Agree, Conor said in his piers interview he needs the hardest fight so his ability is undeniable. When he said that it's clear that he's either full of it or just deluded cause Pacquiao has gone way past his prime. Great rapport between these guys. I like Liam Smith interviews because he pulls no punches. Don't always agree with everything he says but still respect his take. Spot on about why Hearn never mentioned him as a potential Benn opponent - while there are no guarantees in boxing, I think most us us know the very likely outcome of that fight.

I struggled to pick a winner based on the information in front of me and thought it'd be a close fight, going to points that Chris would likely edge due to work rate and boxing in and out using his range ( longer reach and height). I was worried about Roy Jones Junior being Chris's trainer, as from the fights we've seen with CUJ since being with RJJ, i feel Chris's best attributes don't suit what RJJ is teaching him ( they are very different athletes, with different attributes). Looking at CUJ's previous fights and reports from world champion and world level sparring partners he's had, it's fair to say his chin wasn't to the usual level by miles, so I'm putting that down to weight draining himself for the Conner Benn fight and two back to back training camps. I don't want to take credit from Liam and full respect to him (IMO he's not got the respect he deserves prior to this fight), but CUJ wasn't what he was previously, before he was weight drained and pre RJJ as his trainer (Roy trying to teach CUJ things that RJJ used to do, that pretty much know one else could do) , as Chris's attributes were great work rate, great stamina, great chin and pretty decent boxing ability.
