  • Not to be pedantic, Ben, but it's not technically a snorkel. You don't gain any depth in water wading with it. It's a raised air intake, for when you're going through dusty or sandy environments, so the engine can breathe easier. It faces backward so all that stuff doesn't get blown into it. The Ineos has got SO much more room than the Jeep. There's just no comparison. I would dearly love to have one of these, but I just don't want to mortgage my house to get it. Hope you're able to put one in your stable, though.

    • What a ridiculous comment. Hysterical how correct your syntax and grammar are. How much time did you spend assembling your “point of correction”?

      @paulcomrie9534@paulcomrie9534Ай бұрын
    • It is true that the snorkel on the Grenadier is not for wading height increase. It is for dust. It gets you above the heavier silica in dusty conditions and also has a Reservoir inside that collects dust before it hits the air filter. I have a Grenadier if that helps qualify my comment.

      @tpresten@tprestenАй бұрын
    • How’s it not a snorkel if the intake is raised? I thought that’s what a snorkel was

      @Jay-oq1co@Jay-oq1coАй бұрын
    • The Grenadier has the air intake on the side of the vehicle and this snorkel is hooked to that air intake but not waterproof at the point of contact and I imagine other electrical components and mechanical devices are not waterproofed above the recommended wading depth. It's not like a snorkel on a Jeep or 4Runner can go in water as deep as the top of the snorkel.

  • It is a great looking vehicle. Have been comparing it to the Lexus GX550 Overtrail. The only item that is concerning for myself is the distance to the dealership should something need repair or maintenance. Very few authorized dealerships in North America.

  • Test drove the vehicle, was comfortable to drive since it has Recaro seats. Steering you have to get used to because they are off-road capable as it doesn’t have neutral back to center after turning! Has decent power since it has BMW engine. Overall, I like the old school box as the founder researched well!

  • Harry's Garage review was also good. He said it was one mans vision and the world has moved on from the old defender. However, he also mentioned how a basic version for Africa would be good at the right price. This is the first version and it will only get better from here on. 50,000 to 60,000USD for a vehicle with G wagon looks will probably be the sweet spot.

    @ninoloso@ninolosoАй бұрын
  • At the dealer in the west valley city they had alot of the cream color. Not many trialmaster seemed to be alot more of the trial master sold and hold. The choice of tires for the luxury version....I guess I understand why they did it. Maybe for noise reduction and ride quality. But I guess that would be confirmed on a test drive. What did you think? The price is pretty unattainable for alot of people unless its used for a company vehicle. I agree the diesel motor would be a great option. There is a company that I found that already makes "portal axles for the Grenadier". I did a KZhead search for the same

Just get aux power, diff locks and towing - then you can have someone else do something totally out there to it. Wheels, lift, lights, custom slide rails, cargo, roof rack, bumpers, all the toys.

    • My dealer here in Roswell, GA has quite a few for sale and probably has something close to what you would want on the lot. That is why I got mine now and didn't order one. They come off the boat here in Brunswick, GA so they get new ones daily. Build one online and then call them and send it over and see if they have one.

  • It’s cool, but at this price point it ought to have a hell of a lot more power at the very least. If I’m not mistaken, it has a turbo BMW inline six, and from the numbers quoted it’s fairly detuned. Even with markups a Bronco Raptor or 392 Wrangler is cheaper or as expensive, and both are far more powerful. I like the vehicle, but it’s unobtanium for the vast majority of people.
