Check out this basic build of an oak sleeper workbench!

I am about to build a bench. Cannot face paying £250+ for a lightweight skinny topped bench. I want mass. I hate timber yards - they treat non-trade like fools.
So at £26 a piece these seemed like a steal to me, I’ll explain it more in chp2 - but ended up getting them delivered new from a local reclamation company, worth checking out! Ended up with a nice 4” top on it as well. Good luck with your bench build!
