Anybody who asks you why you make custom shoes for a horse has obviously never had custom shoes or boots made for themselves. There is a reason why custom shoes made for people are generally extremely expensive. Custom made shoes are almost always a perfect fit, it doesn't get any better than that. Just like for people, custom shoes made for a horse are a genuine blessing, especially when they are made for a horse. Blessed in the farrier for taking the time to make the best shoes possible. Some farriers I've known don't know how to make shoes from scratch.

And he also had pulling horses and I had show horses, I was taught as a teenager to shoe my own horses that I showed with my dad’s supervision of course for a few years. I always loved shoeing my own horses then I used to help him with his horses they were Belgians when he was busy working and on the road with the Clydesdale’s. Very interesting work. The dude's an artist at his craft. Beautiful job. Thanks for the upload!!
I like watching hoof trimming / shoeing videos, (as do many people) but it was especially awesome to see the blacksmith actually made the custom shoes! I don't put a fraction of that care into my own footwear, so I can imagine that horse's owner's really care for him.
Beautiful work. Such a highly trained and skilled farrier. Enjoyed watching the video and the hoof transformation. Also, a beautiful horse. Glad he'll recover. Appreciate all you do for our equine friends.
Lord have mercy 🥺 Rough... Wish you shown back Hooves to get an over all Great job 👏👍🐎 Please do updates 😉
Love seeing how you resolve the tough issues. Genius!
If he hasn't been sedated then he is the most well behaved stallion ever. Really interesting video.
Beautiful work and lovely kids. Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh yes! That Daddy's Dear little girl as a helper was wonderful! The next generation of expert farriers is safe in her hands.
Niiiice!! I like that excellent result. And I bet the horse likes it, too. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for keeping the tradition alive. We will be going back to the olden days with the way the world is heading right now. I told my classmates that we would be going back to the olden days, they all laughed at me. I see the original world coming back. Cheers
You must be a kind and caring person. You said it best. You enjoy your custom shoes.
I'm glad you make the shoes yourself. It's fascinating to watch.
That was too cute letting your lil lady stand on the Hoover a bit. Parenting done right Brother!!!
To hear it step twice on front hooves sounded like clunk clunk, plus had its back hoof up on the outer tip. What a great job u did!!
What would the world do without such amazing, knowledgeable, dedicated technicians?? Beautiful work!!!
I'm a new subscriber from New Zealand. Wow! What an amazing job you did with this beautiful stallion. I love that you work "old school". You have amazing skills! I'm going to binge watch your vids now!!! Kim

Beautiful patient creature. You are a blessing kind man😃
I truly enjoyed this video. The horse is beautiful but it's something about a man and tools❤
My dad used to be the farrier for the Budweiser Clydesdales. You are awesome it’s always great to see when the horses are calm.

Mans an actual "Blacksmith Ferrier"!!! That's rare AF today!!! Nice job Brother!!!
Amazing work farriers do. I’m glad I’ve got a good one. My horse developed laminitis, she worked with me, taught me and showed me what was happening w/his hooves as he recovered. Well done. I enjoyed watching your work.
Nicely done. I can remember when laminitis was almost certainly a death sentence. I am so glad to see such progress being made. Thank you.
