Cheap Mouse From China Tear-down LR-GM02
So this may look like a high quality mouse with all the fancy flashing lights and all but in reality this is just a gimicky cheap mouse.
#gamingmouse
i appreciate the design aesthetics and the work that went into this mouse but when it comes to performance this mouse just isn't there.
it uses cheap parts, and sensors, capacitors, and wires, but in truth i can't expect more from a 8-9 dollar gaming mouse.
you get what you pay for but if did need a cheap mouse like this for an MMORPG then it might actually be a good choice for you especially if you're on a budget.
but if you need a mouse for precision for your FPS games then look elsewhere. Look into logitech mx gaming mouse.
Logitech is known to make high quality stuff. it might cost you quite a bit but in the end it's worth it.
My grandson accidentally broke his mouse... and your video totally helped us repair it! Thank you so much!
You sound like an awesome grandpa
علي محمد حسين خلف القريشي wtf lol sshut up i have no grandpa even if they beat me up i wish i had some
How tf did he “accidentally” break a mouse
Retr0gamer rageeeeee
Hey granpa you're really cool :)
thank God I found this video before continuing to try and brute force open my cheap gaming mouse which I though had no screws
AHAH same here
Lol
same, man, same
The stickers on the bottom won’t come off
@@__Guess__ use your thumb to get the edge up then use a BIC pen cap to scrape it off
Thanks mate! Helped me in disassembling a similar mouse.
Thanks. you video helped me to fixed my son's mouse during this Home Base Learning period.
Plz help how did u flip the latch mine doesnt wrk
I bought this mouse (branded "catkil") because I wanted a mouse with a pinky rest. With my ancient MX 400 pinky always got in the way when I moved the mouse rightwards. The problem, for me is this mouse has a wrong shape on the other side. The thumb rests at angle opposite of most mice, on a slope. When you grab the mouse tighter, for aim or to lift it up, thumb tends to slip upwards/inwards.
Thanks dude! i was wondering what was inside my mouse haha
best video ever luv you, keep up the grind my benson
thanks man now i can tear down and rebuild this mouse. You know that alot of chinese mice use the same cuz i have the same thing except for the deco at the palm rest
They have same circuit tho.
Really interesting! Thanks :D
watching this before buying a new mouse helped me clean it's interior up give it a second life!
I got A weibo WB-X7 and the outside is literally almost the same except for the decals tearing down this mouse is also the same as in the video, i thought even the internall is the same but the motherboard is different and the components too are a little bit different but not really in a large margine.
now I just need to know how to put it back together
Nice job, I just wanted to know if it was probable that there was some screws under the sticker before I tore it off. And there was, so thanks! I have a cheap Tecknet M002 mouse, for about £6 on Amazon. Been using it for about a year now and it's great, but when I scroll quickly it sometimes reverses direction for a second, and it's really bloody annoying! I thought I'd take it apart and see if there was a problem inside, but there wasn't. I assume it's just shoddy Chinese engineering, or R&D, probably the signal from the wheel getting overloaded when scrolling too quickly or something. Besides that it's been pretty flawless for £6 quid.
this happens to me too just open up a mouse use wd-40 on the scrolling thingy and clean the wheel
Thanks bro I had broken my Mouse button 4 off and wanted to know how to get inside. helped alot superglued that piece back on lol
the mouse slides on those stickers, doesnt it? I can't imagine it sliding normally after the stickers are no longer even
One of my side buttons is only working half the time it was only working properly for like 2 mouths
Hey, I have the same mouse. My niece pulled the cable and unplaced from the board I just need to know what's the order of cables for the board
Thanks alot boss, you helped me very much :D
I already bought two of these (because they fit really comfortably in my hand), and in both I've had the same part break. If you use the middle button a lot, I don't recommend you buy these mice.
i literally just used it 2 hours ago and it stopped working now im struggling to open it because it had tight ass screws
i literally just used it 2 hours ago and it stopped working now im struggling to open it because it had tight ass screws
I have the same mouse but under a different name. My cable broke (the end that goes into the mouse) any suggestions on how to fix it?
Beautiful! I was working on an Arduino project and I salvaged one of these mice for it's microprocessor-sensor unit, but the branded version I had on hand had it's microprocessor serial deliberately worn off (why the manufacturer did that is anybody's guess), but at 6:23 you showed yours and now I was able to track down a pinout diagram! Thanks a ton!
thanks man it fixed the mouse
Noticed those switches are not Omron, which can be Japanese made or Taiwan, and used to be in all mice before 2010. Now, the Chinese branded mice, even some newer Logitechs models, use Chinese branded switches, which tend to fail early, like 3-5 years, whereas the old mice have lasted forever, people changed them just because it was old or didn't have enough buttons. Beware, you can buy Omron now made in China, and dunno how long that lasts. You can buy true Japanese Omron switches for not much more. My Logitech mouse is from 2003, going strong. I tried a few of those no-name Chinese mice and same thing, 'good specs' on ads, but in use, it doesn't live up to it, and sometimes the mouse pointer jumps at unpredictable intervals. I bought a few old Logitech mice from before 2010, and just stocked up on those in case my current mouse, 18 years old to date, eventually dies.
thank you ❤️
Nice video, i have one of these myself an although these are pretty cheap a person from a third world country cant really afford the razer or logitec ones.
Someone knows what is that plastic on the cable and if it works without that 🤔
My thumb button fell out and I tried pulling off the sticker but it is plastic how else do u open it
Thank you
I like how when i drop my mouse cause my table is too smol the hood takes of or i need to crack it in to actually work xD

Yes it is
I have a cheap RBG mouse, honestly the lights disgusted and exhausted me, there are no software to turn them off. I think I will open the mouse and break the RGB lights myself.
I GOT THE SAME MOUSE BUT BLUE!
Mine didn’t have screws so I took out the thumb mouse buttons and stuck a letter opener in it, now it’s working
i found this video cause i wanted to open my cheap mars gaming mouse, the right click started to malfunction , 7 years after buying it , so is safe to say this mouses are a pretty good deal if you ask me.

Zelotes mouse is the same exact price, screws places and model and had to remove the weight, Thanks for the help
mine didnt open after i unscrewed it, got frustrated and forced it open by bending it just so that i could fit a screwdriver in with m knife :D then i wrecked it
I have a Pictek T16 Gaming Mouse, the wheel got the axis out of alignment. Is there any way to fix it without the need to open it?
I don't see how that would happen unless the wheel's thin plastic shaft broke off at the spot where it's inserted into the electromechanical encoder. You better open it up and inspect the damage. And while at it, i'm curious what ICs and sensor they have in it :D
bro, my mouse has a problem with it's cable, about an inch of the cable will make my mouse disconnects if it gets moved/bent, so i need to tape it so it always bends the right way. but now i can only run the mouse at 125hz polling rate, instead of 1000hz (im thinking its because lack of power because some part inside of the cable is dead , so it sends less power) , and the movement of the mouse is now lagging. if i change to these paracords, that means the problem will be fixed if the problem is indeed my mouse's cable, right? thanks PS; sorry for bad english and explanations, im not a native.
yeah as you explained it, it should work afterwars. just a malfunction in the cable
@@jarem1172 okay thanks 😁
just when I see your finger touch the mouse button, I know it's waaay worse than my cheapo yenkee mouse. :D
will the stickers attach again or do I need some kind of glue after disassembly?
You need glue
Nice
Thanks a lot finding the screws 😂
My right-click doesn't even make sound
i have a Pictek 7T Gaming Mouse and it constantly squeaks even though i thoroughly cleaned it is there any way to make it stop squeaking?
same. I have no idea how :(
Dont be so negative, for the price is a really good mouse for casul gaming, i played tons of clicking and shooters and have a lot of fun, now after almost 3 years, mouse clics are finally getting tired, which i watched your video and this boy was dirty, after cleaning it carefully now its working fine, so thank you a lot for the tutorial.
The trust gxt 25 and the aula killing the soul (yea i know thats a cringe name) looks the same
Nearly 3 years ago I was given the monster version of this exact same mouse, same mouse and everything just different logo and I gotta say Ive never in my entire life had a better mouse. literally just today the mouse got fully submerged in sweet tea for a whole 8 hours straight bc it fell in when I went to sleep, I left it for a mere 2.5 hours and it now works perfectly well as it did before, autoclicker and all. The entire time ive had it and to this day it has very little delay, it feels good in my hand, and I've never had any inputs that didnt work or inputs that I didnt do. Its only problem is that you need to use it on a lighter surface or itll lag behind.
This is the scuffed version of the MARVO-SCORPION M315 (i have that mouse)
Thanks for the info, I wondered what this Chinese bootleg mouse I have was ripping off of.
Your mouse like my mouse.
My laser sensor stopped working after one single use...
Your that unlucky one since usually they last a full 3 month!
@@petertremblay3725 they last way more than 3 months

How do you set the dpi? There is no DPI setting for this mouse.
I believe its a 4lvl set not sure about the numbers, seems like it cant be changed
thank you
MX8871 sensor from China - the whole issue is either that or the lens. Perhaps a knockoff lens made by some plastics company that didn't know what they were doing. The sensor's specs are a bit disconcerting. Not only is the tracking speed insufficient at 30ips, though standard for office mice, the ridiculously low 2g acceleration is a hint that the sensor is running predictively and is not really capable of doing a complete displacement analysis.
I had to open it to fix one of the side buttons, and when I put it back together the top of the mouse was lifted in a way, like I would have to push it down harder in order for the mouse to click. And the sensor at the bottom didn't move the cursor. Any thoughts on what I did wrong?
I was just cleaning my mouse, and one of the side buttons fell into the mouse... and Im too scared to open up the mouse because its the only one I have and I probably wouldn't know how to get it fully working again
Hey did you fix it because i have the exact same problem please reply
my mouse doesnt left click please help me but i tried clicking it by using some toothpick and it worked how do i fix it

It seems to be a some sort of mass sold 'shit' mouse that gets sold to businesses which just slap there name on it. I have an anko mouse that looks exactly the same. Its mouse wheel broke so it didn't last long whatsoever.
What should I do if my mouse scroller has become losee
Also how do I remove the stickers
I love you

Its zues m330 the chinese one
Cheap count : 999
my mouse doesn't have screws wtf
it probably has some lmao I though that mine didnt as well, but there are little things that you cut and you find the screws below
You sound a little like moistcritical
how can i open my HAMA uRage Reaper Ess its different
There's always hidden screws under the feet. There can't be much more to it than that, once you take them out, you wiggle things apart. Hama mice usually have a latch near the front somewhere, so the top or the bottom needs to be pulled back. On some mice, there are also hidden screws under the paper label, but i don't think Hama usually does that.
my mouse is so bad, doesn't even have screws, fucking insane.
moral lesson: never buy a cheap gaming mouse from china
lol, good luck finding one that's not coming from China.
Those aren't cheap in Asia at all and USA gaming mouse are more expensive here and
That doesn't look cheap to me
the scrolling sucks in this mouse
I broke it
I now that it is late, after 6 years but it sounded like you didn't realy now what to say. Somehow you didn't talk like a knowledgeable man, at least not when you talk about mouses.
nice camerawork but a bit of a yawn I didnt dislike
you expected explosions and sound effects? xD
mine keeps double clicking ahhhhhhhhhhh
Me too bro how to fix it?
It's time to change the switch. Plenty of vids on it.
Change the debounce time down
What a total waste of time. "Cheap mouse teardown" and that's it. I need to fix my mouse.
To be fair he never actually said he would tell you how to fix anything in the title of the video
And yet here you are wasting even more time with your pointless comment, Hannibal.
How is it a waste of time the title literally says mouse tardown, what did you expect a full on explanation on everything that can go wrong in the mouse and how to fix it?
