While watching the fight, I thought Cabbage broke his ribs rather than his arm. I thought at the time that this had been achieved by one of Butterbean's 400lb bodyshots, and that this must have been during the second round, given Cabbage's more or less complete dominance during the first round. I also love how afterwards they're standing there completely at ease with one another, with one missing several teeth and the other sporting a broken elbow. Nutters!

I watched Cabbage's UFC fights. I remember that he has excellent power combinations and a large, concrete head that is unfazed by heavy punches. The Bean does not look like an athlete, but he moves well for such a huge man. When he's fresh, he actually is light on his feet.
Love the respect these guys have for each other. Great example to see.

I can't believe I heard people booing at the end of this fight. What a disrespect to two guys who showed incredible resilience and gave 100%, just for there entertainment. And what class at the end of the fight especially by Cabbage, showing both of these fighters are pure heart and very little ego, just doing what they love.
I think it's because it looked like BB was kneeing the other guy in the nads a few times in a row. I think if he was hitting him there though that Cabbage would have raised a stink.

Butterbean was a superb athlete. He was spooky fast for his size, and his stamina, especially for his size, was out of this world. He was a genuine freak. I remember his VO2 max was confirmed to be that of an elite endurance athlete.

Butterbean basically can't be knocked out, MULTIPLE hard elbows to HEAD and he just spits out his teeth and keeps going. So he's a man that you aren't going to knock out and you definitely don't want to stand toe to toe because he has bricks for hands and a bowling ball for a head. Your only option is make him tired and try to submit in a hold. I mean that has to be scary you throw massive elbows to a guy in the face multiple times so hard you break your arm and he's still standing.
a loss is a loss does not need to be a knockout for a win butter has lost 3 fights by this point and he is an ok fighter but if he was fighting anyone worth mentioning he would be killed in mma

Both of them did a great job in there! Butterbean always impresses me. His cardio and toughness is amazing. He was being hit with elbows hard enough to knock out his teeth, and it never even slowed him down. Cabbage was fighting most of the time with a broken arm. You have to respect how tough and dangerous both of them are. That was awesome.

I'm not saying that Butterbean is a marathoner, but none of those guys were carrying 400 pounds, OR having to deal with wrestling and kicking during their fights either.
