A timelapse of my entire build from start to finish over the course of several weeks. This build features mayhems glass tubing with bitspower black sparkle 12mm fittings, AMD 3rd Generation Threadripper 3960X, and a Zenith II Extreme Motherboard.

  • You've mentioned that you can turn on and off the M.2 slot at the back of the motherboard for booting a different OS. Do you control that by switching the booting device priority in the BIOS?

  • 01:47 - I am not sure, but it seems you are not using a support bracket for the top NVME drive, and it looks like it bend in the socket.

  • Three thick 480mm radiators, two large reservoirs and 1500w psu are way over the top for a 1080ti and even the Threadripper. Unsure if there will be bottle necking issues. Clean build though and like the use of glass tubing.

    • I love it. It's definitely not for the novice watercooler. I'd recommend you at least have some experience with hardline or have custom watercooled in the past. It's a little different from PETG, closer to acrylic, but overall relatively similar.

    • You can't buy them anymore, but its a CaseLabs case, I don't recall the model of it.

    • Caselabs TH10, you can find them on ebay on occasion but now that they are harder to find, expect to pay around $1000

    • AMD OSX currently isn't compatible with Third Gen Threadripper. Once they release a new version that is, I'll give it a shot.

    • @@SuprUsrStan I'm thinking about building a 3970x workstation later this year. Trying to figure out a case I want and like. After seeing this video, I really love the dual reservoirs for the water cooling. This build will be my 2nd but will be my first with water cooling.

  • very good build but its an overkill for a 1080ti. You can go much higher for GPU considering the kind of water cooling support you did. Everything is on on point. Even my younger brother laptop has a 1080ti. You are insulting threadripper with 1080ti

    • @@dominicnikon6276 1200W+ is enough for a 2080Ti and a healthy overclock on the CPU. I've been able to pull about 1000W at the wall which is like 900W of actual rated power. I also have a pretty intense overclock too.

    • Man, this was just a cpu motherboard upgrade. I couldn’t justify a 2080Ti so late into its product cycle. Now, a 3080Ti in a couple months? 🤔
