2 Days of Winter Bird Photography - Dipper, Gear and Campfire

2024 ж. 16 Сәу.

I am spending two days by a small stream doing bird photography, and this time it is the White-throated dipper I am after. I have to try different strategies to get close to this little shy bird, but it all really pays off.

  • So delighted to enjoy another one of your fantastic videos Morten, it's felt like such a long time since your last one. Dippers are one of my favorite birds, and I have spent many hours watching and photographing them and I'm always hoping to get that "perfect shot" . I don't know about you but when I'm watching/ photographing Dippers I find myself "dipping" / bobbing up amd down with the Dipper😂. Thamk you for another fantastic video

I find the same sensations that run through me on each photo outing, this serenity that we feel in contact with nature, this excitement of the privileged encounter with the living. You are an excellent ambassador of the need to live in harmony with nature, well done and thank you again for sharing these special moments. Arnaud from France

I really missed being lost in such beautiful serenity through your videos. Thanks for coming back with another excellent video and brought your viewers into another peaceful nature photography. I always love to see your deep love for each and every component of nature. I love to see your campaign and simplicity of life. Stay blessed ❤

  • Glad you didn't the same mistake as last time, when you almost drop your gear into water when photographing a dipper :) I was so inspired by this video, that i made my own groundpod and i was luck to find kingfishers burrow and yesterday i had the best time with this bird when shooting photos. I've made my first youtube video, where i also end with heavy rain and soaked clothes, but it was worth it :) Morten, you are my role model - such an inspiring person. Greetings from Poland, Morten

He is always so happy to be out with you. I understand he is 13 years old now but he seems to be going well. Enjoy every minute you can with him. My little camp and photography buddy stayed with me for 14 years. She has been gone for ten years now and I still miss her. I'mm looking forward to your next outdoor experience.

  • Hello Morten, finally some content from you again. It's just nice to see how you celebrate your way of photography, your enthusiasm for nature and the animals, a coffee or tea is of course a must and your explanations of animal behavior are worth their weight in gold. You immediately make me want to grab my camera and lens and go out into nature, even though I was already out with my camera and my dog for 2 hours this morning. Thank you so much. Best wishes Michael

  • Hey Morten, what a wonderful, relaxing and inspiring video! I already watched it like 5 times to be honest! It somehow reminded me of your older films from 3-4 years ago and I really love it. As a longtime follower I would love to ask you for one thing - it would be so lovely if you could still implement some of the music you used in your older videos. Those older tracks really complimented your films so well and they are so close to my heart. I often go back to your older films just to watch you wandering around the forest with a camera and listen to those wonderful, peaceful tracks, you certainly know what I mean 😊 I love that simplicity. I wish you all the best and thank you for another great story! I believe there are many ahead! 😊

It's feet, beak and shape says nothing that it likes to be in the water as it does. I enjoyed listening to your thinking about how you can do things differently. Thank you for sharing. Really enjoy you videos.
