  • Very fun looking. I used to have a roadrace car and would get cars for free or near free and use the parts on the racecar then part out and scrap. Always found it fun work. I was a single guy operation, so metal was cut to a size I could lift and carry to my trailer. It was interesting to see scrap steel prices over the year. One trip and I could buy myself a large dunkin coffee and a muffin. Next time, I've got enough for 3 tanks of gas. I see you traded the S2000 for a Vette. I did a smaller level version and once needed some discontinued hasport swap mounts. I traded 4 boxes of parts with a guy across the country for them. He sent pickup tags and UPS came up the driveway.

  • I LOLed my ass off when I saw this, and cried a little, because at first I thought it was MY C6. Short story, I got side-swiped on I65 (right past the turn off to the Vette museum i might add) and did a 180 and hit the rock wall on the side of the highway rear end first at 70 mph. The diff came up though the rear floor, and sorry ruined the radio with the bell housing driving the floor into the dash. My wife and I had no injuries, not even scratches! Impact twisted the rear end to a 30 degree off set from left to right. The real laugh was I started it up and DROVE it onto the flatbed, because he couldn't get under it. Oh yeah, the side swipe de-skinned the passenger door and rear passenger fender. Then it went to Copart. sigh.

  • Fun video! Watching you two shit birds one up each other with "I have never seen this bad of damage" was enjoyable, reminds me of when you see a really good movie with your wife and you two constantly remark about how great it was hoping your not the one who says it one time to many and kills the mood. On a more serious note, Cairngorms trashing of that beautiful FD is concerning (and I know that Carington is spelled wrong but that is where autocorrect went, so who am I to tell Apple they are wrong.)

  • I can’t wrap my head around the fact you guys can still profit from such a trashed car. Every thing you removed was dollar signs. Good luck

    • @@TWEAKLET Much of the cost back, would not cut it for me if I was doing what these guys are doing...labor isnt free even if your doing it yourself.getting that car up in the air and just looking at it would tell you the whole back clip has to be replaced and all the labor entailed...new transmission, rear end, lines etc..dont know what they paid for it, but it would have to be worth at least 25% less than what a used motor would be worth, to be worth buying.

    • @@johnnyzee383 they are not repairing it they part it out to repair others or to sell look at their other videos usually completely totaled cars like this go for close to the cost of the engine if not a little more if you look around their shop the walls are lined with engines and other stuff
