  • The best British fact of this video is: "It is customary to make tea for tradesmen who visit your house". I think it will be great if every country adopt this tradition or habit for themselves 🙂 I am sure that if we start doing it, we can give a lot of kindness to other people. Also I was surprised that it is illegal to be drunk in licenced premises😳 "ta" for this lesson.😆

  • Common wealth like Malaysia drives on the left too haha

    @lynnyapphd6060@lynnyapphd60607 ай бұрын
  • Left and right side driving: Originally most people RODE on the left side, without D, on horses. This is an older story than the cars. Napoleon started to change it in Europe and set this rule everywhere - I mean everywhere he got the power. We do not know why maybe because he was left-handed and/or because he wanted to do something different than the UK. The UK was one of the first countries that regulated this in 1735. After Napoleon, many countries kept the rule, but not all. Eg in Austrian-Hungary Monarch used to use the left-driving rule. In the 1930s, Germany's power increased - they used the right side -, and the countries on the continent started to make it uniform. Austria changed in 1938, Czechoslovakia changed in 1939, and Hungary changed in 1941. There was a preparation time slot, so it caused only a little chaos. The last country that changed is Sweden, in 1967. BUT, trains still run on the left side: in France, in Portuguese, in Sweden, and there are some mixed systems: there are some unique railways in Hungary eg, where trains still use the left side even if most of them use the right side. UPDATE: OK, maybe I should've continued the listening before I wrote. :D

  • I think you have to come to Argentina and then have a better perspective of where is the best food around the world, is not in Italy. The best meat in the world is here, ice creams, pasta, etc. You name it. Italy is very good but Argentina´s food is way better. If you come here I recommend you ask for a bife de chorizo with fries. (or "a caballo") is with 2 fry eggs on the top of fries.
