Those were authentic games! The commercial earning-models that EA 'developed'are just shíte!! It surprises me to be fair that EA hasent revamped these oldtimers into some Pay-2-Win game now. Like you can play CnC, but if you want the Nuclear Missile, you need to pay 4.99. Same for the Weather Storm. Advanced Tech Building for 'only', 3.99. Kirov Airship for 2.99. Apocalypse/Prism Tanks; 1.99 each. Dreadnought/Aircraft Carrier: 2.49...

But imo 'The 3 Series' in that perspective, is the last one of its kind. CNC4 was bad... and everything after that, never gave me even a glimps of the feeling of playing RA2, or CNC3 again. Those were fun! Bit OP, unbalanced even, but thát was the fun of it! Wether it be raining Dreadnoughts/Carriers or hyperblasting Apocalypse/Prismtanks on RA2, just obíterating anything that did or didnt move, or Rank 3 Avatars of Juggernauts 'stampeding' everything to death itself with fire and explosions. Sadly i dont have all versions, Generals also is very cool for a change... i was surprised that the lobbies run on CnCNet are still somewhat active, these games even if old and underdeveloped for this age are still very much enjoyable classics. The animation is dope too. One thing i find sad though is that a lot of units for tiberian sun, such as the cyborg creeper or the Juggernaut are not in the free versions CnCNet offers.

And it is true that Electronic Arts bought up most of the game developers in the western world so that kind of cancer has spread far and wide. In EA, many of the best developers got replaced by low wage workers to save money and increase profits. But when you look at some of the game developers in Japan like Clover, Idea Factory, Compile Heart, Square, etc.. They make a lot of great AAA games and they have a lot of developers and artists that are very passionate about their work they do. Many of them have their entire life's work put into a single series such as Dark Souls, Final Fantasy, Neptunia, etc. And they don't replace their best talent with the cheapest wage workers they can find, like how EA does which ruins every game company they acquire.

  • There's something I don't like about the MCV designs, but I blame it more on the game that the anyone else. It's the fact that no part of the vehicle mode is present in the building mode. The animator here did their best to make the process as detailed as possible, but overall it's still massive chunks of machinery vanishing into the ground or emerging from it. I just can't help but imagine how much of an engineering flex it'd look if actual visible parts of the vehicle turned into the machines that constitute the Construction Center, like if it was a Transformer.

    @joeyjazz4013@joeyjazz40133 жыл бұрын
    • That’s because of the nature from the game, which is so When it’s in vehicle mode and start transforming into the building the entire vehicle literally sink under the ground, then the building apart rises up from down there

  • Pretty cool, did a great job on the animation and transformation. My only advice would be to, seeing as this is a cutscene, slow the actual transformation down so it's easier to see what's going on, e.g. when Westwood did a cutscene for the MCV transforming in the original Command and Conquer, it took about 30 seconds. Still an awesome video, unirregardless.

  • Seen a lot of Soviet heavy tech during my childhood and school years in USSR. Designers of this catched Soviet heavy tech vibe quite precise. For 100% reality MCV unpacking speed should be 5-6 times slower. Top side metal constructions weight many tons. Though I understand that video makers wanted to tune this beast to game MCV acting. In general - very good.
