I mean its not impossible to make a game today with this level of fidelity an visual style. Its just going to be tricky to motivate it for an rts. I would honestly like to see an attempt at some point at it. Ingame stunning visuals for both explosions and transformations. EA had something with Generals 2 before it led to disaster after disaster and it got shut down.

I think overall story is little bit of a mess... I'd appreciate reboot that honors whole C&C franchise, not only RA titles, while improving on its shortcomings we kept blind eye on because we loved these games so much.
Realistically, the transformation doesn't even make sense but for a fan like me, it doesn't even matter.

Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge is still my most favorite RTS game ever. This is so amazing! I build a Prism tank in Warhammer 40k scale and I have a flying disc converted from a Rosswell UFO kit that needs finishing. Once I brought the Prism tank model with a converted Baneblade and a converted Leman Russ tank to my local Gamesworkshop store during a campaing event, just to show the staff and people I know there. I was a pretty busy day and I was suprised how many people recotnized it for what it was. Now I wand to build an MCV to fit the scale, but the sheer size is going to require half a room judging by the size of those astronauts.
RA Yuri Remastered with this graphics. Make RTS games great again, and make those crappy mobile games pay for it!

"Hot air"? In a vacuum, any leaking gas would expand out at hundreds of meters a second. It wouldn't stick around to make heat distortion effects.

For what purpose? They are very impractical. Takes too much energy to move around such a thing. Too much that can brake or be destroyed. Look up 'landship' on Wikipedia. It's an edging fantasy, but not much more. Better with ships or planes.

The attention to detail is impressive, but not just from a design perspective, but even taking into consideration the fact that such a gigantic vehicle would still move faster in low gravity than it would on an earth like planet. That’s the icing on the cake.
