Appreciate the time you dedicated to provide your feedback. As an experienced user of different car manufactures, could you please state top difference between hybrid system in a Toyota Prius an a hybrid system in a BMW 5 series?
By the way eight of those buttons on the five series are user programmable, they can be anything you want them to be.

@@aboateng5668 Trivially done. They a numbered 1-8. You just select what you want on the user interface (e.g., a radio station, climate settings, whatever - leaving that last action on the screen), and then press and HOLD the button. They are called "Programmable memory buttons" in the owners manual. The section in the manual starts out with "The iDrive functions can be stored on the programmable memory buttons and called up directly, for instance radio stations, navigation destinations, phone numbers and menu entries.". So, NOT JUST for station memory. ;)

I noticed your video, and it seems to me that you are the perfect guy to ask some questions. Owning a Passat GTE also at the moment, but thinking to move forward to the BMW 530e. Is it ok if I ask you some questions in Dutch?

Ik bezit nu de Passat GTE uit 2016 met 300pk en 500nm (stage 1) Prima auto op zich maar ik vind hem best wel saai qua uitstraling en ook qua performance. Hierom zit ik nu te denken aan de BMW 530e en deze ook te tunen naar stage 1 (dan rond de 360pk) Nu heb ik niet echt duidelijk of jij deze BMW voor langere tijd gereden hebt, maar welke noemenswaardige verschillen tussen deze twee auto's zijn jou opgevallen? Heb jij ook getest wat de max range is op alleen de accu? Heb jij helder hoe het benzine verbruik is tussen deze twee als je in hybride rijdt? Hoe verschilt het rijgedrag tussen deze twee, de comfort en bv de rust/stilte in de auto onder het rijden. Zijn er opties of andere zaken die de GTE wel bezit en die je miste bij de BMW? Etc etc 😉
@@Flevoman Dit is de auto van mijn vriend. Passat heeft trouwens maar 218 pk voor zover ik weet. ) BMW heeft natuurlijk deze luxe uitstraling, maar heeft een zeer kleine kofferbak, minder ruimte voor passagiers. Ik ben dus geen grote fan. Ik denk dat de beste PHEV de Volvo XC90 is
@@azamatismailov1438 dank voor je reply. Het klopt dat de passat 218hp heeft, maar ik heb die van mij laten chippen (stage 1) en deze bezit nu 300pk en 500nm. Blijkbaar ben je minder enthousiast over de 530e dan ik had verwacht . De Volvo is idd een mooie auto, maar niet wat ik zoek Heb nu m'n pijlen op de 530e maar zit nog met te veel vragen die ik tracht beantwoord te krijgen met het nodige zoekwerk

Yes, you're right. I have not realised at the time of the shoot that although the car is new, it is a pre-facelift version. I am in The Netherlands.
