Personally I will never forgive them for allowing the Oprah interview to be broadcast as Prince Philip was literally dying. There is no point in having loads of savings. If you have to go into care they just take all off your hard earnt money. My cousin is in a nursing home at the moment and it is costing £1500 per week, yes per week. His home is currently being sold to pay for it. If you don’t have the money you don’t have to pay. So many years of working hard to buy his home and save. Just scandalous.

I thought the same as Sarah, during COVID that we had a problem because we don’t make anything here either. It illustrated a problem to depend on China for essentials that we could and should make here. And wouldn’t that help people to have decent jobs in manufacturing? Have we fixed that? No of course not. Just like we put our heads in the sand on homelessness, fair and just immigration reforms, and bettering healthcare. And number one: stop with the tax breaks for the rich! Forgive student loans and moving forward give out student loans that don’t charge interest. The goal is to educate the work force, not enslave them in skyrocketing debt!

My mum has severe dementia and is in a care home. I have just given up my job and we are making changes to our house so that we can bring her home because we can't afford the £65,000 a year care home fees any longer. We are not a rich family, we have never in our lives had a job where we paid above basic rate of tax.

Im disabled through having my thyroid removed i had carerers but they stop as i had to pay 400.00 out of my benefits . Which left me 150 to live on for 1 month plus pay bills . I know how she feels i worked for NHS loved my job know one told me that removal of my thyroid could make me disabled unabled to move withoout crutches or wheelchair. Care has ended for people that needes it.

Yes but the market is already filled with celebrities selling products, the difference is that they had years of building their fanbase through acting, so they already had a name for themselves. Meghan was not a celebrity in her own right, she was a cable TV actress from one series made in Canada and she was sixth in the lineup of important characters. She is infamous from her most recent years and has proven to be untrustworthy as well. She has stated she works one hour a week. So I don’t think people will have a trust in her products.

It made me want to buy things from highgrove but the shipping to the US is close to $70, which is pretty steep. But still would be worth it if the things are really British made. But they’re also really pretty things not all monotone.
I have purchased when in the UK and had hampers shipped back to the US... the shipping fees have always been around $20. Maybe the more you buy, the less shipping paid?
