@@PGNuwan It's a limusine, not a sport car. The tyre high profile buffers the high torque deliverd from a drivetrain. This is why all the drag racing cars have huge ballons on their drive wheels. And adds more cushion for rims and suspension.

There is actually a reason for the small rims. Thicker tyres give a softer ride to the passengers, as they have more room to dampen the small bumps in the road. Overall with the amazing S-class suspensions it gives the feeling to be rolling on a cloud. Personally on a car like this I would take this over larger rims which have no real advantage aside from aesthetics.

Pullman was the name of the company that made sleeping cars used for just over 100 years on US railroads. The name was later applied to especially luxurious automobiles and tram cars. Mercedes first used the name on the original 600 long-wheelbase model in the 1960s.

The tyres appear to be PAX tyres which are the run flats for the armoured version. Also, the thick aperture for the doors (the space between the window glass and the inside panel of the door) suggests that the car was designed to be armoured from the start. Very nice, Mercedes Benz.

The Pullman Car Company, founded by George Pullman, was a manufacturer of railroad cars in the mid-to-late 19th century through the first half of the 20th century. they were known for some very opulent sleeper cars. the name probably is a nod to that... Not sure how many examples have been made but I saw an identical MM Pullman last month. Was thrilled to see it, but not surprised; my shiite studio apt is 4 mins away from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, MB AMG, RR/Bentley dealerships as well as a dealership that sells Saleen, Mclaren, and ultra rare one off super cars. It’s awesome yet also depressing - I’m so poor right now
