Helmets protect entire head regardless of visually open faces in this game. Same goes for torso , thorax, and arms. Same hit box. The last of the 3 is the legs. Headshots are 3.5x. Body is 1x. Legs are .75x. Hope this helps!

@@dogboi6639 dude the devs themselves is that helmet visuals dont matter
for the consumables, you can middle mouse click to use, and if you reload straight away you can cancel the healing animation allowing to reload to perform, saves a bit of time having both actions ocurring at once. It won't speed up how long it takes to heal, it just allows you to do both at the same time.

They need to make upgraded ships more worth it or ship to ship battles more worth it. As of now, I start every raid going to an escape pod, and if some one brought in an upgraded ship, I just breach and steal it, sell it for a quick 20k. I would like to at least see xp earned for disables or crew kills with your ship to make it worth jumping in the cock pit and dog fighting it out.
Naked solo insta breaching is the true Marauder way!
I just use ships for storage and once those are full I scrap for money. However if you do use a higher tier ship you get 3x XP if you extract with it
Side note on the m16, it can be switched to 3 round burst although I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the extended mag attached. (Default "x")

Hi ! A question on the armors... Do you think that the gear protection depends of his shape ? For exemple, with the helmets, you have this T7 helmet who cover all the front face, do you think it make a front protection ? And if you have a classical helmet with an open face, if you take a headshot from the front, you have 0 protection ?
That was my assumption but apparently it was said by the devs that all helmets have the same hit box.
Could we get an updated guide
You missed something really important about helmets, they DO cover your face, the helmet has a square type hitbox, it has been clarified on their discord. Great video nonetheless!

this game is a blast; the thing I love about it most of all is: you see yourself get better and your rewards show it and then you also find your match where you risk all that you have for the win or for the fall. this game sometimes tears at your soul if you let it.
Facts
Bit of an out there tip/observation, but as of the time of writing (22/10/2022), asteroid mine is BY FAR the rarest map, for reference I’ve seen more merchant ships than I’ve had asteroid mine as the raid map. Why or how this is I have no idea, but out of 60+ raids I have only seen the map 3 times. I suspect it’s either a bug or there’s something going on behind the scenes. It just shouldn’t be that rare there’s not that many maps. Also I suspect there might be a level of gear matchmaking, when my team and I go in with heavily armed we tend to get better players who are also similarly well-armed. Just a hunch.
Even if you board someone’s ship when they’re trying to escape, they can still leave the raid and it’ll count as an extraction for you as well.
Another tip i see not being used in this video is use middle mouse button click to eat drink and heal, its quicker

No plans for optics now, but devs have said that they are thinking about adding them to single fire weapons
The game is kind of ww2 gun themed, so only optics that would fit the theme are classic sniper scopes which they might add to some guns, but no holos or red dots.

i love playing this game, but it keeps crashing at the worse time. i was juiced out on my way back with well over 100k and a blow torch in my inventory and game crashes. had back up gear loaded back in and it crashed again
Most of these weapons are from WW2 not 1. M16 wasn't put into production until 64.

I just got the game and ran in to someone at my air lock dumped a hole clip in to him . He just took it he had glowing eyes he didn't kill me but he moved like the flash and had crazy sounding guns is that something you can do or was it a dev or cheater lol I felt like I was a aunt but every thing on the map was dead and I looted for 20 minutes

I don't think there are any WW1 era weapons aside from the Luger and the Mauser C-96. Most of the guns are WW2 and early post-war.

I agree, but I'm glad they focused on the fun parts of the game instead. To me it's just a mini game to force the loser to choose between leaving, making the POI less dangerous, or to breach but with low health.
