  • Just started my 4th listen through of the series today getting ready for the next release. Got all the books on both audible and paperback so I can share with my dad and son who prefer a physical copy. Love the series and love Mr porters performance on every book. Looking forward to series progressing. Thank you for your service and this awesome book series

  • My first real introduction to book vs film was Point of Impact by Steven Hunter. I discussed several points with Steven and he pointed out the production issues that come up with trying to follow the book. Hunter’s character Bob Lee Swagger was basically all the STA dudes I’ve worked with in the Marines and the location where Swagger was from in the book is where I grew up. Many parallels but the movie changed most of it. On the Terminal list, its so different, its almost like getting another book. Loved Taylors portrayal of Ben & glad you added more to his story for film. PS big Magnum fan & love all those easter eggs. Magnum is the reason I chose my path. S/F

    • @@tomgoffnett5624 yes it is. I like the movie too but its very different for sure. Any time a book written 30 years ago is made in to a movie the timelines get super skewed. Swagger was supposed to be rival to GySgt Carlos Hathcock RIP. Vietnam guy. It always makes the transition from book to film difficult because the background is no longer the same. Good book, good movie. S/F

But I love the survival books like 1 second after and the going home series even though they are not the best and even the 299 days series. But that’s just me.

  • Good evening, Hi, my name is Paula, I´m from Brazil and if you can, please, give me a minute of your attention. I do not want money in any way, just to let you understand the importance of your message worldwide. The South part of Brazil is currently under water. Over 300 cities have been decimated by thunderstorms in the last week. Around 1 milion citizens have no drinking water, electricity or safety. Entire cities completely vanished, with an estimate of 2 thousand dead so far. Our army and naval forces have sent help: helicopters that cannot fly due to rain; truck convoys that are parked on the roads because it is wet (this is the oficial note from the army itself). The citizens have been restless in rescues in jet-skis and canoes whereas the army personnel have been disrupting the rescues. Highway patrol officers, army officers and navy officers have been stopping the help from other states because they do not have payed fees and the citizens have been forbidden to perform rescues because they do not have oficial trainning. I apologize for the long message, but my point is: KEEP FIGHTING! Your vídeos fighting the woke communist mentality mean a lot for our current times. Only with a true and strong group of men and women dedicated to protecting and saving the the country, Democracy and Justice are possible. In my country, our military care only about enforcing the government, not the people. The communist regime here is installed. Don´t let this happen to your country, please. Os: I apologize for any mistake, English is not my primary language. I did, however, write “army” and “navy” without capitalization. In my country, They do not desserve even that. Thank you in advance for your time. God bless you. King regards, Paula Kemp
