In primary school so many of my friends were just trying to summon bloody mary in the school bathroom and trying to get their hands on an ouija board. That shit was wild

    • In 3rd or 4th grade me and my friends convinced ourselves that there was a demon locked up behind the backdoor of the sports equipment room, and we'd sit outside the door everyday during recess trying to communicate with it. This was also the same year all the girls in our grade were spinning around in the school bathroom trying to summon Bloody Mary and Candyman. We were all suddenly really into the occult. The phase is very real lol

    @sofiav7392@sofiav73924 ай бұрын
    • would've been such a slam dunk if the actor was actually part of the deaf community and not a hearing guy playing a deaf part, but given the 2000s of it all I would've been more surprised if he actually was deaf 😅. Weirdly, even though "you don't sound deaf" is absolutely a crazy thing to say, the vocal tones and enunciations that are characteristic of some deaf people's speaking voice is actually called a deaf accent! Handy for anyone to know if they ever feel a bit unsure on how to go about mentioning that, because "deaf accent" is the actual name but it's sort of like the name "little people" I guess - if you don't know about the community's preferred language and you earnestly don't want to offend but you don't know the wording to use, it could sound offensive in your head but that's the actual name. lol.

Even when I tell people I'm struggling, they'll be like "doesn't seem like you're struggling to me". Her saying "you don't sound deaf" was for real the most realistic part of that entire movie

  • As a girl who loved Bratz growing up, I have decided that The Cheetah Girls is actually the best representation of live action Bratz dolls. A diverse group girls living in an urban setting who are tight knit due to their music group, but still have their own interests and backgrounds. Their differences/competing interests causes strife between them in organic ways (not like just choosing to sit at different lunch tables lol), but ultimately prioritize their friendship in the end. In the sequels, they have international adventures. The characters are pretty comparable to the Bratz: Galleria = Sasha, Dorinda = Chloe, Chanel = Yasmin, Aqua = Jade? (Aqua isn't Asian though, and she's the most underdeveloped character of the group, so she's kinda the odd one out.) Would be interesting to have had The Cheetah Girls (2003) vs. Life-Size (2000) - a fairer match up I think! Bratz live action should have been compared Life-Size 2 because that one is trash lol

  • Why was the Bratz live action a better "Rock Angelz" movie than "Bratz Rock Angelz?" Also, as someone with a dead parent, that "get over it already" is something I've actually been told.. its brutal

  • Lindsey Lohan really was a phenomenal child actress, ive always loved life sized and she really does ground that movie at her young age it’s crazy😭 Also, Sasha in the Bratz movie saying to Cloe, “you don’t have a dad! or a bank account” has stayed with me since the dayyy i first saw it💀😂 like that girl is not your friend, she had that too ready

    • Lindsey Lohan really is phenomenal would be a better way to put it, also I think the reason Sasha had that so ready would be because it was in the script that she had to read for the movie
