Amazing job of helping me to stay motivated and excited about what's possible with a little bit of thought, dedication to master some tools and then commitment to put those skills and that knowledge into making something really cool. I'm new to your channel but already I'm a massive fan and this is one of my top 3 favourite channels to learn from. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing projects with those of us with much less knowledge and more to learn. Please keep making your incredible videos. ps. I also like some other channels but I don't care whether somebody went to a private school or comes from the streets, for me it's about what they do in this space and whether the content is high quality. I hear what others have commented and agree that there are also other high calibre content creators and yes I also enjoy those other channels but I think this channel has something very unique and really quite special (and no I'm not a sponsor, I just love tech, I love software, being a developer, a graphic artist, 3D modelling and also an animator I get a buzz from watching somebody else utilise a really good mix of skills to produce something really cool). • When trying to remove old solder it can be good to apply some fresh solder &/or flux(i use flux core solder). it will help melt the old solder and clean up much nicer. And if you are really worried you might burn or damage the pcb you can lower the temp pretty far when trying to desolder. I start around 280c. The mouse seems great. I would get so drawn into trying to plan the perfect first design that I would never actually build it, and it led to so much unnecessary stress and effort. Turns out, just making a very bare bones proof of concept works great. Don't give it too much thought, just make sure it works. Once that's done, do the rest by feel. The method you landed on in the end was exactly correct. Mess around with it for a few minutes/hours and see what feels good and what feels bad. Work from there. Keep up the great work!

    • @@primegamer321 25g with no scroll wheel, no side buttons and no actual shell, hsk pro 4k is 29g with all that at 4000hz and .08ms behind razer. hsk pro internals are literally only 2nd to razer lmao

  • replace the scroll wheel for a slide potentiometer. With every increment down it adds one left click per second, right click for up, springs to keep it centered.

  • I hope you cculd collaborate with FPS pros and let them try out this design when you get into the final version. I'd be so interested to know what they think about it. Top notch content as always!

  • Cool stuff. Definitely the closer you can get to just your hand the more free it can feel to aim. While still retaining decent shape for sure. I'd like to see more companies make good shape mice with carbon fiber option and/or magnesium alloy, sans the perforations. It will be more premium and still very light.

  • Just a thought: The "grip" of your mousepads surface might make your mouse feel heavier. As mousepads for gaming usually have some sort of resistance to give you control.
