    • I'm pretty sure his is a manual and those came with a center diff lock (I think). That would make the manual ones more off road capable. Don't quote me though, I'm still learning about these.

    • @@everready19373 actually all awd rav4s first generation came with a center diff the difference is a manual ones came with a button to engage it when needed the automatic’s came with a system that would automatically engage when one wheel lost traction I think it depends on what region of the world the car was sold tho I can’t remember from what I read about the car

    • @@alanramos1819 I just bought an AWD model and the manual does have a button to engage the c. diff lock. I know the 97 model was sold awd in the U.S. for sure because mine was bought new from a dealership in Colorado. There were some models with the more powerful engine from the celica sold in Japan though. U.S. models came stock with the 3S-FE engine and the Japanese models were offered with the 3S-GE Beams engine used in the Celica GT-4 I believe.

    • Ive own mine for 5 years best off and on road vehicle ive owned im from New Zealand and mines 1994 2 door manual with c.diff button exactly the same as this one on the video , you can check my channel on my build of the rav4 ,My cousin got the 4 door Automatic transmission one as well but that lacks on power as it goes into a high gear low revs on soft ground like sand that where the manual can easily change down gears for high revs and get out , ive did a little mods to mine ive bash plated fuel tank an engine sump and welded angle bar to the rear stable bars to make them stronger, upgrading the centre drive shaft and rear diff mounts and upgrading the stable bar and stable bar links and welded the control arm tabs where the stable bar link connect to because manufacturers only weld one side of the Tabs its important because when the Rav flexs that tab seems to rip out, so it pays to weld the other side to stop that from happening , i think the last mod i will do one day is put the gene4 3sgte engine in it

  • Всё дело в пилотах. На рафе очень шаристый, на паджере везде хочет узнать предел возможности, поэтому в натяг идёт и сбрасывает, чтобы в жопе встать и проверить на что машина способна. На патроле ходом идёт, ну молодцом. Равчик конечно порадовал в умелых руках. Вот хочу сменить хайс региус на 1kz-te на 11 рафа (пятидверный).

  • My is four doors but after upgrade the rear and front coil springs, I equally change the tires from 225/16r to 235/16r which gives my 1998 rav4 full projet of road 4x4

    • @@WW2Expeditions, с наступившим вас Новым Годом! Раскажите, как приводная часть после таких покатушек на раве, чувствует себя. Поскольку как бы живуч, могуч и целом выдающийся рав не был, но это все таки легковушка.. И нива по сути, в части прводной, кроме двигателя, вроде как понадежнее. Вот интересно что в раве вылетает.. И как унего решен вополс с задними нижними поперечными тягами.. Родные или от санта фе стоят..

    • @@user-so7gh9ui9p приводная часть в отличном состянии. Нива и рядом не стоит по надежности. У рава единственный узел, который требует внимания, это передний ступичный подшипник.

  • Why wasn't the rav4 using its center diff lock? Appears some wheels spinning whilst others not? The mitsubishi would have been much much better with better tyres for the conditions.

    • @@user-li4qs1ip3k АТ позволяет двигаться без срывов несущего грунта, не обездвиживается при попадании воды между корзиной и диском сцепления, да 5ая передача на мт у равов выходит из строя часто - болезнь. Ну все верно про сцепление.

    • @@NoName-ee2hz Часто задаваемые вопросы: А по грязи едет лучше чем Нива? - Да Тут от рава родной только кузов остался? - Нет. Все родное, только задние поперечные рычаги усилены. А муфта на бездорожье не перегревается? - Нет. RAV4 имеет "честный полный привод" с принудительной межосевой блокировкой. А как же на бездорожье без "понижайки", наверное сцепление постоянно горит? - бывает что подгорает, но в исключительных ситуациях. С момента приобретения сцепление не менялось. При нормальном оффроуде мощности двигателя в 129лс, при очень низкой первой передаче, хватает с большим запасом для
