Innsbruck in the Tyrol must be the most beautiful approach for anywhere. Between the alps and such a little runway. Every time I have been the pilots have received a round of applause!
One of the absolute best views in Europe and one of the most intense approaches I have ever done flying a 737. So rewarding to see but you have to be on your game every sec as the pilot landing so your eyes are glued to your cockpit and you don’t see nearly enough of it coming in lol
Only one drawback, can’t get the big boys in there, but taking off into the Alps with high incline and banking is gorgeous.
Yes agree - fantastic scenery on the way in. As with Chambery, prone to low cloud so planes get diverted!
@@ravensrulzaviation you’d be surprised, Innsbruck is considered an international airport and I’ve flown and been flown in 737 and the wider 767 but yea you def won’t see a Dreamliner or triple 7 or 380 flying in there that’s for sure.

Thank you for taking the time to produce these landings, I find them very interesting, especially with the captions explaining the procedural steps, very cool!! Having just the sound of the plane and the alerts for the procedures is really nice, it really does help promote how much concentration is happening in the flight deck......I think I prefer landings, we get a nicer view as you are approaching the destination and more is happening for a longer period of time when in the air, or so it seems......
It gives a complete other point of view of this place for someone working here. I love it, thanks for sharing this

Thanks Michelle that took me back to about 1976 from when I dimly recall landing an RAF Andover C Mk 1 (HS 748 Twin turbo prop) military transport at LFML. I don't remember there being parallel runways in those days and we were on the opposite QDM (Maybe 22 or maybe not; so long ago). I had forgotten really that we were landing at such a beautiful place and had to concentrate to avoid distraction on finals as being so close to that lovely beach took me by surprise! No idea now where we were coming from except I seem dimly to remember it may have been Cyprus or somewhere in Turkey. I do enjoy occasionally getting brief reminders of my time in aviation and it's great to have that opportunity via your excellent videos. Thanks again: do keep up the good work.

What a delight to see someone who really loves their job, the Isle of Man is an island in the Irish Sea and I always liked it’s approach as you’re coming in over the sea and in front of you on approach is these lovely big cliffs and on a good day you can see Scotland, England, Wales and most important of all Ireland, great post as usual , keep them coming

Infact this flight to Nice was very enjoyable. When you landed at Nice Airport. I did not feel a thing. You also look great in your uniform, not only that, you look very smart too. Very „nice“ indeed! The relatively high Minimums Level is unusual, but understandable for this type of approach and the terrain given! Keep up the great work. I especially like the „background info“ text-explanations you are adding to your videos. It would be great, however, if we could hear more of ATC communication as well in future videos!
Perhaps the high minimum level is explain by the proximity with high profile residential area ? Plus you already come quite close from the city anyway. Too bad we didn't had more outside view during the landing procedure. As Nice's airport has been gained on the sea as passenger it's feels like you will land in the water instead of the track ! Evenmore so on the right track. I second your remark : text-explanations are great but we are missing the cockpit discussion and the ATC comms to really understand all the procedures that secure the operations and makes flying safe.
