HONG KONG - Nissan has launched the 2018 Nissan GT-R in Hong Kong, bringing more innovation and excitement to customers. The new edition of the super sports car features an exciting fresh design, both inside and out, and enhanced driving performance.
The GT-R represents Nissan’s pinnacle of engineering and automotive expertise. Only five master craftsmen are certified to hand-build each GT-R engine. The car has been engineered and refined from Nissan’s more than 35 years of experience in global motorsport development.

    • I'm in the U.S. and I've seen 2 R33's so far. You can legally get them here but I hear it's a really long process and you have to be lucky.

  • *Just in case you may have missed it, the reason the R32 isn't featured at the end is because the R32 inspired the 3 kids at the beginning to buy their own GTRs as adults. That's why there's an R33, R34, and R35.* *The connecting point is when the R35 driver touches the GTR badge and you see the same bracelet he wore when he was a kid touching the R32 GTR badge. It's very easy to miss, but the bracelet was shown wrapped around the shifter and on the driver's wrist in a couple shots to signify the growth of the drivers as kids and the GTRs through the years.*

    • All jokes aside, the commercial wouldn't make sense, if you looked closely in the beginning the kids are pointing out the 32. The kids dreams were to buy a Gt-r. On the kids wrist there was a Gt-r bracelet. And around the gear shift of the 35 there was a Gt-r bracelet, it means that that kid who pointed out the 32, is now the owner of the 35.

    • @@dawson.strachan03 You can't really do this as those safety features take space and weigh a lot and so you would have to change the design here and there and you would end up with something similar to the modern gtr but a lot slower and with worse handling than the modern gtr. It won't look the same, it won't feel the same, you will not like it and you probably would then rather have the modern gtr.

    • really any R34 GTR would be the dream. I heard they started at 500hp and got detuned by nissan to reach the gentlemans agreement of 276hp... but couldnt reach it, so its actually 500hp detuned to 330hp and listed as 276hp haha

  • As a GTR owner, this pleases me! I remember seeing the GTRs first hit the floor in 2009 and I managed to pick mine up 8 years later, a dream come true:) I feel like the kid in the beginning of this video. Now, when will Nissan launch a new GTR or for that matter a new Z and Silvia? Don't let them die off just because of SUVs!

    • Acc0rd79 I will state an unpopular opinion. If Ford announced that they will make only trucks, SUV's, and Crossovers, I expect other companies to follow in the North American market. Heck, Rolls Royce announced a Crossover going into production, and don't forget the Lamborghini Urus. So expect a GTR crossover.

  • 自分の子供の頃を見ているかのようです。当時は街中R32が走っていて学校の登下校時に今日は何台スカイライン見たって数えてたっけな。 18歳になってGTRは買えなくてtypeMを買って不慮の事故で廃車になったけどスカイラインが好きで同じ車を買って、働き出してようやく憧れだった32GTRを買ってそして今の愛車34GTRに乗っています。 維持するのは大変だけどこんな素晴らしい車を所有できている喜びを糧に日々地道に頑張ってる。辛い時もこれに乗ると最高な気分にしてくれる！ このビデオ最高👍

  • For the sake of this car, I drove 200 km from my house to a big city where it could potentially be. when I saw her, I ran to her across the road, obstructing the cars.
