the parents were not sentenced because their son went on a horrible killing event, they were sentenced for having bought him the gun, refused to take him back home and getting him serious therapy when contacted by the school to let them know that he was giving very frightening indications that he was plagued by thoughts of blood, death and making it clear that he needed to be removed from school. The parents refused and after he did those horrendous killings, seemed to be more interested in minimizing what happened. They both seemed to indicate very little remorse for their horrifying part in this tragic event. His mother was taking him with her to the shooting range to hone his shooting skills. These parents' reactions to the tragic loss of teenagers were more dismissive than concerned. It was only after months of public disapproval that they started thinking they should give a different message. But the die was already cast. And the parents of four healthy youngsters will be engulfed in heavy grief for the rest of their lives.

My favorite royal is Princess Ann, the Princess Royal. My least favorite Royal is Harry, who for all purposes does nothing but damage to the family who have loved and nurtured throughout his whole life. I live in the US and have for 30 years. I live in Michigan (pronounced Mishigan just to get it right) But you need to look at what the parents did and didn't do I have followed the case. These parents were responsible, there are so many reasons why. They need ever year of the sentence they are the worst kind of parents. And yes the gun culture here is unbelievably bad. A perfect genuine example of this is Chaz Bono who knew he was in the wrong body all his life but was an adult when he decided to make the change permanently. Nobody made those decisions for him, and especially at a young age. He would be a great interview.

I work with teens and when I explain what LGBTQ+ means, the "Q" is not for Queer but for Questioning. I believe that most teens are just trying to find who they are and should be provided with proper psychological follow-up to help them know more about themselves.

These talk show hosts don’t have all the facts. It was brought out during the trial of the Crumbley’s the parents did not get the help for their son which he asked for. They were negligent parents. They left a weapon unsecured. Negligence on the part of school officials is also in play.

I'm an American, you need to find out all the facts about the Crumbley case and why they were convicted. They bought him a dangerous gun, didn't secure it properly, and ignored their son's pleas for help with his mental problems. On the day of the shooting they were called to the school and shown a paper where their son drew a gun just like they bought him, wrote that he saw blood everywhere, and it even said that he wanted help. The school counselor thought that he might be suicidal and wanted them to take him to a mental health professional that day. They refused and said they had to go back to work, although her boss testified that she could've stayed home or even brought him to work. They never told the school he had access to a gun, much less the one he drew, so the school had no reason to think he was a danger to others, they just didn't want the boy to be alone because they thought he might hurt himself. So they let him stay in school when the parents wouldn't take him home. The parents deserved their sentence, no other parent should fear prosecution for what their children do unless they also show a horrible lack of care for others and don't use the required care when dealing with a child and a dangerous weapon.
