BEST Steelseries Gaming Mouse? | Aerox 3 / Aerox 5 / Aerox 9 Ultra Lightweight Mice Review
If you're like me trying to find a nice lightweight gaming mouse for not only gaming but for day to day pc use then the Steelseries Aerox lineup of wireless gaming mice might be something you'd be interested in. Throughout this video, I'll go over all of the mice they have in this lineup by providing you with what you would get for each mouse as well as the build quality, features, specs. I'll also go over a sounds and switch test for all the buttons and talk about the overall performance of the mice and let you know what their grips are like and what each mouse is good for so you can determine which one would be the right one for you.

@@logsalot1144 nice! Yeah it’s definitely a great mouse for FPS games which i didn’t really mention in my review and it’s lighter than the rival 5 which is probably a mouse you looked into I bet considering it’s similar to the 600.
I just bought the Steelseries Aerox 5 Wireless. I am really excited to use it, a friend of mine uses this mouse and she said that it's really nice. And after watching some videos, i agree too.

Great video quality and info, especially for your sub count.. I plan on picking up the 5 and the 9 for different applications. I have the 3, but it is a little small for my grip. Looking forward to the 5 for more FPS type games and with the 9 it should be very helpful with editing, macros and games like ARMA with lots of keymapping.

Can't wait for my aerox 5 to come in the mail. I've been struggling to find a mouse to upgrade to from my cooler master devastator. I just haven't been able to find the right shape and size that I would like, but when I saw the aerox 5 pop up, I was instantly set on it. Great review, very informative and easy to follow and great video quality. Keep it up! Edit: I've received my mouse along with the Apex 3 keyboard. Absolutely loving both of them so far. I've personally found the flick up/down button to be really well placed for my hand and I really like the addition. Both feel very good quality and I can absolutely recommend them!

Do you have a small hand? Im deciding between the 3 and 5 but the 3 looks really small, i think it may be his hand though. I'd say my hand is about 7 inches from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger.
@@bryanmonsivais2399if you are worried about size, dont get the aerox 3. i have small hands and its still too small for me to palm grip. i think its because of how flat/thin the mouse is, the aerox 5 looks thicker

I know I am very late on this video, but I am surprised with how professional and good your content is. Your videos seem way more thorough than some of the biggest creators' in this space, and I truly believe that you deserve all the subs in this genre of content. Oh and also I ordered the Aerox 3 recently because my good ol' trusty rival 600 broke after many years of service, we'll see how it is.

theres 5 side button in the 5. the glossy black strip over the side buttons go up and down
Do all of them have the same size mouse feets? I can only find glass skates for Aerox3/9. I am wondering if I could use it for the 5 as well.
Good question, supposedly the aerox 3 lineup has 100% virgin PTFE feet while the aerox 5/9 have 100% regular PTFE feet from the looks of it. Meaning the only difference would be that the aerox 3 PTFE feet haven’t been mixed with other materials or dye thus providing the lowest coefficient of friction but I felt no difference in friction between all of the mice when using them. They all felt the same on any surface🤷♂️
08:43 The serial number on the back appears to be exactly the same off-angle as mine. I view this as more of a consistency rather than a flaw.
I just got the Aerox 5 wireless for 70 euro's and I'm very happy with it.
why are we leaving out the obvious and constant scroll wheel issue of going opposite direction?
Looking at the 9. Anybody have a source for a sleeve or something to cover up the awful hollow grate design? I don't really care about weight and all the other "MMO" mice out there have that annoying right ring finger/pinky rest that induces more ulnar deviation leading to carpal tunnel.
Is it easy to misclick the side buttons if you pick up the Aerox 9?
Nope, I’ve had no issues with misclicking the side buttons when picking up the aerox 9. As a matter of fact the other side buttons on the other aerox mice are actually easier to click if you pick up the mouse around those side buttons.
Aerox 9 buttons will not misclick. They aren’t though to press by any means but you won’t worry about misclick
have yet to misclick with it, playing with 400DPI, so I move and lift the mouse a lot.

Imo, rubber grip is pure trash, i hope companies eliminate this once for all. It's difficult to clean, sticky to the hands and wear out, turning the mouse into a very bad looking piece of garbage on your desk in a very short period of time. If ppl want rubber/silicone, just buy the grip and put it into the mouse. But please, dont make them with it. Personally I just dont buy a g502x plus or basilisk v3 pro or any of these "productivity" mice just because of the rubber.
That's a really good point! I want to get the Aerox 9 but don't really like the grated holes. Do you know any good sleeves or grips for it?
