  • This, boys and girls, is how not to rebuild an engine. Everything gunned up. Put back together with the old bearings, seals, rings, oil pump. Shit, didn't even replace the oil filter!! Then fills it with used oil. The best bit though is the old clutch put back on with the friction side of the pressure plate painted black. Amazing!

    • LMAO i was when i watched this video... painted pressure plate haha. Btw when you watch the start attempt in the beginning you notice that one cylinder lacks compression. Why all this work when its bs? They didnt even number or mark any parts when they disassembled it in the first video which was labeled "formula 1 engine"..... SMH

    • First attempt at starting looked like timing was 180 degrees off...didn't see him installing timing belt to match either, but since the valves did not interfere with the pistons, maybe I just missed it. Also, since this is a fuel injected engine, and no sign of a control box, no wonder he had to "bottle feed" it run! Meticulous job of cleaning however, and painting.

  • This is very entertaining, the title alone: "1000HP" - LOL Regarding the "restoration": I was surprised that it did start (barely on 3 cylinders though) - to be honest. To restore an engine so much more must be done. But okay: Entertaining.

  • La verdad bastante gusto a poco la reparacion....hecha en el suelo, no reemplazó ningún rodamiento, ni aros ni pistón, ni filtro de aceite, no midió si estaba plana la tapa ni usaste llave de torque para ajustar nada...los kilos se los diste a ojo....no se...todo muy chapucero...felicitaciones x las ganas nomas q le pusiste...saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷

  • 1 Работа на 3х горшках 2 Карбюратор может и на соплях, НО НЕ ТОЙ СОРОНОЙ 3 Не снимал помпу 4 Герметик между БЦ и ГБЦ 5 Не менял масляный фильтр 6 Залил ОТРАБОТКУ 7 Не равномерно обжал шкив распредвала 8 Клапанная крышка на двух болт 9 Старые сальники НА ГЕРМЕТИКЕ 10 ВСЁ ЗАЖАЛ ПНЕВМОГАЙКОВЕРТОМ 11 Колхозное зажигание, и к тому же оно не правильное 12 Покрасил маховик и корзину 13 У этого двигателя после этой "реставрации" "1000HP" 14 Нет ЭБУ (бензонасоса и т.д.) ГДЕ ДОКТОР ДЬЮ?

    • жаль что поршни в черный не покрасил, а если бы в красный, то вообще 1500лс вышло. теперь понятно как тюнить нексию, просто маховик в черный красишь и все

  • So baut man keinen Motor auseinander und zusammen. Deshalb läuft er auch nicht so richtig. Sämtliche Schrauben werden mit Drehmoment angezogen, Zylinderkopf mit neuen Schrauben montiert und die zylinderkopfdichtung wird nicht eingeklebt. Und die Zylinder, Stössel usw müssen an gleicher Stelle eingebaut werden wo Sie ausgebaut worden sind.

  • 18:30 dá pra ver que ele montou os pistões cada um pra um lado, o ponto na cabeça do pistão serve de referência para o lado correto de montar todos. Mesmo assim, parabéns pela restauração, ficou bem limpo!

    • If you put a turbo on it, it will make 2000HP easy! And by the way all the parts on the engine have a life time warranty so as long there's people living on earth, everything is good to go ! They don't make engines like this anymore!

    • Бляяяя, с тобой согласен, вот бл я начинающий моторист и собрал пока 3 двигателя и все успешно кста, но сука, поставить старые сальники, намазать герметик на прокладку гбц, хуй пойми как закрутить крепления шатунов, хуй пойми как гбц закрутил и последовательность и т. Д. Ору с того что 2 болта держут крышку клапанов, бля я просто в ахуе) а то я смотрю лям с чем-то просмотров и 8к лайков) сразу понял что что-то не так) фильтр масляный 100проц старый) ор просто😂😂😂 двигатель жалко что достался этому узбеку или как там его хуй поймешь) ну ты понял)

  • Well I’ve seen some engine rebuilds in my time but nothing like that. Testimony to the fact that in a remote area , without specialist tools and knowledge it is entirely possible to deconstruct & rebuild an engine . I was surprised that it fired up at all given the fact that it was rebuilt in the fashion it was. Very interesting & thanks for sharing .

  • You need to check the timing in the correct firing order or adjust the distributor by turning you can turn it while it’s running to get to the right firing order As it out of firing order. I can only hear 3 cylinder firing not 4.

  • Swietne odnowienie silnika, ale jak zlom byl i dalej zlom jest aż, badz sie kupic takie coś pieknie wyglądające ale partacz ten co składał go to fakt.... Wcale nie dziwne ze, to nie bardzo chcislo palic, kto tak sklada głowice zawory a nie wspone o starej uszczelce

  • Этот мотор в новом виде больше 70-90 hp не выдаст, а то что сделал этот недомастер это не реставрация. Еле завёл, да ещё не все цилиндры работают, ужас! >_< Надо было поршни с цилиндрами тоже покрасить, и побольше герметика, прямо в картер и в масляный фильтр, что бы вообще всё загерметизировать, если сальники не поменял, что бы точно масло не протекло! Думаю уже не 1000 а больше 1500hp получилось бы!😄

I doubt it would ever make 1000 hp not unless they were Shetland Ponies perhaps or My Little Pony sort of hp's hehe Thing is, a mechanics job is to take a broken or breaking down machine and fix it up enough to make it work and this chap does it just like that, if you want real horror stories go look at the backstreet garages in Calcutta or Pakistan and see how they do it.

    • 1: if those "fancy tools" exist, there is a reason. like the torque wrench wich was not used and should have been. 2: he fucking repainted the friction side of the flywheel wich is pretty much an awful idea. 3: nothing was marked in any way to put back the distribution. 4:he used the old filters and bearings wich is like selling an old bus ticket. And just with that, you can clearly see and hear the engine strugling af wich is not surprising. Also, since he put back the crankshaft with a mechanical tool used for FUCKING WHEELS i can say to you that the engine is fucked up in an hour of basic use if he don't fix what he did. So what i'm basically saying is that you should SHUT THE FUCK UP WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT MECHANIC AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE.

    • Whould you like me to silicone a head gasket in your car, pour used engine oil, bolt everything down without torque wrench so your engine wears out in few hours Paint over friction surface of the clutch, bend the cam shaft... You know it takes time because shiny engine doesn't mean properly built engine

  • As watching I kept thinking to myself that don't half look like a Vauxhall Cavalier engine... then realised it seems to be a Daewoo 1.5 Ecotec which was basically a Vauxhall/Opel engine with a few minor mods, only ants at the picnic is those head bolts are stretch bolts, being stressed once then restressed again will see 'em shear or just let go the torque.
