Do you have any opinions on the DJI gimbal app? I have the OM5 and wondering if I can use that for more options vs Black Magic app. Or do you recommend testing both?

  • Nice video, I love the filming and editing tips, but I think the grading process can be so much easier using Resolve. I turn on color management, drop the footage, and automatically its now back in a normal space (Rec709 or Rec2020), then I can focus on what creative look I want to put on top of the accurately, mathematically converted footage. I really love this workflow, you can use the external SSD, shoot your footage, plug the SSD into the iPad (or laptop), drop the footage, and its converted automatically, and as opposed to using a LUT, the tone and gamut mapping is still within my control.

    • Thank you!! Yes for sure, they are created to work for both, if you shoot prores you just need to add another lut first, so even easier with the normal colours in native camera app
