations of poverty before you get there, assuming you ever will

Peter Zeihan is providing geopolitical information not tax advice. absolutely nobody could predict with certainly anything at this level. He is very knowledgeable and has been correct about a great many subjects such as China's demise. He was 90% accurate on Australia's woes, showing a huge amount of local political and economic knowledge few do.

What part of this is "propaganda" exactly? And keep in mind that the nature of Ziehan's work rests entirely on his track record and his credibility. You don't have the clients he has worked with by being consistently wrong.
