CHATEAU GIFT OPENING OF GEMS, GOWNS & CRYSTAL GLASSES!
In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZhead earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

In 1969, I migrated from Jamaica to the USA flying on PAN AM (Pan American Airlines). My first visit/holiday back was in summer of 1970, flying on Air Jamaica. I experienced the beautiful ladies/attendants modeling the clothes. This brought back great memories for me. Thank you. Happy Birthday, Yvonne!

I always find it so amazing when someone sends clothing that it ends up fitting like a glove! These dresses are SO BEAUTIFUL and Stephanie and Nati look gorgeous in them! All of the gifts were splendid beyond compare, but the dresses really ROCK!

In 1972 on our honeymoon we traveled on Air Jamaica and witnessed the mid flight fashion show! It was an added pleasure to the start of our new married life.

The cranberry decanters and stoppers, should have a number inscribe in the base of the stopper and the a same number inside the neck of the corresponding decanter.

The red bohemian glass is Egermann in the Stag and Castle pattern. Yes, Czechoslovakia is where it is made.
I have to correct this...not Czechoslovakia, but Bohemia. Czechoslovakia doesn't exist from January 1993, manufacture is exactly in Novy Bor, Czech republic. And from 2021 is in insolvency, so before long her products will be rare.

This episode of Cado is the major reason I watch. Not just that you get stunning gifts, but that you are truly stunned and joyful by the giving of others. While I, like you, love some of the new gifts bestowed on you in Cado - It is the old or vintage antiques, treasures that really are the most amazing. It cost quite a bit to send it all from the USA, even using the Post Office with tracking, the least expensive way. I’d guess it cost $300-$400 to ship, and that’s without add-on insurance beyond the automatic $200 per box.
The scarfs are beautiful they could double up as table covers or runners for a sumptuous dinner party xx
