I need to stop watching Holly Holm clips cause they just keep making me fall more in love with her. She is a major throwback to a time when people were expected by society to be courteous/polite and humble. What a role model - and how she stands in stark contrast to the disrespectful and irreverent generations of today. Godspeed to the preacher's daughter!

She's a 16-time Muay Thai champion who just entered the UFC Bantamweight division, and defeated #5 ranked Sarah Kaufman (Sarah by the way, has a win over Miesha Tate). Valentina is a striker on the level of Holly Holm but in a different striking sport.

When Ronda appeared on Ellen, I couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't imagine a male fighter getting on some talk show and doing that. His career would be no more even if he wanted to return.
Why would Holly look back and want a rematch. Why would there be a rematch? Rhonda had her chance to defend her title and got beat. Move on.
Champions are always granted a rematch for their title if they want it. Just don't know why they're beating it to death. This shouldn't be all about Ronda, considering she's not even in this fight.

Their fight whent Holly's way, early in the fight, if it had not, and Ronda would had more chances to take her down, Ronda would have won. She basically could've said "Ronda should do whatever/go wherever she wants- it's her life to live, not mine, If I never see you again, enjoy your life Ronda✌🏻." and conveyed the same meaning lol.
The more I watch Holly and listen to her talk, the more impressed I am with her. She seems very grounded and down-to-earth. Grounded and down-to-earth is probably not what MMA wants to sell but I hope they realize they not only have a good champion but a good person as well.

Holly Holm reminds me of Manny Pacquiao, them 2 have one thing in common, they're both humble and I think she's very sincere, kind, and heartwarming person.
I really hate how the media is twisting Holly's words out of context. It's not that she 'doesn't care' about Ronda. She just has to focus on her next fight, and its probably the last thing on her mind now. Holly still has compassion towards Ronda.

Class with kindness doesn't equal weakness, it just means you value integrity in the long run and fighting is a mental game. Stay humble and keep proving that good people can be tough and not lose their healthy character in the long run.
I like the mutual respect between both of them. This is something we didn't see with Rhonda at the press conference before she got schooled.

I think its great they both show each other mutual respect. This is what a professional sporting occasion should look like. Not all the taunts and tantrums that are always thrown, such as by Ronda and other individuals. Of course it does add more spice to the fight but when they are insulting each other personally and around their families then it is just out of hand.

Had to watch this vid cuz of the title. It makes it seem as if Holm was being bitchy saying she "doesn't care" but you watch the vid and she doesn't ever say she doesn't care if Ronda comes back she says she respects whichever decision she makes.

Holly talking about Meisha having had to dig deep and come out on top in a war was spot on. Compare Ronda, the closest she came to a war in MMA was the second Meisha Tate fight that went into 3 rounds. The rest of her fights were too short and easy, and over time she became complacent and slacked off.

She never says she doesn't care, she clearly states that she wants to fight someone who wants to fight.
