    • Definitely the stingers for the price! Techne- the stinger wireless improved the microphone, decreased some of the weight and balanced the sound even more than the wired pair. Check those out! They are one of my go to wireless headsets lately. It’s an amazing upgrade from the wired stingers

    • If I was on a budget then the Arctis 1 would be my pick. Really like the Steelseries sound signature. You gonna try the HyperX Cloud Alpha S sometime? Grabbed a pair yesterday and really like so far. HyperX has did it again. Curious for your opinion

  • Not enough reviews like yours. Thanks for making this. I would love to see this updated. Being able to listen to the mic quality during the review of each headset is a HUGE factor that many reviewers skip. I would love to see a new $50 review like this one for 2020. And I would love to see an ultra budget version of this review format for the $40 and under range to see what might work for ultra budget steamer startups as I see a ton of headsets in the $20-35 range. Again, thanks for this great mic comparison review. Others cover mostly the $100+ range.

  • Thanks for your video. I ended up getting the HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming, because of the swivel for comfort, and as recommended by some friends. The volume slider isn't much of an issue for me, since it does the job. I'm enjoying this both for my gaming, and for work.

  • Would you rather get the hyper x cloud stingers or the arctis 3's? I saw your video on the artics 1 vs the 3's and you basically said theyre the same except the 3 has a bit more comfort.   • Ive been watching your reviews lately because i love your enthusiasm and of coursenyour vids are good. I have an old pair of Logitech g430 headset and their pretty good, they make footsteps sound super close which isnt good as keep thinking enemies are close by. I want to upgrade but its a minefield out there and im not sure if its worthwhile if sound quality is the same. What would you recommend for about £60 price range.

  • Thank you so much! This was super helpful. I watched a few other budget/affordable gaming headset review videos but yours was the best by far. You were born for this! I ended up going with the Redragon because I thought the mic quality sounded superb, the overall design of it is slick, and love that it has the USB dongle. Since my main purpose for these is PC gaming, it's perfect. Also has a detachable mic which I've never had before and like that option if I'm just using it for audio. Thanks again!

    • @@Check2311w yes for sure. The sound is comparable to higher-end headsets. For the price tag I think they can't be beat! They look very sleek and my only problem is they do fit a bit tight on the head but that may just be me as I'm quite sensitive with anything I have over my ears.

  • the g332 was my road dog for a few years until I stopped getting sound out of one of the ears, biggest issue I had with it was the cord kept tangling up which eventually destroyed it over time... I tried unwinding it regularly but it always was tangled. Great Sound in the thing and good mic I loved it for CSGO.

  • Great video, really enjoy your positive energy and honest opinions. One suggestion for the future, be sure to mention the connections (3.5mm / USB) and cable length. No one seems to talk about these features, but they are very important - especially if your console or PC is hidden or far away from where you work/play.

  • I just got the Redragon to replace my 8 year old Sennheiser 360s and they are amazing. Not super surprised from the brand since I have one of their cheap mice and it performs just as well as any Razer or Logitech one I have had. Thanks for the recommendation, never even thought of buying one of their headsets.

  • ive had the stingers for 2 and a half years now and even after a lot of damages, the audio and mic is still perfect but i still gotta get new ones though cause they look nasty now lol. The only problem is that because of all these comments talking about their stingers being damaged in a short amount of time, I can't decide between the Kraken x and rebuying the stingers.

    • I had the kraken X before my car actually ate it and the sound quality was on fleek plus it was very confortable but as soon as I’m on discord w it there was a terrible echo for the ppl talking w me ^^

  • I got the hyperx cloud stinger and glad to see it’s his number 1 choice. It is really a great headset.. and even with over air my ears don’t get sweaty at all.. sound quality is superb and it’s feels like a solid headset

    • Brian Diaz They’re great, especially for the price. I like the volume slider and they sound good from both ends. Haven’t had a single issue with them, just keep in mind they aren’t surround and they’re a smart buy.
