If Rashford goes and Palmer doesn't, then everything most people say about Southgate is true. Rashford has been a lazy shambles this season.
I cant even imagine a scenario where Southgate did that, 😂 it would be the funniest most shocking decision ever.
Southgate won’t leave Palmer out, he’s got the stats and the press coverage to make that decision for Southgate, now will he give him any meaningful minutes on the pitch is a totally different question

Gotta realised it's a 23 man squad so 3 keepers, 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 7 forwards. My forwards would be based on form and fitness. Bowen, Kane, Solanke, Watkins, Saka, Palmer and Foden. Grealish/Gordon/Sterling just miss out for me.

@KingJaffeJoffer99 foden starts though for me and Solanke is a brilliant back up to have in case Kane/Watkins get injured. Maddison would play out wide if needs be. I'm confident Foden will be fine though. I agree if you think Gordon should go tho, I'd full back it if he went to the Euros even over Bowen.

Yea I'd have to take Gordon, just for the difference he'll bring being right footed. Having foden palmer and saka behind Kane, sounds great, but there might be a game you need someone more direct on the left
@KingJaffeJoffer99 I'd go with the front 4 in the world cup. All of them are in brilliant form anyway. Bellingham as the 10. Yeah, Maddison is in my 6 midfielders. My other 5 are Rice, Bellingham, Mainoo, Ward Prowse and Loftus Cheek. England like to play with their full backs flowing too and I'd go with Trippier at left back. Spinnazola was brilliant for Italy in the euros.
With the attacking talent England currently have, and the form they are in for their clubs, Rashford should be absolutely nowhere near the England team.....he's not just out of form, he can't even be bothered to try

@harrymic75 just to put into context, he went away with the under 21's to the euros, England won the competition and he gad player of the tournament he came back, worked hard and gas been sensational for Newcastle not just playmaker, but his tracking back and putting a tackle in, he has 10 goals and 8 assists and of those assists is how isak has a lot of his goals, he deserves to be in the euros, and a great player who will get even better.

@powervibes Harvey Barnes should be going over Rashford at this point based on actual performances. I watch Rashford each week and his basic lack of effort is downright embarrassing. He shouldn’t even be starting for United at this point and can’t complete a simple 5 yard pass.

Im a united fan but Gordon, Grealish, Foden, Bowen, Saka and Palmer (and i've probably forgotten others) are all wide players better than Rashford imo, and had way better seasons. He shouldn't even be mentioned to be going
@KingJaffeJoffer99 Harvey Barnes. He’s a gem that a lot of people forget about. Particular this year because he was injured for a lot off he season. But he looks very good for Newcastle right now. Based on actual performances, he should be on the plane over Rashford by far.

7:35 Once again, somebody claims Rashford had a good or great season last season, so I will have to once again point out that, in terms of performances, he didn't have a good season! His scoring figures looked good but in terms of performances, he was poor in all but a couple of games before the World Cup, then played well for most of the next two months(mostly in cup games) and then had a terrible last three months of the season and has been even worse since. People have got the impression that Southgate loves Rashford so much that he always starts him but that just isn't true. Yes, he's nearly always put him in the squad but in the four major tournaments Rashford's been to, he's only started two games in total and one of those was a dead rubber and he's only started six England games since the middle of October 2020 and just five since June 2021! I really don't think Southgate will take him if everyone is fit.
Of course WokeGate will take him ! He's the main 'kneeler'. Shouldn't be anywhere near the Utd squad !! Never mind England's.

Foden needs to start in the 10, Palmer off the right and Jude in the 8. Jude’s strength and ball carrying ability is maximised from deep. This gets Fonden into the centre of the pitch where he has that uncanny ability to score from the edge of the D.

England will never win a trophy with Southgate as the coach. He(Gareth) has a lot of issues managing that England team and their biggest problem aside Gareth are their fans and the media. Marcus' performances this season have been so terrible but do i judge his England chance for that or the experience he has with the NT, if you look at other big European footballing nations, they don't judge their players on that and that is the biggest issue with England. Whenever a tournament comes forth they often look to point out Marcus Rashford even when he does well. But he is often overlooked by Southgate, he has never been a starter for England, he has come off the bench 34 times which is alarming to me because he has been only been poor for 2 seasons in his career. I just hope he doesn't make the squad such that he gets time to rest and prepare for next season and i will see how they will perform because Rashy doesn't add any value to them. The English media and fans are just discriminative always backing Jack Grealish, but since when did he ever perform so well for Man City. He has never reached 15 goals contribution all season but then he gets away with it. Imagine having 6 goals contribution this season in 32 matches and he has to start for England, this is criminal.
