  • Hi Jim I’m not a wood Turner, but I absolutely love watching your videos. It’s really fun for me to see what you come up with from the pieces you choose. I think you have a great guy and a great imagination. I am legally blind so this is not a craft I see myself ever doing, but it fascinates me and I can only imagine how the woods feel, smell and finish.

  • Jim! I think that this platter is your absolute best work yet! The burl with the opalescent resin is stunning! 😍💕💫🤩If you had a store, this is the piece I would go to first, second ....and last! I hope you keep this piece. Maybe do something similar with the box elder bowl you roughed out last week? Then you have a matched display set! LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!
