I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who can walk out on stage and make that many people laugh like crazy. Talent like that isn’t made. It’s born.
If he's born with it, why should he receive respect for it? I would rather say he has worked hard on his passion, and that is worthy of respect.
All comedians work hard to make audiences laugh. He writes his shows, he doesn't improvise. To suggest that this is just talent and not hard work is an insult to the artist.
He has both!
No one has made me laugh as much as this guy. He’s brilliant.
Actually it is worth trying to create a stand-up routine for yourself as an insight inducing learning experience. It is hard work & takes practise. It took me a couple of years practise to be able to create any decent ones.
His observations are things I don't even think about but once he points them out, I find myself thinking ' yeah I do that, why do I do that? 'or 'I know someone like that'. I I would watch him over any alternative edgy comedian. He's the master of observational comedy.
Absolutely agree. He doesn't need to be "edgey" or offensive to be funny. That's the mark of a really talented comic
@@AJBeetle1 That's what I think too. It's easy just to throw in swear words and talk about anything disgusting or uncomfortable to get laughs. But harder to make everyday situations funny.

If you've just discovered this guy, you have to look up the one where he's had tooth surgery and gone completely numb in the mouth. I laughed so hard, I almost wet myself. The Brits have the best stand-up comedians anywhere in my opinion, and this guy is at the very top of my list.

I'm a secretary and I get this all the time, I'm slightly dyslexic with numbers I'll often switch numbers round without realising it and then I get people rattling off a number and for the same number they'll group one section and separate another and I'm just there pressing my pen into my pad in despair

I didn't get a cell phone til I was in my 40s. Just over ten yrs ago. So I forget to plugh it in, I forget what the ring tone sounds like, I wander off everywhere without it. I completely forget that other people may want to talk to me. I have a lovely Samsung that I can just barely figure out how to make a call from. Still figuring out how to ANSWER the thing. And I slavishly keep ALL the tickets, FOR YEARS. Because you just never know.

well you see there's a big green button and a big red button, and if you look closely there is a dotted line in which arrows point toward the center of the line, now we've all seen an answer picture and hang up picture, the hang up one tends to have a circle with a cross through it and the answer one is just a phone, when you go to answer the phone, you want to use the arrows as an advantage to press whichever button you please, hold it down, but not too hard, touchscreens are sensitive, and you just swipe the icon to the center of the line and boom you've made it. BONUS FACT: if you look at almost the top of the screen, you will see the name of the person calling you, not just a number, so long as you've named the contact, you will know who's calling you so you will know whether you want to answer or how you should answer, if there's no name and it says 'Sheffield' or any other city or state DON'T answer it unless you want to waste 5 minutes if your life

I'm exactly the same with my phone. My husband pities it, because it's left behind, goes uncharged for weeks, and I keep forgetting how to make a text, make a call or answer it. I just randomly press buttons until it shuts up. Sometimes, my son and husband try to instruct me on how to use it - and that's when I turn into Eddie from Frasier, and all I hear is 'Blah Blah Blah' and 'Yadda Yadda Yadda.'
