According to a new book, Queen Elizabeth was angered by Harry and Meghan's claim that she had approved of the name Lilibet for their daughter.
A member of the Queen's staff has reported that Her Majesty was extremely displeased upon hearing that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had publicly declared that they would not have used her private family nickname had she not been "supportive". The staff member described the Queen's reaction as the angriest they had ever seen her.

I think the idea to name the baby Lilibet was because they didn't put the wreath she ordered special, for Prince Philip's funeral and her handwritten letter telling him how much he meant to her. The News stations, in the States, went over each flower and meaning in The Wife's wreath and letter. She was upset it wasn't put on the casket, but instead they used Her Majesty's beautiful wreath and letter with Lilibet. I knew she would use that name, to get back at the Queen, for not letting them keep the name Sussex Royal and not using her wreath. Plus they had registered the name for copyright and trademark, in May 2021, before the babies birth.

It was actually Charles who put a stop to the Harkles doing a nutflix walkabout. Security informed him they were going to do it, so Charles asked William to contact Harry and do a foursome walkabout. M wasn't ready, for when William wanted to do it, (allegedly drunk and not dressed) so that's why there was an hour's delay. At the time of the live broadcast, you could hear reporters + security chatting into mikes and discussing the delay. Wobbly on her feet, and people in the crowd said she smelled of alcohol.

Having to lead a public life all her days, the pet name her dad gave her "Lilibet" was hers alone so I am not surprised she was angry, they knew what they were doing - if Harry and Meghan had truly wanted to cherish her, they should have gone to spend time with her privately at Balmoral with their children in the weeks before she died - as she had asked them to do.

Nope the sharkles were planning to do their own walkabout. The family found out about it and put a stop to it. Forget about these grifters they are the lowest of the low. They had already trademarked the name prior because there’s a paper trail.
There was reporting at the time of Prince Philip's funeral that the Queen had basically said that the name Lilibet was to not be used anymore. It always seemed to me that MM persuaded H that it would be a compliment when to me it was a big up yours. And with the walkabout - also reporting at the time, that it came about because H & M had notified a number of media outlet that they were going to do a walkabout and the outlets called the Palace to confirm. As a result of being given a heads up, Prince William contacted them both and we saw the end result. Regardless, in a lot of that footage from the day, the Netflix crew were noted in the background
a copy of her diary sheet for that day had been sent to an american tv company showing that just the 2 of them were going to be doing the walkabout, they hadnt been given any information about this so contacted a british tv company who also didnt know anything, they contacted a royal aide, who also didnt know about it and he/she contacted william. the girl in the crowd who hugged the witch, was also in the crowd in germany in the rent a crowd they were filmed meeting there. the netlix camera crews were also in the crowd waiting for them to film for their doculie series. at the time this was 'leaked' to the america tv company guess who was with them, omid scro tum. why would this have been leaked to an 'american' tv company and not a british one, who is it that is american!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't all think that walkabout was the beginning of reconciliation. The media loved that word, and "olive branch," but the public seems to always know more than the media's spin would lead us to believe. As for "Lilibet," using that name for their daughter is the epitome of narcissistic parents willing to weaponize their child's name with no regard to the hurt of others, including their own child who has to live with this.
Watching the walkabout, only an idiot would have thought that it was the beginning of reconciliation. William would have felt obliged to be seen together, especially when it was discovered that Hawwy and MM had a Ready arranged a walkabout with a Netflix crew - just the two of them. So he nipped it in the bud by contacting them and saying they would do it together. I can’t believe the audacity of those two grifters in having a Netflix crew with them at such a sad time of loss and grief for the country.
Spot on - I have said this from the beginning, that name is 'Our Queens' and nobody elses-so it is not surprising this latest revelation is not out thank goodness! They always referred to her as Lily unttil the Queen passed then all of a sudden she was being called Lilibet, a nickname that was personal to our Majesty. Call the child Lily as they requested and do not let them get their way!
