I learned in little league football that some heavy dudes can really move. Glad I learned early on. Never underestimate anyone. Just because a guy doesn’t look athletic doesn’t mean they are not athletic. Good video
They probably hide their muscle under all the fat. Literally undercover lol.
Yeah man it's always the guys that never have been in the gym or competing that make those kinds of judgements. I ran with an ex dlineman who was a super fast runner who could carry his weight like it was nothing. Lack of fat is great for instagram but really says nothing for power.
I've known a few street fighters over the years, and probably over half of the best I've seen were what you would call fat guys.
I m not a fighter but usually get into numerous stupid brawls, fat from childhood, later went to gym ,got lean and strong (lifting weights) did not make any difference really.Dieting only made me weak in brawls.Have never lost a fight as a fat man.I don't know how it works though
Former Bills DT Kyle Williams was a balding 6ft 300lb white guy….who could dunk a basketball, shoot in the 70’s on any golf course, and then roll out of bed on Sundays and require double teams. Unreal athlete.
This was a lesson-learned & earned from my 30 yrs as a street cop.
Thanks to you and your mates for keeping us fatasses who can't throw a punch safe! ❤
@@matthewmehegan3475 The cops are protecting you pal, they're protecting the establishment while abusing your human rights.

Did you mistaken a Sumo wrestler as a normal fatso?
We're you the fat one?
Watched many sumo wrestling matches in Japan while in the US Navy. They're were also exhibition matches. 3 Marines against one sumo. Wasn't a contest. Sumo played with them. Lesson learned by watching.
Agree, nobody can take a sumo wrestler in their game. They are very powerful with under appreciated skills and athleticism. However, they also generally can't actually fight outside of sumo rules. And their stamina does follow their physical appearance.
@@davec3651I disagree. If you see their training, you will see they are among the best when it comes to stamina. Well, if by stamina, you mean taking non-sumo hits, then I'm at least more open minded
BS. If a Sumo enters UFC, he will get annihilated by any Marine just out of boot. If you tried to outdo me in my field of experience, with my rules, you will always fail, but what happens on the street, in the real world? BS crap will fail every time. Easier than pie.
well it's exhibition matches, if it's MMA matches and i will pray for the sumo
@@vusherman1125 ok, i got notified of your comment, but there is no comment above that I made :(((
living with a large body is like doing strength exercises 24/7
No it's not That's why this video is the exception and not the rule fat people are not athletic they have no cardio and they are not meant to be in athletic situations honestly will fail 99 times out of 100
And when you get good at doing strength exercises... Ever seen a fat guy do five pull-ups? It's awesome.
True. The fat guys also don't need a full set up to land a well grounded punch I would think. Jabs have all that weight for good solid punches behind them.
I notice when I bulk, my lifts go up, and walking up long hills are harder, but when I cut body weight. I almost fly up the hills afterwards.
Look at NFL offensive linemen. They are not ripped. They are huge and overweight. 6-4 and 350 and the like...much is fat, much muscle...they are strong as an ox. They throw the linebackers who are shredded like rag dolls to the ground.
Butterbean broke the weight barrier
buttergoat
Butterbean was, quite literally, one of the biggest & worse frauds in boxing. He was a created "fighter." If any of his fights weren't fixed it was because that particular opponent was worse than totally inept.

The Fat Panda vs Bob Sapp was hilarious!
Everything when Sapp got asskicked is hilarious. ;)
Sapp getting paid to take a dive. classic!
@@1MinuteFlipDocAbsolutely, terrible acting on his part.
When fat panda got nut kicked. Yo. I felt so bad.
I wonder how much Bob Sapp got to take the dive.
Great idea for a video! Even in high school I remember some chubby kids were outlasting guys on the field whose physiques impressed girls.
Yup, the way I understand it, more muscle equals faster oxygen consumption, but there’s no great way to add more lung capacity along with it.
@@meminustherandomgooglenumbers Yup, I'm not suggesting you should become fat if you're not, but shape (what the body looks like to the eye) and conditioning are far from a perfect correlation.
This is why I've always loved Big Country Nelson
He's a whiny baby though
Him, and Mark Hunt were awesome.
Yes but have he ever been a champion tho, No.
99.99% of people have never been a champion.
@@kylecrowson1417 Big Country, Mark Hunt and Tank Abbott.
No one could take a punch like Butterbean.
You couldn't even tell from behind that a punch had landed. One time I thought he sneezed until I saw the replay. Looked like he tried to headbutt the punch.
Good ol’ butterbean has no neck, the man is an immovable beast, love him.
Mike Tyson
Butterbean is a human tank, I bet a concrete block couldn't take heavier punches
No one could drink punch like Butterbean, either.
1:46 you had me at 'influencer' 😂
I really enjoyed the Ruiz Joshua fight. Ridiculous fast hands for so much weight.
That panda guy was hilarious but a savage.
I can say there is something to people with body types that appear over weight and out of shape. There are some whos physical ability and toughness far exceeds expectations. I fought someone like this a long time ago. And on points I was kicking his ass but nothing and I mean nothing that I hit him with hurt him at all. I might as well not even bothered to strike at all. And once my opponent got ahold of me it was as if he had super human strength and tossed me around like a rag doll despite he wasnt that much larger than I was. I've never been so confused or defeated in all my life. I just couldn't understand it. Some people are just special in this regard. While I never went down or gave in. The fight ended clearly with my opponent the winner. Sometimes these rare intangibles will humble even the best of fighters. Its as if this guy was a tank and I was trying to defeat it with a bee bee gun.
X-Men's the Blob
Check out Nabil Khachab who was in the video, his nickname is the tank! It's like you described him, 300 pounds rolling over you with heavy punches, able to do flying knees and high kicks!
I got into a same situation,i grew up in Iran and back in those days fighting was one the few fun activities we had :)) We had a new kid in school he was much bigger then me but was fat and looked lazy, i start picking on him,boy that was a mistake, imagine i jump kicked him he did not move instead i was fell on my ass ,got up start throwing punches it didn’t do shit him ,finally he bear hugged me from my waist lifted me up nocked me to ground falling on top of me ,it felt like my chest got crushed lost my breath,i genuinely thought i was dying.i was trying win reputation among my friends instead i embarrassed myself but i didn’t learn a lesson because i kept getting into more fights all the way until i moved to US where you would get arrested for beating somebody up 😂
@@Jupiter-td4kwThat's why your country is people eating dogs and s******* in the streets and our country is freedom and boxing gloves
@@Jupiter-td4kw you sound a lot like what my childhood on through my teenage years were like. Well my friend we were all wild for a time :-) That all ended when I got into a fight that I did not start but I was over 18 years old. Since there were no 3rd party witnesses it was my word against his. We both went to jail. The charges were dropped but the fact I was arrested still followed me in regards to job interviews and renewing my drivers license. Even when you're only defending yourself you can still suffer in the US. Its not fair and does suck. Be good brother I enjoyed reading your story. It reminded of a lot of crazy shit I did when I was young.
I Immediately think of Butterbean. When I was a kid I remember his absolutely unreasonable amount of KO power was awesome but terrifying. Plus there was also that one time he sent Johnny Knoxville flying into a display case 😂
Alan Ngalani, money can buy steroids, but can't buy talent and heart! 😂
That’s partly untrue. Alan is a good fighter…but this day somebody other was better. That’s it, u internet Tyson.
Them Morrocans is something else man 💪🏽🤙🏽
I waited patiently for Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua's. I wasn't disappointed.
"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face" - Mike Tyson
That was a beautiful clean counter from BOB TEKKEN 7
Gotta love Butterbean. A great fighter and the couple of people I know that actually know Eric say he’s a very humble and nice man.
Tank Abbot is a prime example.
He was an animal, for sure. But as the sport evolved, he didn't, so he started losing. He called himself a pit fighter, didn't he? The first one I remember as a surprise loss was when Tank fought 19 year-old Vitor Belfort. Vitor flew across the octagon and started landing straight punches immediately, Tank went down quick.
Tank was a badass! In his prime hed give anyone a tough fight!
@@marcd1981His prime was the first two UFC tournaments he was in! After that he would start losing on occasion!
@@marcd1981 Ya but he was already like 30 years old when he had his first octagon match, so within a couple years, you’re already starting to talk about Larry Bird’s retirement age.
I would’ve loved to see that guy in a bar brawl back in the day
A good friend of mine finished the "Ironman" race in Austria last year. (3,8 Km Swimming / 180 Km Cycling / 42,2 Km Running, Marathon) ...he did it in about 16 hours. He looks like a "Strongman" but not athletic, you would never think he can do such an endurance race. ...but he did !
Strongmen are way more Athletic than you think. Just look at any of their backgrounds from the current ones or from the 70’s and you’ll see they all have Athletic backgrounds. In order to do Strongman you have to be Athletic, not some big blob.
@@hydro.pl.27 Bullshit ! ....i know my friend since we were 10 years old....1990....he was never athletic, he was always fat !
Eric's big overhand right was the hardest I've ever seen. When connected it was always lights out instantly.
Just the title and I was like _"This video better have a bunch of Butterbean footage!"_ Was not disappointed
This felt more like bad fighters vs even worse fighters 😄
"finishes him faster than a morning cereal" I can see you really put a lot of effort into your narration 🤣
You can work out and get fit all you want, but nothing is more important than skill and technique.
...and weight
Which means you need to work out or work hard to fine tune the skills and techniques.
You can be heavy, but speed is a power and skill in it's own right also.
I remember watching Johnny Knoxville and Butterbean enter a department store in full gear and I knew immediately that it wasn’t going to end well with Knoxville😂😂
King du panda😂😂😂😭😭😭that one got me
Surprised there isn't any Roy 'Big Country' Nelson clips on here. People always joked about how he looked but he was a tank of a UFC fighter
These hits to the noggin remind of Mr. Incredible throwing that rock that makes the Nomanisan Island guards head do the triple wobble. I always laugh when I see that scene.
How do you not have any footage of Mark Hunt or Tai Tuivasa in this?
No doubt 👍
@@Fred_NaughT came to say this. Or Roy Nelson or Fedor Emelianenko

Butterbean was always fun to watch when I was growing up. Everybody feared that dude!
My dad trained Bob Sapp for three months in 2006. Always high, always late and was showed the door. Nice enough guy though. I did mitt work with him a few times. The power was unbelievable.
this was great!
Go Chubby Boy! Make the block Hot 🔥 😂
I never would've believed it unless I seen it 😮😮😮
first one was a bodybuilding you tuber vs a real boxer
Butterbean didn't retire. He just lost a lotta weight, liposuction and took acting class and changed his name. Now he goes by Michael Chiklis.
I actually looked this up 🤣🤣🤣 they look alike and both born in August lol gg

Runs that pawnshop called "Gold & Silver Pawn Shop" too, right?
Andy winning the belt was magic. Bob Sapp wanting to fight Tyson would’ve been comical, should’ve happened
Since Andy Ruiz won that fight I always say that I have a World Champion body type
Boxing isn't a bodybuilding event.
The anatomy of the whole thing is: = VISIBLE muscles VS INVISIBLE muscles. The fine lines of well structured muscle vs ( Exactly the same structure, only covered by a layer of fat) Sort of a 6l V8 without a bonnet lid vs a 6l V8 with a bonnet lid.
Love when these kinds of videos don't forget about Butter Bean.
Joshua got caught with a punch 🥊 that threw his equilibrium off. Great fight by Ruiz
My dad was like this. He did not look to be in shape, but he was amazingly strong. I saw him pick up and move super heavy things with no problem that I would not even think about picking up myself. He was very strong. In these fights tho, if the heavyset fighter does not win right away with overwhelming brute force, it turns into a cardio workout for them and they get winded quick. Still, don’t underestimate brute force
I've seen a few go like this only for the fat, winded guy, losing on points, manage to connect, boom, fight over.
Sapp is jacked, but he is not a beast. He's a side-show that gets hired when someone in Japan needs an entertaining win. Khachab is a very good fighter. I saw him for the first time recently, and he was fighting at 330lbs, heavier than these two clips showed him! But he still had very good hands, and threw knees and jump-kicks as well. Anyone know if the Klitchko - Fury fight was the only time Klitchko was the shorter fighter in any of his fights? The biggest upset shown here, in my opinion, was Ruiz defeating Joshua. Not many thought that would happen, especially a TKO.
Excellent ! :)
That Ruiz bout will haunt Anthony Joshua for the rest of his days. Seriously embarrassing!
true but anthony joshua got a rematch and won a little later
Counting his millions will enable him to live with it.
💯
Well he beat Ruiz and has continued to win. Ruiz isn’t winning.
Like a grown man who booed on himself on national television. Certain things won't go away
Fedor looked like a couch potato but had unreal hand speed
Roy Nelson and Mark Hunt just to add a couple more. They all look like a fat and out of shape neighbor, until they start to fight and knock some people out. LOL
He got old and lost like all of them do. Some of his wins were (interesting) to say the least.
I don't think him nd Tyson Fury belong on this list.
Fedor was in this video?
Boom the dude bounced 😂
Just because a man is fat doesn't mean he doesn't have muscles... You have to be able to carry this extra weight every day and you become a powerfull beast.
Butterbean was really impressive both for the strength of his punches and his uncanny ability to take them, when that actually happened... he even occasionally taunted his opponents to hurt their hands on his head. His punching strength and accuracy were so unfair for his opponents he reminded me of George "The Animal" Steele (WWF wrestling). The shaved head definitely did not help there.
Eich belonged in pro wrestling.
How about "Double Cheeseburger " DC?
The greatest example of a chunky champion is Butterbean and if he is not in the Hall of Fame he should be...
Weight is an actual advantage (up to a point). That's why we use weight categories instead of muscle mass categories even though we can count both.
For a sec there I thought you would omit Butterbean. Saved the best till the end I guess.
These hefty dudes move like Flyweights and they're quick with serious power behind their punches.
great viewing from an old man 75 next month . still young at heart .
Wishing you continued strength and vitality as you celebrate your 75th birthday next month! Keep embracing life with that youthful spirit. 🙏
Butterbean was probably the hardest hitter ever
Andy Ruiz rewrote that frickin' book! Mike Tyson said it best... Ruiz came to f**kin' FIGHT!
That’s why Steven Seagal is unbeatable 😂
luv this
0:58 those three lefts in a row, hell of a finish
Yasin was in Israel back in the day with his coach, an awesome guy. They came to pass a few Muay Thai sessions.
Can anyone really take Bob Sapp seriously? It's like he just voluntarily got hit so he could get TKO'd and collect his payout.
if you have the right amount of money, Sapp will take a fall for you as well. LOL
1:19 that was such a quick and clean hook.
That would be demoralizing hitting a guy and it feels like you're punching a 300 pound barrel of sand.
Great compilation
08:58-Which one is the 'fat guy'?
Tyson Fury, the bald guy. But he wasn't really fat in that fight indeed.
I watch this every time I feel like losing weight
Makes me feel better 😂
The reason for the loss is the fear of confrontation, bragging, arrogance, lack of fighting spirit, the desire to actually win, and the lack of experience resulting from training.🤨
The fact is while taller appoints have a reach advantage, shorter ones have a power advantage.
When a short fat guy throws a high kick to tall guy's temple and lands hard... WOW, respect!
Dude at 6:35 has two cheerleaders 😂
I had a friend in High School who wasn't that tall, about dead average, IIRC, around 5'8". He weighed over 300 pounds. He was an Anchor on our Cross Country team, and a running back on our FOOTBALL!!! team. He was also a Ballerino, and no one in the schooled ever made fun of that. Again. People forget that every step a Big Person takes IS Weight Training.
Jeez that ring is massive.
Klitchko was the only decent boxer Fury has ever fought....
But the best clip was when Fat little Ruiz battered AJ and made AJ quit
The powr comes from the weight.
True.
Only when there is no weight limit. Likw superheavyweight olympic and power lifters, each added kg of fat actually adds power. Its to do with the " folow " in the nervous system. When there is a weight limit, higher fat % reduces capacity.
@@bigfletch8 Thnx for the technical side.
@@bigfletch8Basic physics. Force = Mass x Acceleration. Butterbean and Ruiz as both good examples of this, heavy guys with fast hands.

Daniel Cormier was a pudgy short 265 lb wrestler that absolutely dominated the HW division. At only 5’11” he was way undersized. He only dropped to LHW because his teammate & training partner Cain Velasquez was UFC HW champ at the time. He still moved back up to HW later to capture the belt. Fedor Emelianenko is considered the MMA HW GOAT and was a pudgy unimposing man at 235 lb and 6’0”… much smaller than most in the division and someone that could have probably trimmed down to LHW. He had a 10 year run of dominance at HW and beat the best names of the sport at the time. Physique can be deceiving. There are quite many HWs that do not have the body of a figurine.
Dc is actually 5'9 which makes it even more impressive
Butterbean was no joke...that guy was vicious.
"I have been training you for six months you are getting bigger but the wrong way, what's up, are you following my Diet?" My amazement at the speed of large animals like bears and Hippopotamuses' as seen on youtube only lasted for a few weeks, then I figured it out, they are used to carrying that weight, they may not move fast all the time, but they are capable of it. I did not see any xx-xx-xx career cards so I'm guessing they were mostly "bouncers" who could take a punch and fought a very few times. There are no 20 -03 -02 's in the crowd.
Take that Weight Watchers !
Bob Sapp would get knocked out in a pillow fight
I was going to ask…has anyone ever seen Bob Sapp win a fight?😂
He actually beat a couple legit fighters. Look up his record
No doubt man, PeeWee Herman could kick his ass.
ROIDS don't help you win a fight, there's lots at the gym who think B/C there big and on the JUICE nothing can stop them.
That was the entertainment of it. No fighter who lost that much could have kept a job after all those losses. All fight sports kinda have a Rocky King. (Wrestling 80s, always lost, last name King😂). In the UFC, it's Dereck Brunson😂😂
I can imagine it’s huge bets on the fights to take the fall.
Every week in the NFL you see a fat left tackle dominate a ripped 275lb edge rusher.
Pure physics equation works: force = weight x speed
Force = mass x acceleration. Weight itself is a force.
@@SherlockHo1mes Force = mass x acceleration, but this is the force needed to accelerate, so the force required from the boxer. The reason why a big guy can hit hard is a different formula: Momentum = mass x velocity.
@@pbtube58 I was just correcting the equation. I know it is impulse that is relevant in this case.
Pros: punches using the right motion have huge power. The bodyfat protects your body. Cons: in a battle of attrition your body will be exhausted faster
Never underestimate beer-powered bellies 😂
My first fight was against a big boy. Thought it would be an easy fight, but boy, was I wrong. He charged in faster than I expected and thrashed me. The only way I could secure a win was my range and cardio.

Explosive power can't be gained in a gym. It can be polished and/or maintained there, but you need to be born with it first.
Sammo Hung, Butterbean, Tyson Fury are some prime examples.
