Notice that each driver has their unique way of diving these trucks. Some take it easy and other's just try to plow their way through the course. The TATRA has an impressive suspen- sion. One of the TATRA trucks did break the third axle as it stopped turn- ing. This just shows how rugged & tough these vehicles have to be built for the jobs required of them!
Haven't watched anything like this at all couldn't stop watching it and the sound of those engines are just amazing

Tatra and Mercedes 8x8 trucks were both impressive but l would pick the Tatra as most of the drivetrain is inside the tubular backbone chassis and protected.

Bloody beautiful! We drive some of the biggest and most powerful MAN trucks where I work on a rail network in Australia it's amazing what we do with them but these trucks are on another level wow they are awesome!!!

At 3.04. 'Green Monster' snaps it's near side no3 axel's drive shaft. The shaft jammed the hub, so that the tyre will not turn. Expensive!

@@mateimatei2074 Nothing, it seems like brakes are new or something like that. This truck have airbrakes, so if brakes would be bad, it would not drive at all :)

There is not market for trucks like these in the US. These vehicles are designed for extreme conditions like siberia
Look up Oshkosh and Stewart & Stevenson FMTV and HEMTT or LMTV 6x6 or 8x8. There are tons of them in the US. Mostly airport firetrucks and military surplus.
@@argentosebastian Which we have plenty of across the northern states, Alaska has terrain that makes Siberia look like a dream... The reason these things arent popular in America ia becsuse they arent very useful. If we need to blaze a path, we use a bulldozer & make ourselve's a proper road. We will get muxh more accomplished that way... These things never carry any loads.. Stupid pointless things.
@@xenonram Different purposes: * TATRA is engineered for rough terrain * US military are engineered to move equipment on dry roads. . We full-time live-aboard in our ExpeditionVehicle. During trips through Baja, we see converted euro-mil, but they never leave pavement. If they stick the thing, they call the local military to drag them back to pavement.
@@elonmust7470 Stupid? Pointless? For decades, TATRA served remote communities for food and medical. During the Russian rainy season -- rasputitsa -- enormous regions of Rodina are inaccessible except by helicopter (very expensive) or TATRA (the costs of any heavy-truck). . I hope this helps!

Tatra 8x8 in snowrunner brought me here. My favorite truck from the game
I wonder how an American Oshkosh 8x8 or 10x10 HEMTT would perform. These machines are impressive.👍
The stock hemtts are probably not as powerful as these, seeing as how these trucks are more than likely custom built and tuned fot these competitions.
An m1070 a1 would maybe do ok, and a HEMTT with the cat engine might be good as well, both of these vehicles are around 3 times as powerful as a stock tatra

@@wiciuwiciu2783 they're extremely heavy and all have tuned engines with +/- 2000 ftlb of tq and 800 hp. There's a reason they all have tuned engines.
I think those are a bit too heavy for this.

If you refer to those covers from well hub to the tire, that's part of central inflating/deflating system, you can change tire pressure on the go with it.

It looks to me the all have to much air I the tire. Normally in dirt would whant lower air pressure.
Not to mention the tire design they're using doesn't look optimal.

@Phi, Anything out the exhaust is wasted fuel. Over-fueling kills engines and other components. Did you notice the dead axle dragging?

Too bad more trails aren't wide enough for these. Granted they kind of cut their own trails anyway. Make a full on overlander RV out of one

Wie sind eigentlich die Anschaffungskosten eines Trial Truck? Ich denke, die dürften ähnlich, wie die eines Formel 1 sein?
Im Vergleich zur Formel 1 scheiss billig. Beim Unterhalt hingegen werden sie wohl nicht mehr all zu weit auseinander liegen.

I am confirming that those engines has been over-revving too much easily destroying piston rings, burning pistons and head gaskets and other related issues! An expensive way to have fun...
