"He's A DISGRACE!" JJ Anisiobi Slams Royal Expert Saying Late Queen Was 'Angry' At Harry And Meghan
The late Queen was “as angry as I’d ever seen her” after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex claimed they had her blessing to call their daughter Lilibet, a royal aide said.
Royal author Robert Hardman, in his new biography of the King, tells how a member of staff recounted Elizabeth II’s fury following Harry and Meghan’s announcement in 2021 over the use of her childhood family nickname.
The BBC later reported that a Palace source said the Queen was not asked by the Sussexes whether they could use Lilibet. But the Sussexes’ lawyers fired off legal letters to the broadcaster and other publishers, saying the claim was false and defamatory.
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan insisted at the time that the duke spoke to his grandmother in advance and would not have used the name had the monarch not been supportive.

This was another dig at the nickname ‘Mon Choux’( my cabbage) the Duke of Edinburgh used to call the Queen in private. Not bc so subtle, Megan!

As the actual evidence for these alleged children seems to be slim on the ground no one knows what they look like. "mixed race children who don't exist". With no photographic evidence there is no proof of what they look like. Given that "Archie" is apparently in school, i find it impossible to believe that "someome" with a long range lens hasn't managed to get a shot and plastered it all over the media, unless of course the "children" are home-schooled? Which I doubt. As the identities of Archie and "Lillibet" have been such a closely guarded secret, how many will come forward in the years ahead, claiming to be them ? The only way forward is by using DNA. The making of money from this situation will NEVER stop. So what is the truth about who said what, who over-heard and what anyone thought about it? The last person that called her that name was her husband that she was still grieving. @laurame4301 Many of her granddaughters have Elizabeth as one of their names. That is not the issue! “Lillibet” was a nickname only used by the Queens’s parents, sister and Prince Phillip. She and Princess Margaret could not say the name Elizabeth when they were little. It came out as “Lillibet”. When Prince Phillip died (and all the others had previously died), the Queen requested to never hear the name Lillibet again.

Upon the death of Prince Phillip, the Queen made a rule that nobody else could ever call her Lilibet. Only her parents, her sister, her husband and a few close family were allowed to call her Lilibet.

And Princess Alexandra referred to her publicly on television in the jubilee year as Lilibet (and a few years ago her nephew also publicly called her Aunt Lilibet on national telly as well) and she was known by that name among her EXTENDED family to the day she died. Stop confusing Lilibet and Cabbage, one was a well known and very well used nickname - mainly used apparently because Elizabeth was her official working name, Lilibet was the person she was IN PRIVATE when not working and used by her extended family including those who are members of other European royal houses - and the other was the private pet name used by her husband and only her husband.

He's not saying anyone is second best, and I'm quite sure he was referring to his mother as being a prime example, he was stating a historical fact that royals throughout history have married for all sorts of reasons, most political & stratigical, but very few simply out of love. Diana was a great & obvious example of this. The only real recent true royal love stories that really come to mind are Queen Victoria & Albert and Zara & Mike.

The late Queen was not incensed because they have named their daughter Lilibet but because of the fact that the Sussexes misleadingly claimed in the media that they gave their daughter the name with the blessing of the late Queen which was untrue. The late Queen may have also been incensed by the fact that they have trademarked the name during her pregnancy which means that the Sussexes have planned for commercial use of such personal and intimate name of the late Queen in the future which upset the late Queen. Totally despicable behaviour. I don't think that the telling of the last moments of the late Queen to the public via this book is a bad thing especially when Harry and Meghan have been telling their versions of events which are so far from the truth that these historical facts needs to be corrected via this book with the blessing from the very top. The late Queen is a beloved public historical figure and therefore the recording of her last moments and the telling of this part of history is relevant to the public interest, however intimate these moments are. I think in my opinion, recording the history of the historical figure accurately is the right thing to do.

When they said they would name the child after her, the assumption is “Elizabeth”. Her nickname is not a proper name for a Christening in a church - and official documents.
A reigning Monarchs name is protected. It is a name in Her Image as Head of Commonwealth. Usually two royal Elizabeth's are avoided in preference for middle names. IMO Queen was "never asked" as per Royal Protocol period - she found out like every one else via Media.

Robert Hardman is a well known, well respected journalist, author & broadcaster. JJ is an utter sugar who would attempt to excuse the behaviour of Hazbeen & Methane if they shat on someone's pizza. I know whose reliable sources, accurate reporting and fact-checking I believe.

They used the name Lilibet to demean the Queen and make her feel small and humiliated, because that was what she called herself when she was little and couldn’t say her name. Additionally the Queen had said she hoped to never hear that nickname again after her husband died and so Harry and Meghan used the name to ‘stick it to’ the Queen, because she didn’t let them move into Windsor Castle and other things they wanted.
I think they used the nickname because it was from the Queen...Top Dog, Head of State. Using the name would forever link them further to the Queen and give them more kudos, which might, in turn be very useful to them. It's all about earning potential in their lives.
I think They used Lilibet to show the world how intimate they were with the popular Queen. They manipulated her by saying they were naming their daughter after her knowing that the Queen would assume they meant Elizabeth not the personal private Lilibet. Harry liked to brag that he had a special relationship with the Queen and that there were things she could only talk to him about. I think that's BS and he was just trying to get some of the respect people had for her to rub off on him. Didn't work though.

Markle is lighter-skinned than millions of people of Latino or Mediterranean ancestry, and the children in the photos are about as light-skinned as it’s possible to be. It is simply nonsense for JJ to try to claim that anyone had or has a problem with Markle’s or the children’s skin colour. He seems to stick up for Markle in the name of her skin colour, showing him to be the racist, just like Markle.

Harry said they asked the Queen if they could name their daughter after her. He never said that he asked if he could use her private nickname for his daughter. Considering her name was Elizabeth and "Lilibet" was a private pet name between her and her sister, and also Philip - why in the world would anyone not comprehend that the Queen MIGHT have given permission to use Elizabeth, but certainly didn't give them permission to use "Lilibet"? And only a race baiter would think this is about race. I'm sick of this guy and his blind support of the narcissists.
