This is a native ray tracing implementation and not a reshade mod.
Even with real-time ray tracing still being in it's infancy, I believe RT will become more important with current and coming generation hardware, so I created this channel with the intention of covering ray-traced games. There are plenty of channels doing mainly performance comparisons, my intention is to focus on the visual aspect and make the differences more obvious through my videos.

I'm back from vacation and a couple (more) interesting games have popped up :P I'll try to cover Myst, Serious Sam Pathtracing mod and Little Nightmares 2 in the coming weeks
Keep them coming! 😎
0:06 Raytraced Z-fighting looks so good :D
lmao
lol
Excellent comparison as always! The music is just so damn good! 👌
Seu canal é o melhor sobre ray tracing em games! Vida longa ao projeto! =D
I feel like this was just an excuse to show off your impressive fragging skills between static shots of RTXGI :D Good video
hello, can u test out Enlisted as there is an FSR update to the game. As of now there are three upscaling options in the game Temporal super resolution, DLSS and FSR. So could you test all these upscaling tech and make a video on it? My personal experience was that the Temporal super resolution is much better than FSR, and I'm using a GTX 1070. Would love to see how each upscaling technology fair against each other! btw Enlisted is free and only takes 10 min to download, so no hassle!
It's a nice upgrade, but in this case I'd honestly just prefer better textures and higher poly models over RTGI. If they really had to add RT they could've gone with something relatively inexpensive like RT Shadows and AO.
The real question is : Can you spot enemies easily with RTX ON
This might be the worst implementation of RT I’ve seen in any game so far, typically I’m in awe at the realistic reflections RTX gives but at 1:20 the rocks don’t reflect in the water at all, only the trees behind them show in the water(which shouldn’t even be possible). It seems like the RTX implementation here really just makes shadows darker in most scenarios and that’s about it. :/ Edit - The global illumination looks good though
This game doesn't feature RT reflections at all, its only GI
Almost not needed in this game, it looks fine by itself.
Afaik they use a probe based dynamic GI solution, I think that makes it a very interesting comparison
Well yeah kinda, but you get more accurate indirect lighting. Like the colour of the indirect lighting is realistic.
yes. vil be nicer with hdr1000
