My Daily Life as a Professional Wildlife Photographer
Hi everyone! I have been on a few assignments in different countries doing wildlife photography and I have also been busy with my projects here on my little farm.
It has been such a busy winter and spring for me, which is also the reason why I haven't shared a whole lot with you.
It is now spring in Denmark and as always there is so much to do. I sometimes wish I could divide myself into 5 Mortens so that I could photograph on 3 different locations at once and at the same time take care of the live stream, discover new locations, put up bird boxes and all the other things that I would like to do. Well I guess we all know that feeling.
This video is a bit different. It is not only about wildlife photography but also about some of all the other projects I am working on.
So rather than being wildlife photography behind the scenes, you might call it The Wildlife Photographer Behind the scenes - or The Daily Life of a Wildlife Photographer.

Nature conservation is very close to my heart.
I have served in the Danish military special unit, the Sirius Patrol, for two years which has given me the skills and confidence to operate alone in the arctic regions.

Thank You Morten, so nice to have you back. I live in northern New England US, and am a retired dairy farmer doing what I have had a passion for since a youth, wildlife photography. Thank you for all the training you have shared over the years and I can relate to your passion. The first barn swallows I have seen were this week. We have lots of tree swallows around the farm they use a lot of the bluebird boxes that I put up. It is so busy now on the farm with a big garden being planted now!
Nice to hear that there's other farmers out there that love playing with cameras too.
Wonderful video! I love spring. For me the sound of the blackbird singing in the evening is the start of spring, but I enjoy the swallows as well. Really nice to see a bit of your daily life. Would love to see more of it. Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks for such an interesting video. I've watched many of your other videos, and this one is a bit different - but in a good way! I didn't know about your live stream until now, and I'm going to be addicted to watching it. I struggle to get out with my camera these days, so it's nice to be able to kick back in my own office and watch wildlife almost as if I'm there. A couple of times already, I've felt the need to reach for my camera when something shows up in the video, before I realise I'm still at home watching a screen!

Thanks,Morten. I so enjoy your videos. I have been doing wildlife photography, as a hobby, mostly birds, for 2 and a half years now, and I am loving it. This afternoon, I was happy to work with a local gallery which has given me some space to show some of my photos. This is my first time with dedicated gallery space. What a thrill to set up the photos this afternoon, and then come home to get more inspiration from your video. It is spring time here in Maine, and I revel in all the birds returning, the wildflowers and newly leafed out trees, … each day brings new things to see, appreciate, and photograph.
