MILKY WAY GHETTO HAD ME SCREAMING 😂😂😂
They weren’t wrong 😂😂
I felt that line in my soul 😅😂😂
It's funny because Xavier is literally based on Martin lurther King, and magneto is Malcom x look it up .
I mean, is it not accurate tho? 🤣😂😅
@@nicholasgarrick8855 he’s. It originally because magneto was originally a straight up villian hee been rewritten several times and while that’s the relationship that’s developed it’s not the one originally intended at all despite the X-men overall always being an allegory for civil rights
They are putting respect on storm in this series
🤍🤍🤍
Yes they are!!!!
We love to see it.
Storms OP
Ya dam Skippy
One of my favorite things about this episode is Xavier's most powerful gift. It isn't his telepathy. It's his gift as a teacher. I think that is so awesome.
His very good teacher
I love the fact that mutants other than Wolverine are the main focus
I said the same thing
He doesn't have to be the main focus of the entire series
Because he’s getting his spotlight this summer
What@@tristianhikuta1917
@@tristianhikuta1917he always gets the spotlight
My jaw dropped when gladiator appeared ,and he was so OP as faithful to the comics cant wait to see more of him.
Yeah, he was badass. His fighting style is animated so uniquely from other characters with similar skill sets, Rouge specifically.
well he took out juggernaut with one hit in the original series
I loved his exchange with Xavier
I mean he is literally a pastache of superman/Lar Grand/superboy
Milky Way Ghetto was a WILD thing to say Deathbird lol
But also accurate 😂
...I mean was it though? 😂
While Vestigial Wings mostly disappeared in modern Shi'ar, some were genetic throwbacks, such as Deathbird.[12] For that throwback, Deathbird was considered a mutant.[13]
I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Deathbird being called a pigeon was hilarious too, Beau seriously understood the assignment 💯❤️🔥💯
I don't think Xavier was "sent" a message by anyone, or "watching" everyone from afar. I think he just felt the massive psychic reverb of a million lives getting burnt out of existence. With that came echoes of what they were doing preceding their deaths.
A great disturbance in the Force -- er, the Astral Plane.
Yeah, it gave me order 66 vibes for sure!
@@dhirenpatel5255 or Alderaan
Yeah... but how can he without using Cerebro? If he is so powerful, he wouldn't need Cerebro and I guess that is not the case 😌
@@AlessioAlessi It's probably because his consciousness is in the Astral Plane rather than in his body, thereby amplifying his receptiveness.
Honestly Storm’s VA did an amazing job with the Adversary! I didn’t even do they were the same voice actor until I looked at the credits but looking back on it it’s just obvious enough for it to make sense story wise while also being a fantastic performance in its own right!
Si
Like a inner demon made flesh, made real.
When Storm came back with a full head of hair 😍
Answer OG costume! (Love your name by the way, brilliant lol)
My heart stopped

@@FantasticExplorers thank you!
Storms transformation was amazing. The build up for the future episodes was amazing and looking forward to what comes next!
Josh Brolin is a nexus being as he's Thanos and cable
And Chris Evans
Makes sense
And Aaron Taylor-Johnson 😆
Nexus beings are the same in every universe
@@postsniper-7532he was saying it as a joke broski
I dont think that Magneto is dead... Thats why Gambit showed up instead of Magento...
Oh shit. That makes sense!
Maybe his son (Quicksilver) saved him like in X-Men Evolution.
Apparently Rogue's voice actress did confirmed that Magneto survived
Charles would've definitely felt Magneto's loss. I think they're setting it up for Magneto's vengeful return.
@@vic8422this! I literally said “uh-oh,” regarding magneto. He was proven right in his mind once again.
So from what I can tell, gladiator is just purple Superman with a mow hawk.
Gladiator is one of a handful of Marvel versions of superman. Him and Hyperion come the closest. Gladiator's actual name is Kallark ie Kal-El + Clark.
@sliferxxxx true, but his actual personality and loyalties are nothing like Superman though.
I'm good with it.
@user-xp3mn9we3m I know that but his powers are based on superman. Ditto Hyperion
like Sentry , Hyperion and Blue Marvel
Bishop was also gone from the opening credits after he returned to the future!
What's really weird is Charles wasn't there! You would think this would be the first episode where he WOULD be in the opening credits!
Good catch.
@@FantasticExplorersI took that as he was not with the X-Men officially as Storm came back this episode yet was not in the credits
Love how this is more mature than original was
Well it's not on Fox kids anymore😂
"Noooo, they were dancing, drinking wine, making love!!" Wild line forealz, Professor X!
It's straight from the comics! I don't remember which story arc.
@@FantasticExplorers it's from essentially the same arc, E Is For Extinction, when Xavier senses the millions of deaths in Genosha.
After finding out the Shi'ar are descended from birds, I think thier "goofy hair" is because its not hair but made out of feathers. I think that would also explain why the phoenix symbol has the indents in it as welll.
While Vestigial Wings mostly disappeared in modern Shi'ar, some were genetic throwbacks, such as Deathbird.[12] For that throwback, Deathbird was considered a mutant.[13]
Gambit is coming back as death from the four Horseman
does he come back to life after that? or does he die once again?
@@austindaniels4827 Probably alive
@@austindaniels4827well in the comics, he comes alive again because of rogue and few other x-men
@@darkneon5637 bingo 👍
@@markpjf85 perfect, then that’s what they should do. i have a feeling Sinister is working with Apocalypse anyway
"Maybe I'm just reading into it" -That's your job, king. Keep doing what you're doing.
Ahem…..that backwater planet Earth repelled Galactus twice and is the home of the Sorcerer Supreme. Also home of the only three to defy The Beyonders
🔥🔥🔥
That's why Earth keeps getting attacked, the alien races see them an think: Challenge! Bring it! MCU Vision said it.😂
Ahhhh, it's jealousy 😂
That's because the entire Marvel Universe was created entirely by folks from here. I bet the real-life Shiar have comic book universes where everything important happens on their main planet. LOL.
@joe5923 Their comics only feature the Royal Guard and the spinoff books of each member. Their collectors are like "Oh this month's Gladiator is out. You saw how he hit that mutie Colossus last issue? He went flying." 😂
Vulcan (gabriel summers ) cyclops young brother is a huge amazing teaser that they can build on for a future arc.
Possibly for season 2?
I think the reason Charles sees Gambit and not Magneto is because he has more of a paternal relationship with Gambit. Sure, Magneto is his friend, but he views Gambit as one of his children, someone he feels need to protect.
Or because Magneto didn’t actually die
That or it's foreshadowing Gambit becoming Death for Apocalypse
@teerex1376 I think this is definitely a possibility. IMO, Gambit's too popular of a character to fully kill off.
I went back multiple times to hear Deathbird call our galaxy…..Le Ghetto 😂😂😂😂
As much as my fave childhood hero is Wolverine, i'm glad that they are focusing on other mutants backstory or forestory after the original series. Great Job Marvel!
He probably doesn’t have a title card because he hasn’t yet donned the Sunspot monicker or worn an X-Men suit or even join the X-Men yet
I don't think anyone can't say Gambits name without saying remember it now 🤣. From now on his name is "Gambit, Remember It" 🤣
“Hi, my name is Gambit, Remember It.” 😄
Gambit..........
Kinda cool how you guys and Rob from Comics Explained are catching me up on the history of everything. I learned from Rob that Charles saying "They were dancing. Drinking wine. Making love." was a direct quote from the comic.
The goddess has returned to form!
I liked how professor x sounded sassy talking with a cold blood killer alien princess
After this episode I feel like Charles put it in people's minds that he died
Milky Way ghetto is wild😂😂😂
24:16 a part of this line is straight from the comics, from the E is Extinction storyline. This is actually said during the Wild Sentinel Attack to Genosha.
With them introducing Vulcan I need to see Emperor Vulcan and Kingbreaker. We as well should see Scott, Alex, and Corsair interact with him.
“What is hunger but a lack of chipotle?” 🤣🤣💀💀
🤮
I think Roberto will get his own title card when he is named "Sunspot"
Its cool they reanimate all the okd stuff in the intro
Proff. X went full Mr. Feeny in this episode. gotta love it !
I believe Apocalypse is the mastermind of this attack. Bastion, Mr Sinister and Mystique are his henchmen
15:15 ish. Charles is referring to Shi'ar beliefs, he says: "I thought the Shi'ar considered art a form of insanity." He's not making "a dig" at them. He's referencing what the Shi'ar themselves have said about art in their texts. Gladiator then clarifies that this statue is the one exception to it all basically. Face your demons head on and you'll catch them off guard.
It's Professor X. And here he is doing what his nickname is supposed to mean: teaching and schooling. Love it.
That piegon diss was one of the best disses marvel has given us 😂😭 killed me
Nah,our solar system has been referred to as ghetto since the 80's 😂
Charles Xavier's walking armor is a 90s throwback. He wore a Shi'ar exoskeleton that he had previously gotten from Lilandra during Kubert and Nicieza's run of the X-Men comics (Fatal Attractions crossover), but wearing it actually exhausted his mental energy so he didn't use it that much except in outer space.
I am not sure if anyone else noticed, but at the very beginning there is an outline of the Watcher that is focused on before the battle starts.
Idk if I'm the only one that saw this, but frame one after the intro in the pink space, u can see the watcher's cloak facing away from the battle.
This episode was a blast. And what I love about your channel is that you put a focus on the topics of society, racism, equality when they appear in episodes as such and moreover care to elaborate on them 😊
Nightcrawler being added to the intro: Ballin' but at what cost? Also, Forge's mystical abilities (at least based in the comics) are rooted in him being a Native American shaman
The shiar cutting other planets down while offering to save them is a direct parallel to Forge talking about how the colonists set themselves up on native land just to genocide them.
I mean really it's from the Roman Empire to the American Empire. From thousands of years ago, down to right now!
@@FantasticExplorers I just meant in the context of this episode's script
The statue of Sharra and K'ythri that Xavier and Gladiator are standing in front of is from the 1995 miniseries "Starjammers" illustrated by the late great Carlos Pacheco. The animators even presented it in his distinct art style. Making me choke up two episodes in a row? Thanks, Marvel.
i see the Advisary as the Shadow, as described by Carl Gustov Yung that we ALL have. It is our darker side, our doubts, and fears that can limit us, and through facing that Shadow aka Shadow work, we can find strength and grow by facing that Shadow.. I butchered the premise, it is something I have read over the years and really helped me through my own demons and Shadow. Hands down some of the best writing i have sen in years and Emmy worthy, in my opinion
Whenever I hear “remember it”, cuz everyone keeps on saying, I think of “You can do it!” 😂 Rob Schneider
Lmao "you can do it" was my Quote of the Week this week 😂😂😂all my employees are under 25 so they didnt get the reference
@@SunshyneAThat's sad! I hope you shared that awesome film with them!

Charles should of wheeled in a tv n vcr to class and showed Xmen s1-s5
He would've had to put on his best Deadpool act but he's far too classy for that.
Not too classy to bark though
I think the Brimstone dimension is devoid of momentum, so all the speed from the solar system traveling through the galaxy is transferred with Nightcrawler which makes his movement through Brimstone space seem instantaneous when he's actually just covering an equal distance at break-neck speeds. Shiar are like pigeons in that they strut around like they own the place when they had nothing to do with constructing the city they feed off of: Vultures and chickens are far lower caste.
The introduction of Vulcan was the highlight for me🔥🔥🔥🔥
You done good marvel... You done good!
When Charles walks in for his first appearance, I literally thought it was Voldemort. 10:12
Been waiting patiently
Storm's speech about embracing your inner demons and accepting them reminded me a lot of the video game Celeste, and The Adversary is basically Badeline.
21:00 "We never lose our Demon's Strange, we only learn to live above them."
i've been waiting for this video all day!! 💖 i LOVED the episode
Makes sense Roberto don’t got a title card, he hasn’t taken up the call to action and started trainin to become an X-Men - aint Sunspot yet
I think the extra seats in Charles' astral plane classroom are for the X-Men. It shows that he always keeps a spot in his mind for them.
That is top tier Community meme usage
I need storm live action more than I’ve ever needed any hero to also my boy gladiator back! Milky Way ghetto was hilarious
Rewatched episode 2 and noticed the Adversary through the skylight whenever Storm was reaching towards the sky
To Me, My X-Men -Prof X
Fun Fact: The origin of the name “Satan” is from the Biblical Hebrew word “Hasatan” which literally translates as “The Adversary”
In the news report that Storm and Forge see, they name drop "The Evolutionary War," one of the huge crossover events of the 80s that hit a bunch of the Marvel line annuals... except here it is a very different context.
Charles making a joke about being Lilandra's pet made me giggle
i think charles's parelises is linked to his mental powers, since when he was in the savage land he gained his ability to walk once he lost his mutant abilities
Thank you for this video thought this episode was class
I would guess that it will probably be revealed that Charles brainwashed his X-men to think he was dead before he went to space.
Talking bout Vulcan?? A lot of so called X-men fans don’t even know about him smh
That would make sense!!
i def planned to watch this episode again love when the experts make connections i didn't think about before this series will def be a part of my rewatch list - it's REALLY giving us the Xmen we deserve
In comics, The Adversary is implied to be a variant Shadow King.
Um no.
@@Jumpoable Yes. It's on Marvel's own site.

seeing vulcan gives me hope we see my fav mutant darwin!
Yup, I agree. It’s Sinister working for apocalypse, who’s back in Cortez’s body.
So storm transforms like sailor moon now? Lol
Needed this !!🔥
They could be laying the groundwork down for a Krokoa adaptation. They mention Egg, most of the Quiet Council was on Genosha, cameos of both Darwin in episode with Mojo, and Volcan who both faught against Krokoa. Just me piecing everything together with my wall and red strings connecting things lol
5:59 lmao I just watched that community episode 😂😂😂☠️☠️
Sooooo informative! Gratitude!
I loved the parallels in this episode between Forge's reference to colonists deceiving the Native American people and the ideals of the Shiar being imposed on the conquered civilizations.
I swear when death birds mask goes up you can hear someone's iPhone going off I played it back like 5 times
Are you really asking why Cable is in the opening credits? He's going to reset the timeline saving the dead X-Men but dooming them to a worse future that they'll have to fight....against Apocalypse.
Kurt and Hank being blue and ignored.
I was waiting for this review
I got real chills when the professon started his "class".
When Apocalypse was kidnapping mutants, Sinister was working for him so it makes me think that Sinister still is.
This is an amazing video I loved it :)
In the comics, the Skrulls, Kree, Shiar and Xandarians were in different galaxies. Gunn said that Xandar was in the Andromeda galaxy like in the comics. The Marvels established that the Skrulls and the Kree are in the Magellanic galaxy" which in the comics were the "Magellanic clouds" which is a reference to what Magellan thought they were. The Shiar galaxy is fictional.
Perfect... I just finished watching
We learned way more about Charles Xavier than we needed to in this episode
Who was that Trask in episode 1? He’s crying at the death of mutants in ep 6 but cackling at killing the X-men in episode 1?
Maybe a clone Sinister created?
As far back as the OG series' first season finale, Trask has shown remorse whenever the sentinels go too far. He's always been intolerant and paranoid about mutants, but not full on genocidal. Consistent but weird characterization.
if theres anyone who should be brought back for a cameo its Iceman bobby drake and Angel they are apart of the original group.
UM AKTUALLLY, humans are not evolved from apes, we are a species of ape that shares a common ancestor with other apes.
Plz don’t speak for
Warstar was in there too, but you guys didn't mention him. Poor Warstar.
I think the "vision" of Charles was him reaching for Earth with his mind and feeling suddenly all the death at Genosha. He did say something about "giving an example" to the Shiar, as the camera pans to Earth.
Without getting too specific, the Kree-Skrull conflict in the MCU is based entirely on a very specific world conflict that is killing many innocent people right now. A brutal and merciless oppressor, and on the other side the oppressed but with a powerful ally whose emotional actions tend to make things more complicated. The Kree vs. the Shi'ar here by contrast feel more like a battle between houses in Game of Thrones. So imperialism vs. imperialism. The kind of wars fought between empires before World War I.
Hearing about the "Loom", reminds me of the "Loki" season
