    • As soon as I got my driver's license, I immediately started driving a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Three years later, I also bought a Porsche ... :-) It's been 10 years, and I also drive a Subaru and a Porsche, and I haven't changed these cars.

  • This actually hit a soft spot in my heart. Before my dad passed away, growing up I never really had a traditional father son relationship where we did things together. A lot of times we spoke very little to one another, we let our actions speak for us, but rarely ever had arguments, especially one like this commercial. I imagine if we ever did, this would be a similar thing I would've done for him.

  • This is how I feel about my dad's F250, he's selling it this year, and it's the truck I grew up in. All the road trips and vacations and off-road stuff we did makes me miss it. It was my first drive, my first tow, and arguably my first love 😭.

  • I've never argued so much with my dad that makes me move out. But this touches me a lot. He had a Citroen Xantia when I was a kid. It's actually a first car I try to drive when I was 10 years old. And the time has come for me to buy a car and now I have a DS3 for myself.

  • This made me remember my old long gone dad who only was driving Volvo when i turned up in Ford, VW, Toyota, Honda, BMW, Citroën and more and finally one day visited in a Volvo S80 and i nearly couldnt get him out of that car. Cars are for sure important for some of us. 😀

    • My first performance car was a Subaru Legacy RS Turbo wagon. (called a Liberty in Australia) So practical and fast. Great wagons like that hardly exist now, but the Subaru Levorg is close (if expensive for what it is).

  • The language doesn’t matter, the car doesn’t matter; families are the same the world over. A son thinks his father is to controlling, rebels, and later in life realizes he was wrong and wants to amend with his father. I made an assumption when he looked at the old car, that the father was dead and he came home for his mother. This is how life plays out too many times. Don’t wait until it is too late, swallow the pride and tell the person you miss that you love them; because tomorrow may be one day more than either of you have. Subaru really hit it out of the park with this one. And their dog family ones are great too, more humor and less crying in those.
