(Pt. 2/2) Today we finish up a Salvage 2008 Corvette C6 from Copart rebuild and see just how CHEAP we were able to do it!! Will we end up with a LS3/Auto C6 for way under market value? Or are salvage prices so inflated that it will turn out to be a waste of time..
Have a salvage Corvette rebuild story of your own? Tell us in the comments!
Be sure to let me know what we should rebuild next!

Applause! I for one am glad to see a Corvette saved instead of parted out. Looks great.
Me too
Especially a well optioned lower trim
For every parted out Vette, there is another one saved.
He that began a good work in you will faithfully complete it . 🙏🏾👍🏽💪🏿
@@michaelRay2576 Huh?
please keep doing rebuilds. i like seeing stuff returned to its former glory rather than in a bin
as a Corvette owner I'm glad to see this one be able to make it back on the road... great content.
I liked seeing you guys fix one for a change. Love to see more of that content.
Nice to see it’s easy to repair, so also keep making these kind of video’s 👍🏼
First time I came across your channel and I love it.Great job on this project. You have a great shop it’s a good business.Enjoy your day ✊
Very nice rebuild and appreciate your honesty, thanks for sharing, cheers..
Great work guys! Very interesting to see how all of this is done! I learned quite a bit, car sounds great.........wish it was a manual! Looking forward to what's next! Thanks again!!
I always enjoy your videos especially fixing cars keep it up.
Good work! You've earned every penny of what your sale price should be. Love it when things work smoothly.
Really enjoyed the revival videos…it’s nice to see you save one from time to time.
Awesome video dude. I love the pace. You are a natural. Looking forward to seeing more. Your uk fan
Awesome, you keep putting out great videos honestly living my dream XD Cant wait to see your channel get bigger :)
I love the chemistry these two have working together. Love that 2008 black beauty.
loved seeing a vette survive 🎉 more please 🙏
I rebuilt a 2014 Mustang and at my first salvage inspection, I was denied because I hadn't painted the bumper yet. Never realized that paint mattered in the safety of the car. But, took it back to the shop, painted it, and everything was good.
So happy I found your channel man, not only is the quality of work and people there but the video quality as well! An added bonus I’m right across the bridge in annapolis! Keep on keeping on!
This video is solid all the way through I have a c6 08 m6 CA CT and his sale numbers for current market are on point!
Really enjoy the rebuild videos. Looking forward to more, especially the turbo 911 rebuild!
You and me both! Thanks for watching!
Nice job! Thanks for sharing this video. 👍🏼
You have the Best Scrap Yard Walk Arounds on KZhead ! Fixing stuff is great to watch too.
I’m a ford guy but I love corvettes! Great work glws! If for sale and not a toy!
Good vids, amusing fellas. Keep on going 👍🏻👌🏻😎
I love the corvette content. I just hope you continue doing content on them. you are very good at this.
Very entertaining! Loved seeing the process from the amount invested to final product. Wondering how much it would sell for.
I’ll be sure to update when it sells!
@@scraplifegarage out of curiosity, been about a year, what did it go for? Given the usual 50-60% of clean title value rule for pricing rebuilt titles, my guess is you still prob got 18k+ give or take?
Enjoyed this content very much. Should continue this style. It works! Fernando is the man. Your channel just popped up in my feed yesterday. Never seen it before.
Everyone love Fernando!
Just found your website, really enjoyed this series of vids on the rebuild. Would definitely watch another rebuild video. Thanks and have a great day!
It just so happens you might get your wish sooner than later..
Enjoyed this video, that you put the Vette together rather than tearing it apart
It's good to see a car back to life good job love the show
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching!
Found your channel from the 997 turbo. Can’t stop watching. Keep it up man, you’ll be at 100k soon.
Great Turnaround 👍 on that Rig! Most definitely worth the 20K + you mentioned. '08 -'09 my favorite with the LS3 Nice.
Nice car all things considered, and you-all seem like good people. Rock on bro!👍
I've been looking all over for a good deal on a c6. You're a lucky man.
You have earned yourself a new subscriber. This is what I like to see. Cars being saved and not parted out. Please try do more like this. From Johannesburg South Africa. We dont get that class of cars so much here. They are very rare here and sell for over a million Rand.
excellent ! thank you for saving it, totally deserved !
Absolutely love it. Came out very nice. If I didn't just buy a C7, I'd chase you down and buy it!
I just want to hang out in your shop all day and watch the cars. I love this.
Awesome series; great work!
It sucks to get an alignment and then have to put your wheel on again lol thanks for the content it’s nice seeing you drive that beauty.
Cleaned up nice! Good lookin car!
I didnt know that about rear quarter panels ,good info! thanks
Always more corvettes, cheers from Canada ❤️
Hi guys, new subscriber here, really enjoyed both parts from start to finish. I'm watching from Australia and look forward to the next project. 🥇
Hell yeah love to see them saved. My rear end has been howling since ive owned mine, oddly though only does it if its super super warm /shrug
Great job. Love the outtakes at the end of the videos too. LOL
Killing it man love the content. Making a KZhead was the right move
great video to see, loved the change of pace seems like quite the dynamic channel coming into its own. I’m in!
Great Video! I enjoyed it! Thank You.
The sound the vette makes is amazing love to own one one day not many here in the uk 🇬🇧
I learned today that those rear quarters are removable with simple hardware. nice
Damn brotha you guys are killing it!!!! Love to see the content and the subscribers grow!
Thanks Man! Gotcha catch up sometime
Very much enjoyed the repair video.
Great video! love that its not being parted out;)
The C-5 and C-6 Corvettes were "Screwed and Glued" , which was a big improvement over the C-4 and C-3 bodies. Great job, guys ! Good to see one worth repairing ! There was a book written about the C-5 'Vette called "All Corvettes are Red" and after I read that book I found a very nice used C-5 and it was the best car I ever owned. I wish I were able to buy the car you guys have repaired because I feel that you guys care that your repairs are the "real deal" , and you give a damn about your reputation, which is VERY good ! You guys do good work, you make me miss when I was working on cars and trucks
Good series, looking forward to more in the future!!
One more rebuild coming right up 😉
I did the rear wheel bearings on my 05 ,you made it look easier than it was..lol..I love that Sienna interior.
It only looked short because I cut out the parts what I was cussing at the car.
Definitely enjoyed seeing this kind of vlog but it's still hard to say what I prefer because I'm a brand new subscriber. The couple of vlogs I have seen are very good. Also because I'm in England, I get to see loads of cool American cars. ✌️🇬🇧✌️🇺🇸
I am at work studying with you guys and learning more and more
Good content videos are definitely getting better also nice to see you save a ls3 6l80 car and your pricing was on point for today’s market
Thanks! We’re working hard to keep getting better and trust me, I’m PICKY.. there have only been 1 or 2 videos I’ve been truly pleased with. Sitting here on my commute home as we speak jotting down notes in my phone of things I need to do to take the videos to the next level, it’ll get there!
body panels yes you can bolt them on(i had a C5). The rear tubs unfortunately aren't as easy. Mine had been very lightly rear ended and we found there is actually ways to section in the tub :)
I Really enjoyed the video and more of these would be great for the channel. Keep up the great work 💪
Well I have good news for you because I’m rebuilding another c6 as we speak!
Beautiful work
Enjoyed the rebuild!
Awesome video!! More repairs!
The rebuild was cool to see.
Excellent job and video…..Professional operation with a twist of fun…..new to your channel and truly enjoyed. I use to build classics and street rods…maybe I should watch for a older project at similar car yard wrecked or fire damaged……..any thoughts or ideas? Retired and miss my old hobby; thank you Randy out of east Texas
this channel is quickly becoming one of my favorite watches🤘
Happy to hear that my man!
You can get a front wheel drive wheel bearing installer/removal tool from ebay & it allows you to extract a wheel bearing without a press & install the new bearing. All it is, is a forcing screw with several sized disc & cups. Works great!!!
I agree! If you are able to bring any car back around, even if it's a Juke? 😁 Sure why not that Corvette is nice even though it's a Manual. I would daily that thing for sure, I'm actually jealous would love to be wrenching on stuff like that, great content guys
Nice repair video! Excellent car!
I'd love to see more builds!!!
awesome video, id totally buy this car having had you repair it in this video awesome guys
Being poor SUCKS ! Love your content keep it coming! Happy Corvetting !
Now that’s a much better than the videos I’ve been watching… just found the channel with the roasted hellcat.
Great video
To avoid inadvertent welding, disconnect the negative battery lead first and connect it last.
I absolutely enjoy rebuild videos personally.
Great save!
Awesome videos man
It’s really cool to see one that was totaled be turned around and fixed again. I had an orange automatic c6 that got totaled because someone didn’t yield but now I have a blue one that I like more that’s a manual
Daytona Sunset or Atomic Orange? I prefer the Atomic Orange by far.
I liked seeing you fixing one ......
Loved this video series saving this Vette. You guys do a great combination of content. Anything on your zr1!!??
I just got off the phone with LME, they are going to call me back in the morning with some news, trust me I’m ready to get back to it…
@@scraplifegarage awesome! Looking forward to it.
I love the channel and content, I’m a new sub as of last week. I didn’t even know you guys had a channel. I’ve actually been buying parts from you the past 2yrs for my GTO.
Welcome to the family!
Love seeing the car saved
I did just learn that the quarter panel was bolted on...that is amazing! Now I want one even more. Did you sell this one?
I love the outtakes!
It pays to stick around til the end!
I love to see guys who know what they're doing.
And you’re watching us idiots!?
Great video!!!!!
Awesome video handsome!
New to the channel love the job you did. One day we will meet and buy my dream Vet from you 👍
Awesome video
I would have liked to have seen it clay barred and buffed. I think it would be worth it. Beautiful job! You guys work in a candy store.
Very interesting I like this video a lot
I would love to have a vette like that!!! 😀
The video was great. My question for you is how does a rebuilt , salvage, repaired cars effect the retail value of the car and insuring the car replacement values? Thanks
Loved the video
Great buy
Very cool. I miss my c6 black coupe. Had me in them remember berries 😂.
C6 is a great car, nice piece.
That is one cool trailer
