OMG, you just single handedly blew the the camera comparison of the all the famous youtubers . I mean super saf, Marquis, mr whose the boss and all . Game on girl !
Wow that's a compliment if I've ever seen one! 🤩 Thanks a lot!
I agree ..i have just met you and this channel and i am getting subscribed asap.. you are the real deal.
I like how she did this.
That's why I tell people to look up reviews from professional photographers and videographers. You'll get a more precise and detailed expertise opinion
Nice one keep it up
Definitely liking the versus channel! Awesome comparison! And nice explanations where the phones struggle. This gives me a good indication of where i shouldn't be using the portrait video. Thank you!
One of the most detailed n Short comparisons on KZhead.
What camera you used for the introduction video?
I've watched dozens of videos looking for a real comparison and I finally found it. Thanks for being the only one to make a decent comparison. Gained a follower
Thank you for comparing these two phone’s cinematic modes. The only thing you left out was identifying which “f-stop” you were selecting. While not a real f-stop it is an indication of just how aggressively the software will mask and blur the image. Most folks working with an iPhone use a setting of f-4 or f-5.6 to avoid crazy masking issues. I’m clueless about the Galaxy… but thanks again for this thoughtful piece!
can you test the xperia 1 v as im intersted how that would look compare to these and a dslr
That's what I want to see these type of top tier phone against a real digital camera to see which one come close thanks excellent video
Great comparison, Most phones just suck at cinematic video ( In terms of bokeh ). Its much smarter to just shoot normal video on a phone and use compositional techniques and other ways to make the video cinematic without the background blur
How do i get started with the description and what to do
Damn the cinematics 🧍🔥
Love both camera's cinematic views. How fast the technology is evolving
This video is so good considering the fact how fairly you treated both devices. No exaggeration, simply facts.
that's the video i was looking for ... awesome job....
Great video! You addressed many of my questions, I'm getting the s24 Ultra soon so I wanted to know these things. thank you!
So you are going with s24 U?
Wow, you were ready and out the door in 30 seconds, speedy !
Just what i wanted to look into. Best comparison ever... I was having portrait videos issue with my S24 ultra . Hope it gets better with updates...
Are there any changes? There was a mistake when filming this girl, has it been fixed?
Does the portrait video issue fixed by the update or still there mate?
Nice video can the lumix send text messages ? I've seen video shot on phones look as good as camera footage,
Finally a detailed practical demo of both phones capabilities in this regard, no extra fluff. Thanks.
I was wondering how a 1 inch sensor device like the Vivo X100 Pro will perform against this two devices on cinematic mode. It won't be bad to make a video will it?
From Japan. This was the most helpful comparison verification video I've ever seen! Since you were using LUMIX as well as your smartphone, it was very easy to see the difference! I subscribed to your channel! Thank you!
This is really one of those top Flagship smartphones camera review, I’ve ever seen. Good job!!👏👏👏🎉
Wonderful comparison 🔥
Would love to see 5x portraits and zoom
I have taken photo by Ip15pro Max..How to zoom at clear pixel.? Help me.
Who is waiting to win the galaxy s 23 ( + and ultra) 🎉
Wrong phone bot
Oh wait They are the same thing 😂
I am
I am here 😢
Me
great comparison. I go for Xperia 1 V.
What's the details of the Lumix camera?? Model name?
I mean, thank you. Great video. Great lighting in the studio. One thing I understood from this is that phones should not be advertised as a camera. I mean, look at the usability of a device and look if it suits your needs and if you have to give up the cinematic mode give it up. I mean how many times do you even use it?
Can you do 5x portrait comparison on both
Seeing this video, opened my mind. Thank you, the video comparison is very good.😍
Girl you just earned another sub. Really good content.
Can you do this again once the feb update comes out on s24 ultra?
I luv your review You weren't biased Kudos 👏
Thank you for sharing!
Wow it is so good like it was captured from a proper cinema camera 😮
The winner is not the samsung its not the iphone either its you watching this 💖
😮😂❤
You are thristy
Let's check it out.
Superb cinematic 🎥🎞️
Would never recommend using cinematic mode. I only ever use pro video on the s23 ultra because it has the most natural blur. Shot a whole 30 minute film project for it for our class, got top place 🎉
Yeah idk how ppl can use portrait video mode the software isn't capable yet
May I ask, does it also work with selfie-camera? I'm considering buying S24 Ultra mainly to shoot better talking head videos but if it can't create natural-looking bokeh anyway then maybe not worth the money. I do have Canon M50 with 2.0 lens which works great but sometimes I need to shoot on the phone, when I'm on the go, so I don't carry camera with me. Would appreciate your feedback. I know that S23 and S24 should be similar in this regard.
@@UldisBiz Yup, the s23 ultra is capable of shooting pro video using the front camera. It does also have a natural looking bokeh, however, not as good as it would if you were to use the back main camera (of course) as it is in f1.7 while the front facing camera is only f2.2 (not sure if they have the same apertures as the s24u though)
@@Violet_Evergarden perfect, thank you for taking the time to reply. I guess I will then tinker with Pro settings as I really want a little bit of bokeh (I understand it's a phone so sensors aren't as big as in dedicated cameras) but these 'cinematic' modes in phones typically look very artificial.
You’re so pretty but sometimes samsung makes you look even prettier, maybe because of over exposure 😅 it gives bloom effects. And aside from that iphone has better fps but in quality both the same at least for me. ❤
just awesome keep up the good work
is a great review..... you work hard
Why is it called cinematic video anyway? I think Samsung uses a more correct term: portrait video.
Both are need more improvement with software update specially on cinematic mode🧐🧐🧐
Nice job. And I shoot my videos on a gopro hero 2.
Good comparison .both of them are good in their ways 😊
I love Samsung but I gotta admit , Apple's Cinematic mode is amazing
Superb Review Thanq..
I like the galaxy and it wins here. Can you try with Xperia 1 V cinematic mode Mrs🙏🙏
But, the Samsung DIDNT win here… iPhone blew it away.
lets be real elisham, samsung most definitely did NOT win
lmao Keep glitching with "galaxy"
@@robhughes8516 not true mr
@@feels3401 am using Sony tho🥱
For closeup shots, the amount of blur that comes naturally with de phones sensors is good enough to use this fake cinematic mode. thanks for the vid!
great point there..
Wow very informative video ❤❤❤ watching from philippines
Is there any camera under 1200$ with full components?
Amazing comparison
An excellent comparison and quite useful. While traditional DSLRs currently reign supreme, I anticipate that within the next two to three years, advancements in AI technology will enable smartphones to closely resemble professional cameras in terms of cinematic capabilities.
Spannend 😊interessant. Zum Glück ist Fotografie ja - die Bewertung dessen: subjektiv. Dennoch ist es so oder so interessant wie zugleich faszinierend, was die Hersteller alles möglich machen.
Very nice comparison..
Firstly, what's with iPhone and the orange color. Second, S24U is more true to Life but sometimes over exposed. And finally, Amazing video. I love everything about it. You just earned a follow. ❤
It’s good to see that Samsung has come this far way in terms of camera features, which is awesome but you all are aware of that when Apple do things their way, it always come out to make it’s way to the top of shelf in competition, both are beast phones in the world at the moment 🏆
Honestly, I think neither phones are there yet in terms of cinematic. Either invest on an actual camera or just use the standard camera modes.
The phones work differently in different test scenarios and subjects. Furthermore, this video is a test on cinematic mode only. If you want to shoot cinematic video with bg blur, dont use a phone. Do not forget the iphone can shoot in prores log but if you are not into color grading then both phones will work well. Ps-skin tone on the iphone is better in the normal video mode
Cant wait to get my hands on the s24 ultra
Both amazing phones! They have came so far, i remember getting my first Iphone 3g and thinking i was on top of the world lol, now the 15 pro max and its like a whole new world! Dropped a sub, love your work and dedication!
great comparison
Love this video and great comparison. Samsung is closing the gap on video. iPhone had always been well ahead of all androids but even pixel and some of the Chinese brands are on its heels now.
What model is the limux please?
More important what lens is used, because all mirrorless cameras since 2015 can do super sharp 4k/30, some of them cost 1/4 or less than iphone.
If you want cinematic video use manual settings. Lock exposure, whitebalance and apply 180 rolling shutter. For extra buy ND filter or extra lenses. Background blur is most of the time too much and unnatural
The first good comment I have read here. 😊
The best comparison I've ever seen. 😮
Please do it again now that the major update is out on the S24 ultra.
Wow the intro was so good! Who is this good looking cat???🐈
And here's me waiting to lay my eyes upon that beautiful object in video ❤️
Aww thank you 😊
What model of Lumix is ?
I'm interested too :)
W comparison video ❤
i like the brutal honesty of this it dunks on both of them which is refreshing lol
It doesn't "dunk" on both when the iphone flops she says "a tad" when the samsung flops she says horrifying 😂 Or how she says edge detection on the samsung is a disaster but same as the iphone but calls it "struggling" then moves past the flaws and starts complimenting it again😂 The entire thing is made so a to give the illusion that she is pointing flaws of both but she is just hyping up the 15pm
She is nitpicking... Those "glitches" in stabilization are edited because it's impossible to get that effects constantly... She trying to make one look bad af😅
You should compare it by switching off the HDR on the Iphone
Wow truly professional
I think post production is better for both cellphones
if it blurred out the moles it would have done a great job
koi ya btoo k I phon 15 pro max may cinematic may ktna maximum zoom hota ha
#galaxy24ultra❤
Check out Chinese phones that have these feature. I have the Vivo X100 pro and the Vivo V29 5G and they surprisingly dont have ANY FORM of edge detection issues. I watched this video to the end, rushed out to take my x100 pro and test out the 4K30 cinematic mode. It doesn't have these issues, especially in telephoto close ups. Anyone seen this?
Add a pro camera in all of your comparison. It helps
Love from India 🇮🇳 ♥ keep it up
Lumix is a god. But I think the s24 ultra colour bring consistent with the lumix is a good one to go for
iphone clearly looked much better
Samsung ones are more closer to color than iphone, even though iphone looks more eyes pleasing..@@NeapoIitan
I love Samsung all the way, cinematic or non-cinematic 🎉😅❤
Quality content 🔥🔥
Both are good 😊 camera But camera comparatively 1by1 plus or minus 😂 DSLR is always cinematic king 👑
Samsung has had a march update now so thats two updates i wonder how it compares since launch
Samsung is a great phone but speaking of camera being integration it's just out of line, why can't the software work hand in hand with the hardware, must it always have a problem?
software update next vedeo test
I like the the intro...
It’s a comparison of two best
I feel like Azula is the one giving comparison of apple and samsung because you sound like her 😂😂 on the side note: amazing comparison though 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I kind of find it funny that different reviews have different verdicts and results. Like am i being tricked or what? Nevertheless. Awesome comparison and skills
Excellent ❤❤❤
I obviously can't wait my s24 ultra
Both the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra have their own flaws. Their software are good but still has a long way to catch up to a professional cinematic camera. I hope the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max will have a bigger sensors instead of more pixels for its cameras. And once again, i hope the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a main cam with variable aperture f1.4 to f4.0.
I see how s24 ultra cinematic trash
Samsung need more update!! Which I agreed S24 ultra in my hand of course it's need more enchant😅😅 On lens switching it's glitch every time I zoom out or in too
Long awaited video... Samsung has finally won my heart but still am still gonna admit iPhone nails it in video
