  • I hope the people at the top stick with Vowles for the long term, based on what he is doing, nothing is going to change in 2-3 years, they will reap the benefits most likely start to reap some of the benefits from the changes he's making around year 5. He sounds to have a good plan to get the team in a better scoring position, which may eventually turn into wins, but you can't do that if you keep changing who's running the team. Go Vowles!

In the race his finished 2 places behind. 2023 Saudi Logan didn’t set a 107% quali time because of a mechanical but finished the race 16th while Albon didn’t finish 2024 Bahrain his best quali lap was 0.4 sec slower (double what it was in 2023) and he finished 5 places behind Albon more that double the year before 2024 Saudi he was 0.6 slower in quali and finished 3 places behind Albon If anything he’s getting worse. • It’s so great that Williams has you as its TP. Your analytical and heart felt approach to managing your team in such a difficult operating environment…. Truly brilliant. 👏 You have nothing to feel bad about your team’s status …you walked into a crap storm and have worked miracles so far. Benching Logan was your only option . I have great affection for Alex, as he has had to fight and scratch his whole career, and his being at Williams with you and your team is the best situation he has been in so far. And he has shown great skill in making good outcomes considering the team’s situation..much like George did previous. Logan is still getting up to speed with his own personal capabilities, and you took a real chance keeping him around. He should be nothing but grateful to even still be in F1, after the situations with DeVries and Lawson last year. Right decision, and he should be totally supportive of the move. No need for apologies, sorry.😉 I had met Mr. Williams in the 80’s when I was racing DTM cars in Germany for the AMG folks, and was always a fan. When his daughter was struggling to hold the team together, it was agonizing and so sad to watch. The new owners seem the have their heads on straight, and were smart to convince Toto to bring you over. I have nothing but confidence that you and your team will pull this together, and have strong positive results this year. Truly, hang in there and don’t get frustrated…you’ve got this!👍😁 Cheers!

  • In a vacuum the decision was correct, but utterly humiliating and demoralizing 50% of your drivers with 21 races left does not seem like a good trade for the off-chance of getting a point. Especially if you expect to increase your relative pace over the season. You are essentially lessening your chance of getting points with a faster car in 21 other races, for a marginally higher chance of getting points in one race.

Isn’t that the responsibility of the team boss? I mean I like Vowels but he’s doing worse than Claire did and she didn’t have any budget. He’s been there a year, now, just look at what Vasseur has done to Ferrari in a year, that team was a mess and is now the best organized team in F1. I’m sorry to say James isn’t making any progress, the team looks worse off , I’m still hopeful he can turn it around but at some point excuses are not enough and the team has to show improvements if you want to reach the top in 5 years.

So if you're one of the fools posting comments laughing at Alex finishing outside the points, you're just showing everyone your complete and utter lack of F1 knowledge! Alex's average finish this season is 12th. Logan's was P17, so James made the right call on which driver to race for the team. That's a fact!!! Well done James!!!

  • Decisions are judged based on results. You failed to get any points, so your decision failed. Regardless if Logan would have done any better 11-19 is essentially the same position. Time for a new TP.

He claims he is the guy caring about people, and when he has the first opportunity to demonstrate that he reveals himself. His kind is the worst type of boss you want n corporate, the supportive on the surface, but backstabbing whenever he has the chance. Australia : 0 pts
